As Nashville country singer Alexis Wilkins, girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel, unleashes a $5 million federal lawsuit in Texas against former agent-turned-podcaster Kyle Seraphin for wild, baseless claims painting her as a Mossad "honeypot" operative to compromise Patel, Nantz cuts through the noise with insider breakdowns on Seraphin's discharge from the Bureau, his use of smear tactics mirroring those deployed against patriots, and a chilling voicemail where he dubs himself the "gatekeeper" amid threats and blacklisting efforts. Diving deeper, the trio spotlights how insiders aren't always white hats, unpacking FHFA Director Bill Pulte's C-SPAN revelations on mortgage fraud tied to Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Cook—declaring her "cooked" in a criminal referral storm that questions Deep State entrenchment. Jerry Trupiano spent nearly 15 years in the Red Sox radio booth and called the team's historic 2004 World Series victory, ironically in his hometown of St. Louis. Trupiano attended St. Louis University and grew up learning from legendary Cardinals broadcaster Jack Buck. Prior to his time in Boston, Jerry was a sports talk show host for 14 years in Houston and did play-by-play for all of the city's professional teams.Early in his radio career, he gave a University of Houston student named Jim Nantz his first job in sports broadcasting. Years later at the 2021 Ouimet Banquet, Nantz surprised Trupiano by naming his endowed Ouimet Scholarship in honor of his mentor and longtime friend. In the Ouimet tradition, Jerry has continued paying it forward, teaching young broadcasters at the University of Houston and locally at Dean College.

We talked about World Series game 3 tonight. Boomer is impressed with the speed Ohtani has on the bases and how he moves when he hits a ball he knows is extra bases. Boomer still thinks the Yankees are going to win the World Series, although he also said whoever won game 1 would win the Series. Gio loves the Yankees in tonight's game 3. C-Lo returns for an update and has all the sounds of the Jets losing to the Patriots. That's 5 straight losses to bring them to 2-6. Trevon Diggs was not happy with a reporter that tweeted a video that showed him not giving a full effort. ‘Talk about deez nuts', said Diggs. We heard from Nantz and Romo as Washington threw a hail mary to beat the Bears. In the final segment of the hour, Taylor Mathis, one of the walking bets girls got into some sort of cryptocurrency scandal that she tweeted she wanted to kill herself.
Hour 1 The Jets lost to the Patriots and Boomer said they have to get rid of Greg Zuerlein. There is nothing about the Jets that looks good. The offense, defense and special teams are all terrible right now. When you blow it by drafting a QB that stinks, you are screwed for a decade. What are the repercussions for holding someone accountable? The Patriots have no offense whatsoever and they marched down the field converting third downs and beat the Jets. And the fact that it was the Patriots again that ended the Jets season is ‘cruel' according to Gio. Gio said ‘it's hilarious' at this point. And the Jets are on national television again this Thursday night against the Texans. C-Lo is in for Jerry and is here for his first update of the day, but first we talked about the terrible haircut he got last week. He starts with the sounds of the Jets giving up a late TD to lose in New England. The Jets have lost 5 straight and are now 2-6. There is still a disconnect between Rodgers and the offense. Jeff Ulbrich called it a moment of darkness so Rodgers was asked about that after the game. The Commanders won on a hail mary and C-Lo has the audio. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Woody Johnson firing Rob Saleh in the middle of the season, and Saleh wanting to change offensive play calling duties. Hour 2 The Yankees come back home tonight down 2-0. The Friday night game was as bad as it gets as far as Aaron Boone affecting the game. Gio thought Gerrit Cole himself should have had a problem with being pulled from that game. Even Edwin Diaz told Carlos Mendoza, ‘No'. And why don't the analytics factor in when a guy hasn't pitched in forever like Nestor Cortes. Then they lose game 2 and Aaron Judge is simply not hitting. Now their backs are up against the walls. Cortes does not pitch in the ninth inning with two men on and superstars coming up. He has not dealt with that as he's a starting pitcher. We went over the various moves that Aaron Boone made that didn't work. The Yankees are actually favored tonight and Boomer said they should be as they have been in both these games. The Yankees have to beat up on Walker Buehler. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Jets losing to the lowly Patriots. The Jets have now lost 5 straight. The Cowboys lost to the Niners and they fall to 3-4. Jameis Winston referenced Eminem after the game. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer wants the Yankees fans to give Judge a standing ovation like the Phillies fans did for Trea Turner. Hour 3 We talked about World Series game 3 tonight. Boomer is impressed with the speed Ohtani has on the bases and how he moves when he hits a ball he knows is extra bases. There is perhaps no more familiar voice in the game than that of Jim Nantz, host of CBS' golf coverage, including almost 40 years of The Masters. In this candid chat with John Huggan, Nantz reveals his journey from humble beginnings in the game to his start in broadcasting and a career so successful, he now owns a home (with its own golf hole) at the iconic Pebble Beach. Nantz is charming, funny and articulate and has a knack for telling a good story, of which he has plenty.
Jim Nantz is one of the most famous sports broadcasters in America. Since being hired by CBS Sports in 1985 at age 26, he's become a 5-time national sportscaster of the year and has provided the play-by-play soundtrack for many of the most iconic moments in sports. Nantz has called multiple Super Bowls, Final Fours and the Masters. The Nantz family also has deep roots in North Carolina. Nantz, 65, not only was born in Charlotte, but both his mom's and dad's families are deeply embedded in our state. Nantz was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame in 2024. For his "Sports Legends of the Carolinas" interview, Nantz sat with us in Greensboro, where he was broadcasting a golf tournament. We spoke about his family, the time he called a Super Bowl featuring the Carolina Panthers and the origin story about why he opens every telecast with the phrase “Hello friends.” Learn more about your ad choices. Hour 1 The Mets won their seventh straight game completing the sweep of the Red Sox. The Yankees lost to the Rangers again and Aaron Boone said they are going to have to be creative with the closer role because Clay Holmes has been terrible. The Mets are 12 games over .500 and on a 7-game winning streak and they are still looking up at the Braves. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first we talked about Evan Roberts not being able to pronounce the names of the people on Good Morning Football. Hour 3 The NFL fans have had enough of Taylor Swift but we're in for it again this season. Gio understands how it can be annoying.
