We took a week off from the main show, and you know what that means: We're keeping you busy with some older Between the Sheets Patreon content that we've now made available for free. This time, we decided to assemble the entire “FUCK SABU!” trilogy (originally Patreon episodes #43-#45), covering Sabu's wild 1995, into one file for everyone to check out as a taste of what our Patreon-only deep dives are like. This is a great example, too, as we notice some very interesting things that the newsletters didn't pick up on at the time, like Chris Benoit's surprisingly obvious involvement in orchestrating the whole scenario.Want more content like this? Then sign up for the $5.00/month ($50.40/year if paid annually upfront) tier on our Patreon page and check out the back catalog that spans almost 9 years. This month, for August, the deep dive that we've started on is more 1995 content, covering Bill Watts' brief stint booking the WWF. Also, don't forget: From this point forward, regardless of if we're doing a month-long deep-dive or a smattering of smaller topics, we now release weekly Patreon content, with the segments of the month-long deep dives getting dropped each week as we record them.Anyway, we hope you enjoy these shows, and now, here are the original show descriptions:Part 1:Since April is the 25th anniversary of Sabu being fired from ECW, we decided it was the perfect opportunity to take a deep dive looking at everything that happened surrounding that very memorable event. So that brings us to this month's special, part one of what should be at least two episodes looking at Sabu's 1995, from his signing with NJPW to his indie schedule to his troubles with ECW, climaxing with Sabu double booking himself the night of ECW's big Three-Way Dance card. How did Sabu end up booked in NJPW the same night as the ECW show on late notice, why didn't he just cancel one of the bookings, and how did the situation devolve from there? We look at all of this in-depth, as it was covered in the newsletters, where both Sabu and Paul Heyman were commenting in detail on the record. All that and much more, including Chris Benoit's apparent major role in the Sabu/ECW schism, the greatness of Murder Inc./Wolf Army in 1995 NJPW, Sabu getting maced while doing a run-in for Circle City Wrestling, Chris Zavisa as Sabu's house organ, the proliferation of "Best of Sabu" videotapes, the reemergence of Dennis Coralluzzo in Sabu's career, and much more. This is a GREAT show, with a *lot* of fascinating stuff that's never talked about. Here's looking forward to part two!Part 2:We're back to pick up where we left off in our journey through Sabu's 1995, starting a few weeks after his firing from ECW over the "FUCK SABU!" no-show, as he starts talking to WCW and wins the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship from Koji Kanemoto at the Fukuoka Dome. Things quickly take a turn, though, as Sabu *throws down the title while cutting a promo about how he's a heavyweight*, NJPW tries to pretend it never happened, Sabu drops the belt at the next major show, Sabu becomes one of the anchors of Kevin Sullivan's plan to build "two WCWs" for the Monday Nitro launch, and much more happens as we close out the show just before Nitro launches. But the real meat of this show is in the forgotten Observer report, in black and white and plain English, that Sabu and Paul Heyman came to a secret agreement on an ECW return months before the actual return happened, and how Taz must have been privy to it given his career prospects at the time. All that and much more on another fascinating chapter in the "FUCK SABU!" saga!Part 3:We're back to pick up where we left off in our journey through Sabu's 1995, finishing up the series as we cover the launch of WCW Monday Nitro through the release of the 1995 Wrestling Observer Newsletter Awards in January 1996. Topics include how quickly Sabu's WCW run fell apart, the strange six month gap where Sabu stops teaming with the rest of Masahiro Chono's Okami Gundan/Murder Inc. stable in NJPW, Sabu scrambling for ideas to make him a pushed heavyweight in WCW like bringing in The Sheik's old United States Championship belt, The Sheik becoming Sabu's agent, Sabu returning to Dennis Coralluzzo's NWA New Jersey, Sabu becoming a transitional UWA World Junior Light Heavyweight Champion, Konnan trying to court Sabu for AAA, Sabu returning to ECW the same day he worked for Dennis, a labyrinthian web of conflicting stories from Sabu and Heyman about how they worked out the return, Sabu “officially” being fired from WCW on their hotline, the WWF's efforts to get Sabu for the 1996 Royal Rumble, and MUCH more. This is a fantastic end to the series and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed recording it.Timestamps:0:09:00 December 1994-January 19950:40:11 February-March 19951:09:52 Week of April 3 & Week of April 10, 19952:04:29 Week of April 17, 19952:27:03 April-May 19953:14:04 June 19953:33:51 July 19954:02:51 August 19954:36:30 September 19955:19:37 October 19955:55:23 November 19956:43:38 December 1995 and beyondTo support the show and get access to exclusive rewards like special members-only monthly themed shows, go to our Patreon page at Patreon.com/BetweenTheSheets and become an ongoing Patron. In this episode, REB's Liam Garman sits down with Mark Nunn – director and principal of Buxton Ballarat and the listing agent for House 3 on The Block – to go behind the scenes of this season and explore why Daylesford is fast becoming Victoria's hottest lifestyle market. As the listing agent for Britt and Taz's “Wellness House”, Mark lifts the lid on the features turning buyer heads in Victoria's “spa country” – from saunas and yoga studios to design-led living tailored to post-pandemic lifestyles. Mark then examines the surge in buyer activity across regional Victoria. In particular, how proximity to the city, improved infrastructure, and demand for short-stay accommodation have all contributed to strong capital growth across the regions. They then turn to why Daylesford, in particular, is now front and centre, thanks to The Block's national spotlight. They then discuss what buyers are really looking for in 2025 – turnkey properties, wellness-focused design, and flexible homes that blend lifestyle with liveability – and how this informed the strategy for House 3. ArabellaTwitter/ X: https://x.com/Volatilis_Aetas Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mydeceitfulheart/ Artikel in der TAZ: https://taz.de/Arabella-Wintermayr/!a59374/ Hanna Twitter/ X: https://twitter.com/HannaHuge Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/mediawhore.bsky.social Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mediawhore Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/2gBf2qycVN7asOiujkOhDQ Hosted on Acast. Lee Scholar at Mississippi State University ‘The Bluebird Guy’ Leads 13-Year Conservation Effort in West Cobb All of this and more is coming up on the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen and subscribe! BREAK: INGLES 9 STORY 1: Cobb K9 finds murder victim remains, suspect sentenced to life A Cobb County investigator, Dr. Tracy Sargent, and her K-9 partner, Taz, played a key role in solving the murder of Carrie Hardin, a Fayetteville woman. Taz, a cadaver dog rescued and trained by Sargent, discovered Carrie’s burned body in a shallow grave near her home. Carrie’s husband, Kenneth Hardin Jr., confessed to the murder after a domestic dispute and was arrested in Louisiana following a multi-state manhunt. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including felony murder, and was sentenced to life without parole. Sargent and Taz have a history of assisting law enforcement nationwide in missing persons and homicide cases. STORY 2: Acworth student named a Stephen D. Lee Scholar at Mississippi State University Katherine Ullmer of Acworth was honored as a Stephen D. Lee Scholar during Mississippi State University's spring 2025 commencement. Among over 3,500 graduates, she was one of 140 students to achieve this distinction, awarded to those with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Ullmer earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing from MSU's College of Business. STORY 3: ‘The Bluebird Guy’ Leads 13-Year Conservation Effort in West Cobb Jim Bearden, a 79-year-old retired event planner from Alabama, is affectionately known as “the Bluebird Guy” for his 13-year conservation efforts to repopulate bluebirds in the southeast. Starting with one nesting box at Green Meadows Preserve in Cobb County, Bearden has expanded the Bluebird Trail to over 30 boxes, helping over 3,000 bluebirds thrive. His work combats the species' decline caused by DDT in the 1960s and ’70s. Bearden funds much of the effort himself, including $200 monthly for mealworms, but annual fundraisers like the Marietta Wine Market event help offset costs. The trail’s success has inspired community involvement, with Bearden sharing tips like planting native plants and avoiding pesticides. His work is also shared with Cornell’s NestWatch program, ensuring a lasting impact. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.799.6810 for more info. We’ll be right back. Break: INGLES 9 STORY 4: 'Love and diversity': Thousands celebrate LGBTQ+ community at Smyrna Pride The fifth annual Smyrna Pride festival brought together over 3,500 attendees on Saturday to celebrate love, diversity, and the LGBTQ+ community. Hosted by Smyrna is Fabulous, the event is Cobb County’s only Pride festival and featured over 50 LGBTQ-owned or inclusive vendors, live music, face painting, and food. Campbell High School’s Pride Coalition engaged guests with a signed rainbow flag tradition, fostering a safe space for LGBTQ+ students. Attendees, including families and allies, embraced the festival’s message of love and acceptance. Organizers highlighted the importance of creating a welcoming space in Georgia, celebrating the beauty of diverse identities and connections. STORY 5: Cobb D.A. launches chaplain program to support staff facing trauma Cobb District Attorney Sonya Allen introduced a chaplain program to support her team of prosecutors, investigators, and staff who face trauma from handling violent crimes. At a luncheon, Senior DA Jared Horowitz and others shared the emotional toll of cases involving murder, rape, and child abuse. The program, offering spiritual care from various faiths, aims to help staff process their experiences and maintain mental well-being. Pastor Dorcas Rodriguez emphasized providing compassion and support, while Horowitz highlighted the importance of staying emotionally strong to serve victims and the community. The event concluded with prayers, marking the program's start in fostering justice and compassion. Break: STORY 6: Marietta Awards $1.4M in Arts and Tourism Grants The Marietta City Council approved $1.39 million in grants to 18 local arts, culture, and tourism organizations, funded by auto rental and hotel/motel taxes. Major recipients included the Marietta History Center ($160,000), Strand Theatre ($100,000), and Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art ($95,000). The Georgia Symphony Orchestra received $24,000, far below their $95,000 request, sparking concern from Councilwoman Cheryl Richardson, who highlighted the orchestra’s 75-year contribution to the community. Despite her opposition, the council approved the recommendations. The grants support programming, marketing, and staffing for organizations, ensuring continued investment in Marietta’s cultural scene. STORY 7: Truist Park, Battery revenues continue to outpace county debt service Cobb County’s partnership with the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta continues to generate significant revenue, surpassing its debt obligations. In 2024, the county netted $3 million in general fund gains, with property tax revenues from The Battery increasing to $2.6 million. Since 2014, The Battery’s taxable value has grown from $5 million to $577 million. Additional sales tax revenues from the development totaled $28 million in 2024, benefiting the county, schools, and state. Braves Development Company highlighted ongoing projects, including new restaurants, residential towers, and the upcoming MLB All-Star Week, showcasing the partnership’s long-term success and economic impact. Become a Relative & send some loveEver wondered what happens when raw talent meets unfiltered truth? Taz's upcoming project "Confessional" answers that question with summer anthems that will have you rolling down your windows and turning up the volume. When people kept asking Taz to "tell the truth," she decided to do exactly that – on her own terms. The result is an eight-track collection that showcases her unique perspective and undeniable talent. "I'm going to tell my side. I'm going to tell how I'm living, how I see it, what my experience is," she explains, giving listeners a glimpse into the authenticity that drives her music. The journey to "Confessional" took Taz to Houston, where she collaborated with acclaimed producer Bigg Cuz (known for working with Mo3, Kentheman, and Erica Banks) in marathon studio sessions running from 6PM to 1AM for three consecutive days. Rather than working with pre-made beats, Bigg Cuz challenged Taz to create in real-time, pushing her artistry to new heights. "He was like, 'I want to make the beat right now, and I want you to write right now,'" Taz shares, describing the intense creative process that gave birth to tracks like "This How I'm Comin'" – her favorite song and the first single from the project. What sets "Confessional" apart is its versatility. From songs addressing relationship dynamics to personal reflections (including a track dedicated to her son) to unapologetically "freaky" anthems, Taz delivers a sound she describes as "different from what you heard in the city." Her music stands out in the DMV scene while remaining universally relatable – perfect for summer drives, pre-gaming with friends, or anytime you need that confidence boost.Mark your calendars for May 23rd, when "Confessional" drops alongside a special listening party. This isn't just another music release – it's an introduction to an artist who refuses to compromise her vision. As Taz puts it, "When I come on this project, I'm coming harder than what you ever heard before."Relationships Worth More Than Money by Tweezy Kennedy & Marcus Allandavailable on all streaming platforms!Support the showInstagram: @rwmtmpodYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@RWMTMpodGet RWMTM MERCH HERE!!!!! https://streamlabs.com/tweezydabeatterroristkennedy/merch

Your blueprint for navigating hormone shifts in your 30s, 40s, & 50s! In today's episode, integrative medicine physician Dr. Taz Bhatia talks about how to optimize hormones in your late 30s, what to do to support your liver and estrogen detoxification during perimenopause, and everything you need to know about starting hormone replacement therapy. We also answer your questions about lab work, signs of specific hormone imbalances, and unexplained midlife weight gain. This one has it all! Timestamps:[1:38] Noelle Intro[3:35] Welcome Dr. Taz [4:00] What's the latest research saying about women's health and hormones and what are you seeing actually work with your patients? [10:31] In your experience, what are the top things that women can do in their 30's to set themselves up for success in perimenopause?[14:40] Should we be looking at our numbers from testing and using that information to “optimize” them?[21:04] What's are the differences between the many hormonal shifts in our 30's?[26:47] What's a good repletion plan once we've been depleted due to stress, pregnancy or other things?[35:05] Do you think that women, as they enter perimenopause, should be regularly supporting the liver with herbs?[40:23] In perimenopause, what should I consider taking and what are the must dos? How do we know when it's time to start HRT?[42:12] Can you talk about the symptoms of low and high estrogen and progesterone? [44:35] How do you find a doctor that actually prescribes HRT? [45:25] I'm curious about when the right time is to get on HRT. Should I start it as a preventative measure or wait until I start experiencing symptoms? [46:39] What about HRT for people with the MTHFR mutation? [48:33] The change in body proportions have really played with my head. It's hard to feel healthy with an increase in midsection fat. How do I address this? [51:07] Is there any way to lower slightly elevated LDL cholesterol in perimenopause, even if HDL cholesterol is great? [51:30] Why do I feel terrible during ovulation?
