We wanted to give you guys this episode that is unfiltered and unedited because we haven’t left but have actually been working on our brand and on how to branch out. In the episode we mention how we will be going on a business trip to Vancouver to finalize a couple of things and once we’re back, its back to giving you all the content you deserve. This week, we touched on weekly insights from Verszus with Brandy and Monica and to the genius Justin Bieber video feature in the new DJ Khaled and Drake single: “POPSTAR” - but we also got deep ! Today, we talked about body image and growing up in an African household that policed young girls and women’s bodies heavily. This was inspired by an article put out by Fariha Róisín (Twitter: @fariharoisin) titled “On Sex & Islam: The complications of being sexual and a person of faith” which led us to unravel our experiences. We also talk a bit about dating, rejection and building confidence.
