A pod for everyone, about nothing and everything. Made by lacrosse players.
For Episode 6, we posted up at The Shack with one of the game's OGs, K18 himself. We talked mostly about the Hopkins days, because Diggs is a huge Jays homer. We talked about Hopkins's 2005 championship run, sneakers, Team USA tryouts, putting hands on package delivery people who knock too loud, the evolution of the faceoff position, puka shell necklaces, and more random stuff. Just another day at The Shack.
Our next guest had more dishes than Olive Garden last year. Noted Philly Boi Grant Ament posts up at The Shack with Rudy and Diggs to talk lacrosse (why he picked Penn State, how lacrosse content has changed through the years) and not-lacrosse (Tiger King, Wawa vs. Sheetz, Mac Miller). Typical Shack conversation, really.
Episode 4 brings us guest number two of The Shack Pod: the squad's one and only Alex Langton. Slangs brings us professional advice about this COVID-19 malarkey, and then we talk about Bearcat things, 2021 college lacrosse, and what our favorite eras of lacrosse are. Oh, and Slangs went to high school with the people who made the song for the intro (Kings of Summer by ayokay and Quinn XCII), which is why he picked it.
Join us as we welcome our first-ever guest host: ankle collector extraordinaire and former Hatboro-Horsham High School hype man Mikey Sowers. We talk Princeton lacrosse, Philly lacrosse, cheesesteaks, Connect Four, and more.
