Podcast by Shirley Brown
This is the final episode in our series on The Power of Collective Wisdom with Kim, Pavna, Roya, Nagiene and Alice. Join us in hearing their wisdom and perspectives on being a woman from an under-represented group in today's America.
Continuing on from episode 10, Today we dip deep into the heart of being a woman from a diverse, ethnic, religious and cultural background or being someone of color and how our five guests Roya, Kim, Nagiane, Alice and Bhavana have and continue to adapt. Each of them has a unique story and yet the collective of their stories provide us with a view from a new perspective. You might see yourself in the ways in which you have adapted as well as the ways in which you have been unaware of what the women around you experience on a daily basis.
Continuing from episode 9 This interesting and eye opening dialogue with Roya, Kim, Nagiane, Bhavana and Alice, five distinctly diverse women, reveals a very personal side of being a woman and dealing with cultural biases.
I am humbled and excited to be bringing you this episode and the next several to follow which are part of our next series entitled "Our Collective Wisdom." I have always believed that when all voices are heard and included the solutions or results we come up with far surpass the direction and dictation of following one single person, a select few or an agreed upon yet narrow perspective. For episode 9, 10, 11 and 12 I am speaking with five dynamic and powerful women who come from distinctly diverse backgrounds. Their unique brilliance coupled with the collective voice that rises in the dialogue are not only inspiring but eye opening. Be sure to listen to these episodes in order as it is a continuing conversation.
This podcast is dedicated to you living your life unapologetically.
Given that women are innately equipped for Emotional Intelligence, we decided to talk with four accomplished women about how emotional intelligence has helped them in their successes. I think you will find this episode of Unapologetically You interesting and, as is always our aim, it will get you thinking about your unique expression and in this case, your own emotional intelligence.
When I first began my journey to empower women, I never thought I would write a subject line of "Reclaiming Our Feminine Power." Today, I must write that and I write it not only for each and every woman but also for each and every man. In this episode we explore historical data concerning women and the value of the feminine voice in the world and we also begin leaning into the power and capacities that women (and the feminine in all of us) provides.
