We discuss the impact of the pandemic on the UK thus far, including the approaches taken by the different nations.We're also aware that because this episode has come out a little later than expected some of the issues may seem a little outdated, so be sure to watch out for our follow up episode!

Our new host, Georgia Jones, and I recorded this episode in which we discussed the progression of the #MeToo movement from a hashtag used by Hollywood actors to something affecting the lives of everyone in the workplace, within families and online. Unfortunately we weren't able to get this episode out before global civilization began to collapse, so does any of this even matter? If we survive this ongoing pandemic, we'll revisit the topic some time in the future!

Just a short episode before Polsoc's upcoming AGM on the 27th! Charlie talks about political polarisation and populism, and argues that the only way to stop having people like Trump emerge is to tackle the environment that created him in the first place, by accepting that our politics are divided and adopting radical policies that would actually address the discontent and poverty that fuel populism.
