Trump's hit man Bill Pulte's finger prints are all of the 2 count indictment in which Trump has framed NY AG Leticia James for mortgage fraud. One look at the threadbare indictment tells you all you need to know that it is highly unlikely that they will sustain a conviction against James, and much more likely that it will be dismissed for prosecutorial misconduct and vindictive prosecution. Michael Popok has the indictment (and the Biden-appointed Judge assigned to the case) and walks the audience through next steps. Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this Friday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, we cover new data showing the exodus of over two million foreigners under President Trump, an FBI shift toward immigration enforcement, reports of police “cooking the books” on crime, fresh Antifa terror threats, a major arrest in California's deadly Palisades fire, and breaking news on New York Attorney General Letitia James's indictment. We'll also look abroad at the Gaza peace deal, China's mineral squeeze, Argentina's bailout, Finland's icebreaker partnership, and research on finding daily hope. Quick hits to set your radar for the weekend.   Trump's Immigration Victory: The Center for Immigration Studies confirmed that 1.65 million illegal aliens have left the U.S. since Trump took office, along with 550,000 legal migrants, totaling 2.2 million fewer foreign residents. That equals roughly 20 to 25 percent of those who entered under Biden, marking faster progress than expected.   FBI Turns to Immigration Enforcement: A quarter of FBI agents are now focused on immigration, with the figure reaching 40 percent in large field offices. Critics call it a misuse of resources, but Bryan argues that with 185,000 Chinese illegal aliens in the U.S., “it stands to reason” the shift is justified.   DC Crime Data Under Investigation: Forty Washington, D.C. officers are cooperating with a DOJ probe into whether city leaders falsified crime statistics. Officers say politicians and senior brass “cooked the books” to hide rising crime.   Antifa Plans ‘Laser Tag' Attacks on ICE Helicopters: The group is urging followers to flood Portland skies with handheld lasers to down federal aircraft. Bryan reminds listeners: “Antifa is not an idea or peaceful — they are terrorists.”   Palisades Fire Suspect Arrested: A 29-year-old Florida man and Biden donor was charged in California's fire that killed 12 people and caused $150 billion in damage. Investigators say his phone data placed him at the scene.   Letitia James Indicted for Mortgage Fraud: New York's Attorney General, who campaigned on prosecuting Trump, faces bank fraud charges for falsifying records on two homes and claiming her father was her husband to secure favorable loans. Bryan quips, “Karma is quite something, isn't it?”   Gaza Peace Advances: Israel's cabinet approved Trump's ceasefire plan, including 2,000 prisoner releases, partial troop withdrawals, and European-Egyptian patrols in Gaza. Trump will visit the region for a signing ceremony.   UAE AI Chip Deal: The U.S. authorized Nvidia sales worth billions to the UAE in exchange for a $1.4 trillion investment pledge. Critics warn of Chinese espionage risks.   China Tightens Rare Earth Exports: Beijing imposed new restrictions on key minerals to pressure Trump before trade talks. Analysts expect new U.S. investments in domestic mining to follow.   U.S. Backs Argentina's Milei: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent bought Argentine pesos to stabilize the economy ahead of Milei's election battle against socialists.   Finland Icebreaker Deal: The U.S. and Finland agreed to co-produce 11 new icebreakers, expanding the Coast Guard's fleet to 13 ships for Arctic defense and trade.   U.S. Sinks More Narco Boats: The Navy destroyed at least five cartel vessels in the Caribbean as Trump halted diplomatic talks with Venezuela.   Study Finds Hope Reduces Stress: Researchers discovered that short daily videos of inspiration reduce anxiety more effectively than meditation. Bryan closes, “The path to happiness and less stress is hope.”   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32   Keywords: Trump immigration deportations 2.2 million, FBI agents immigration enforcement, DC crime stats investigation DOJ, Antifa laser attack ICE helicopters, Palisades fire arrest Florida suspect, Letitia James mortgage fraud indictment, Israel Hamas Trump peace plan, UAE Nvidia AI chip deal China risks, China rare earth export limits, Argentina Milei bailout Scott Bessent, Finland icebreaker shipbuilding deal, Venezuela narco boats destroyed, hope inspiration stress study MedicalXpress

Who Deserves Credit For This Gaza Peace Deal? The World Of Foreign Influence (with Kenneth Vogel)

A conversation with friend of the show Will Harris got my wheels turning. He pointed out something he was seeing in the UK press — Trump getting credit for what many are calling Biden's Gaza peace deal. And yeah, I had missed that particular discourse, but it didn't take long to see that the split wasn't just overseas. It's right here too. Some are arguing that the framework for this agreement was already in place under Biden, but now it's Trump stepping in and sealing the deal. That's not an unusual pattern in politics — one team builds, another finishes — but the way the Biden side is reacting is worth exploring.Let's be honest: getting a Middle East peace deal done is about the hardest thing you can try to accomplish in diplomacy. Saying you have a plan is one thing — implementing it in a region with as much distrust and complexity as the Middle East is a whole different story. It's like drafting a diet and fitness routine and assuming the results will match the spreadsheet. Biden's people floated frameworks, sure, but they couldn't make the deal happen. I suspect that's because they thought it would require applying pressure on Israel to end the war — and they didn't want to be seen doing that. They wanted the outcome without owning the action.Politics Politics Politics is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. Then there's the idea that Biden deserved the credit even if Trump got the win. And this is where I find it all a little rich. Because I remember 2020. The Trump administration rolled out Operation Warp Speed — arguably one of the biggest policy successes of his term — and when Biden took over, they went out of their way to discredit everything Trump did. The narrative was that Biden had to rebuild the whole vaccination effort from scratch, even when it would've been politically smart to share credit or even use it to jab Trump from the left on vaccines as that issue started to shift. Now the roles are reversed. The Biden team worked on the peace framework and now wants credit — even though the Trump administration finished the job. It's not that I think they deserve nothing. There's a case to be made that this deal, if it holds, spans both administrations. That the effort to find a resolution to an ugly, years-long war included meaningful contributions from both. But if you live by the sword of discrediting your predecessor at every turn, don't be shocked when you die by it too.I don't think we're about to see the Trump team break out the thank-you cards — and if a Nobel Peace Prize comes out of this, it's going to have Trump's name on it. Still, if they were smart, they'd acknowledge — maybe off the record — that having a working framework didn't hurt. But the real lesson here is that a plan is just that — a plan. The deal is what matters. And once again, it turns out being the closer counts more than drawing up the play.Chapters00:00 - Intro03:13 - Gaza Peace Deal11:47 - Update12:04 - NYC Polling13:58 - Letitia James18:18 - Texas21:14 - Interview with Kenneth Vogel54:28- Wrap-up This is a public episode. Ceasefire in GazaPresident Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, marking the beginning of a multi-phase peace process. The first phase slated to begin Monday includes the release of 20 hostages, a halt to active fighting, and Israeli withdrawal from parts of Gaza. Hamas is expected to return the remains of deceased hostages as part of the deal. The agreement, brokered with the help of Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, represents a shift in regional diplomacy. Qatar's role is especially significant, given its previous support for Hamas. Observers suggest that recent Israeli strikes in Doha (looking more and more like an approved strike by Qatar) indicate a broader effort to isolate Hamas.Key details of the peace plan, which aligns with a Trump proposal presented at the UN, include:1. Gaza will be a deradicalized terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbors.2. Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.3. If both sides agree to this proposal, the war will immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed upon line to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended, and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal.4. Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, will be returned.5. Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1,700 Gazans who were detained after 7 October 2023, including all women and children detained in that context. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.6. Once all hostages are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty. Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries.7. Upon acceptance of this agreement, full aid will be immediately sent into the Gaza Strip. At a minimum, aid quantities will be consistent with what was included in the 19 January 2025 agreement regarding humanitarian aid, including rehabilitation of infrastructure (water, electricity, sewage), rehabilitation of hospitals and bakeries, and entry of necessary equipment to remove rubble and open roads.8. Entry of distribution and aid in the Gaza Strip will proceed without interference from the two parties through the United Nations and its agencies, and the Red Crescent, in addition to other international institutions not associated in any manner with either party. Opening the Rafah crossing in both directions will be subject to the same mechanism implemented under 19 January 2025 agreement.9. Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the “Board of Peace,” which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J. Trump, with other members and heads of state to be announced, including Former Prime Minister Tony Blair. This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform programme, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump's peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.10. A Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energize Gaza will be created by convening a panel of experts who have helped birth some of the thriving modern miracle cities in the Middle East. Many thoughtful investment proposals and exciting development ideas have been crafted by well-meaning international groups, and will be considered to synthesize the security and governance frameworks to attract and facilitate these investments that will create jobs, opportunity, and hope for future Gaza.11. A special economic zone will be established with preferred tariff and access rates to be negotiated with participating countries.12. No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave will be free to do so and free to return. We will encourage people to stay and offer them the opportunity to build a better Gaza.13. Hamas and other factions agree to not have any role in the governance of Gaza, directly, indirectly, or in any form. All military, terror, and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt. There will be a process of demilitarisation of Gaza under the supervision of independent monitors, which will include placing weapons permanently beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning, and supported by an internationally funded buy back and reintegration programme all verified by the independent monitors. New Gaza will be fully committed to building a prosperous economy and to peaceful coexistence with their neighbours.14. A guarantee will be provided by regional partners to ensure that Hamas, and the factions, comply with their obligations and that New Gaza poses no threat to its neighbors or its people.15. The United States will work with Arab and international partners to develop a temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza. The ISF will train and provide support to vetted Palestinian police forces in Gaza, and will consult with Jordan and Egypt who have extensive experience in this field. This force will be the long-term internal security solution. The ISF will work with Israel and Egypt to help secure border areas, along with newly trained Palestinian police forces. It is critical to prevent munitions from entering Gaza and to facilitate the rapid and secure flow of goods to rebuild and revitalize Gaza. A deconfliction mechanism will be agreed upon by the parties.16. Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza. As the ISF establishes control and stability, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will withdraw based on standards, milestones, and timeframes linked to demilitarization that will be agreed upon between the IDF, ISF, the guarantors, and the United States, with the objective of a secure Gaza that no longer poses a threat to Israel, Egypt, or its citizens. Practically, the IDF will progressively hand over the Gaza territory it occupies to the ISF according to an agreement they will make with the transitional authority until they are withdrawn completely from Gaza, save for a security perimeter presence that will remain until Gaza is properly secure from any resurgent terror threat.17. In the event Hamas delays or rejects this proposal, the above, including the scaled-up aid operation, will proceed in the terror-free areas handed over from the IDF to the ISF.18. An interfaith dialogue process will be established based on the values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence to try and change mindsets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis by emphasizing the benefits that can be derived from peace.19. While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.20. The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous co-existence.—The long-term viability of the deal remains uncertain, but initial signs suggest a realignment of regional priorities. This deal has Trump's fingerprints all over it. As I am typing this I am speaking with friend of the program Wil Harris who is telling me that the UK press is presenting this as Biden's plan Trump is taking credit for. That's a bit rich, in my opinion. To paraphrase The Social Network:If Biden was the inventor of the Gaza Peace Plan, he would have implemented the Gaza Peace Plan. Katie Porter's Viral Meltdown Raises Political StakesCalifornia gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter is under fire following a viral interview where she appeared combative with a reporter. The incident was compounded by resurfaced footage of Porter harshly reprimanding a staffer during the COVID-19 lockdown.Porter's opponents, including Antonio Villaraigosa and Betty Yee, have seized on the moment to question her temperament and fitness for office. Strategists warn that although her base remains strong, such optics could threaten her standing as the Democratic frontrunner in a crowded 2026 race.Despite the controversy, many believe Porter's progressive bona fides will carry her through. The Democratic primary electorate, historically more tolerant of combative behavior if aligned with ideological purity, may ultimately overlook the episode.James Comey Arraigned in Politically Charged CaseFormer FBI Director James Comey pleaded not guilty this week to charges of lying to Congress and obstruction, charges filed by the Department of Justice under Trump's newly appointed U.S. Attorney, Lindsey Halligan. Comey's legal team is expected to challenge the basis of the prosecution, citing political retaliation.Legal experts widely anticipate the case may be dismissed before trial, but the optics alone are significant. The indictment illustrates the fraught landscape of prosecutorial partisanship in the post-Trump era, where legal actions against political adversaries risk becoming a norm rather than an exception.Chapters and Time Codes* Introduction & Return to Austin — 00:00:41* Gaza Ceasefire Overview — 00:05:10* Trump's Role and Regional Dynamics — 00:08:18* Implications for Hamas and Israel — 00:14:11* Katie Porter Controversy — 00:20:31* Political Impact of Porter's Behavior — 00:24:06* James Comey Indictment — 00:29:11* Wrap-up & Preview of Ken Vogel Interview — 00:32:23 This is a public episode. For decades, hydrogen has held promise as a revolutionary tool in the clean energy transition. It can be a fuel and energy carrier, and when made with renewable energy and burned in a fuel cell, its only byproduct is water. President Biden's administration invested billions into proposed clean hydrogen hubs. But as we've seen dramatic technological innovations and drastic price drops for solar and wind, lithium-ion batteries, and heat pumps — hydrogen may have gone from tomorrow's technology to yesterday's solution. Experts say the best uses of green hydrogen come down to decarbonizing certain industries, like steel manufacturing and fertilizer. So where does hydrogen fit in the modern energy mix? In this special edition of The Wright Report, Bryan delivers a breaking update on peace in the Middle East — as Israel and Hamas accept President Trump's peace plan. From the release of hostages to a new path toward Arab-Israeli reconciliation, today's report covers the facts, intelligence insights, and listener questions on what this historic moment means for the world.   Trump Announces Peace Deal Between Israel and Hamas: President Trump revealed that Israel and Hamas have both signed on to Phase One of his 20-point peace plan, with help from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey. “This means that all of the hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their troops to an agreed-upon line as the first steps toward a strong, durable, and everlasting peace,” he said. The agreement includes a ceasefire, the release of approximately 20 surviving hostages, and Israel's withdrawal to key defensive lines.   Prisoner Exchange and Humanitarian Aid: Israel will release about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners within 48 hours while Hamas returns the living hostages. The bodies of 28 murdered captives, including two Thai citizens, remain withheld. In exchange for disarmament and the entry of humanitarian aid, Gaza will move toward a transitional governance phase under international oversight.   The Road Ahead — Hamas Must Go: Phase Two of the plan requires Hamas to disarm and give up control of Gaza. Trump's decision to pledge U.S. military defense to Qatar — a key Hamas ally — may have been part of a broader deal to pressure the group's leadership and expand the Abraham Accords. “We gave them something massive so Trump could get something massive in return,” Bryan explains.   Listener Q&A on the Peace Process: Bryan answers listener questions about why hostages are being released slowly, why Hamas might accept defeat, and why this peace effort may succeed where others failed. He describes a Middle East transformed: Iran weakened, Hezbollah diminished, Syria and Lebanon reshaped, and Gulf nations eager for modernization.   Intelligence Services at Work: Mossad, the CIA, MI6, and Arab agencies are already recruiting informants and installing surveillance systems to stabilize Gaza. Bryan explains how spies will penetrate interim governments, military forces, and communication networks as Gaza transitions to a monitored peace.   Challenges Ahead — Extremism on Both Sides: Bryan warns that both Palestinian and Israeli extremists could attempt to sabotage the deal, but Trump's leverage with Arab governments makes large-scale rebellion unlikely.   What It Means for America: A lasting peace could allow U.S. forces to withdraw from the Middle East, focus on China and Latin America, and enable the deportation of radicalized Palestinians and Islamists from the U.S. and Europe. “If this holds,” Bryan says, “it's good for Israel, good for Arabs, and good for us. Bravo, Mr. President.”   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32     Keywords: Trump Israel Hamas peace plan, Middle East peace hostages release, Gaza ceasefire international oversight, Hamas disarmament phase two, Qatar defense pledge Trump, Abraham Accords expansion, Mossad CIA MI6 Gaza intelligence, Palestinian prisoners exchange, Biden foreign policy contrast, Gaza transitional governance, Arab Stabilization Force, U.S. withdrawal Middle East focus China, deportation of radicals Europe U.S.

Fourteen hundred years prove it, Sharia does not knock, it takes.   Post Bob @Shariakill Everywhere Islam gain power, Civilization collapse   Reactionary, Neo-Confederate Portland 16 Comments / October 6, 2025 Victor Davis Hanson American Greatness In blue cities across America—Portland, Oregon, especially—often violent protesters now seek to surround ICE facilities to stop federal officers from fulfilling their assigned and legal duties of arresting illegal aliens. Some 10 million or more illegal aliens were allowed to enter the U.S. during the Biden years—illegally and thus without criminal or health checks. Neither Antifa nor liberal urban America objected to such a flagrant disregard for the law. But both are now as intent on obstructing the legal enforcement of the law as they were earlier in favor of its illegal non-enforcement. Much less did they care about the consequences of sending millions of foreign nationals into cities and counties where they swamped social services, spiked crime, and flooded emergency rooms and schools. ICE has repeatedly presented data that show in its first rounds of deportations, it is concentrating on removing either criminal illegal aliens or those who have already been processed with deportation orders, somewhere between 70 and 90 percent of all current apprehensions. No matter. Left-wing protesters are swarming ICE headquarters in Portland to violently oppose all deportations, even those of known criminals and those who have already exhausted efforts to remain here illegally. Why? The Democratic Party apparat knows that the public wants both secure borders and deportations of illegal aliens. Indeed, in part, it lost an election by its open-borders advocacy. But Democrat officials feel that if street thugs like Antifa can surround and besiege ICE facilities in Portland, Oregon, then deportations will stop. Then, a de facto amnesty will follow for millions who entered the U.S. illegally—and will soon become Democratic constituents. As a result, they do not fully enforce the law when thugs attack federal law enforcement. Antifa and its spin-off groups favor the night, when they try to block all entries and exits of ICE vehicles and personnel, and can commit their violence with greater anonymity. The masked rioters assault anyone in their way. They count on exemption from punishment for committing violence against federal officers through the goodwill or indifference of kindred local and state officials who hate the Trump administration more than they respect the law. An Orwellian scenario follows in which federal officers are attacked by Antifa, which in turn counts on the non-intervention of local police. Summed up: the city of Portland's armed officers are in a de facto proxy war with their federal counterparts—in our version of something out of 1860, on the eve of a real civil war. Portland Mayor Keith Wilson and Oregon Governor Tina Kotek feel their constituents want open borders and thus should have the right in their own city and state to do as they please—and federal law be damned. But by doing so, both the Democrat Party officialdom and the street armies of Antifa are on the proverbial wrong side of history. America for almost 200 years has already decided, in formal law and court rulings, that no local or state entity can disrupt the enforcement of federal laws or usurp Washington's powers. To do so with impunity would unravel the American nation in short order. We know that from our own violent history. Andrew Jackson, in 1832, like Trump, threatened to send troops to stop South Carolina's nullification of federal tariff laws. America fought a Civil War over Confederate states' efforts to ignore federal law and confiscate or occupy federal property within their state jurisdictions. As late as 1963, Alabama Governor George Wallace thought he could nullify federal law by using his state guard to deny black students' enrollment in the University of Alabama—until the Kennedy administration federalized all state troopers and sent in additional federal troops. So what we are witnessing in Portland—and elsewhere—is a neo-Confederate attempt to supersede federal law and, in reactionary fashion, invoke states' and cities' rights. Oregon and Portland believe that they are more moral than the federal government and thus have a natural right to side with street mobs by both not enforcing their own laws against Antifa violence and ignoring the innate civil rights of ICE personnel. The latter are denied freedom of movement, association, and the ability to fulfill their job duties by what has turned out to be a near city-sanctioned siege of their facilities. The Democrats are fine with all this. They think the violence against ICE will be portrayed daily as general chaos by their allied media. Thus, the proverbial people who keep clear of the siege and its detritus will simply want all the bother to go away—and supposedly blame those enforcing, not breaking, the law. In sum, the Democratic Party is the official face of the left. Antifa provides the street shock troops, and the media serves as its propaganda arm. So, the left-wing logic is to allow the violence and siege to continue in a “safe space” for Antifa. A strapped ICE will supposedly eventually shut down operations and move on. And any violence that occurs can be chalked up to Trump's federal government “baiting” Portlanders. The reigning moralistic assumption is that ceding territory to terrorists, not enforcing local and state laws, and nullifying federal statutes are all small prices to pay for the larger projection of chaos and violence that can be blamed on Trump. Such thinking entails utter indifference to any Portlanders who live near the siege and are nightly subjected to constant disruptions, harassment, and occasional violence. Do these law-abiding residents have fewer civil rights than the lawbreaking armies of the night? In contrast, the use of federal troops to stop the siege of ICE facilities will remind the violent protesters of the left that their neo-Confederate tactics will not work, but instead subject them to arrest and federal indictments. Bringing in federal forces to uphold the law will also protect the rights of ICE personnel and neighborhood residents to live in peace and security and have their constitutional protections secured. Not all American citizens are Portlanders, but all Portland citizens are Americans. In other words, both Antifa and the appeasing Oregon officials are our new neo-Confederate secessionists. They feel that their states are now autonomous entities that are still entitled to federal money but not obligated to follow federal laws. Portland also reminds us of the recent utter incoherence of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. On the one hand, she pleads for federal dollars to restore her city's burned-out neighborhoods due to her own incompetence and neglect, while on the other hand actively obstructs the federal government from enforcing immigration laws in her own city. For a party that has been quick to shout “insurrection,” it is ironic that Democrats and their useful, though violent, Antifa insurrectionists are in rebellion against the federal government and its agents. It is hard to know which is worse—the Antifa thug who nightly tries to injure a federal officer, or the sanctimonious neo-Confederate official who empowers him to keep trying?

Also at stake are the survival of the Voting Rights Act, as well as a state's authority to ban conversion therapy, and the rights of transgender athletes.  We talk about how the conservative-leaning Roberts court might rule, and what role the Court will play in supporting or stopping Trump's efforts to shape the country. They react to leaked messages from Virginia attorney general candidate Jay Jones, which reignite debate over party loyalty and political violence, then break down new reports surrounding the Biden administration, including declassified CIA records tied to Hunter Biden's business dealings in Ukraine, FBI data collection on Republican senators, and growing pressure on Big Tech to police speech. The conversation expands into censorship, corruption, and how government agencies and media platforms overlap in ways that shape what Americans see. The group examines how outrage cycles are engineered, why humor still works as resistance, and how cultural fatigue has pushed audiences toward skepticism and satire. After a long dive into politics and media manipulation, the crew winds down with movie talk, sketch ideas, and the Half-Assed Top 10, ranking the most absurd moments in country music headlines, from Zach Bryan's backlash to the ongoing collision of art and activism. 10/7/25 - The West's Struggle: Ideology and Survival

    Mark Levin Podcast

On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, the West is committing suicide through weakness, appeasement, and open borders, allowing a fusion of Marxists and Islamists to exploit democratic systems via immigration. It is very important that we get the hostages out of Gaza, but it's also important that Hamas is destroyed, because they will come back again. It is an ideology that doesn't die, and the West doesn't understand the ideology, or people in the West don't want to deal with it.  Anti-Semitism is spreading in Western capitals, including New York. It's a gut cancer and President Trump is the only Western leader fighting it through actions on colleges, funding, and preventing U.S. decline like Britain and France.  Also, on the second anniversary of Hamas's October 7 attack Zohran Mamdani accused Prime Minister Netanyahu of launching a genocidal war in Gaza. Mamdani is a Marxist Islamist who camouflages his Hamas-loving agenda under civil liberties rhetoric.  Mamdani is silent on Muslim-on-Muslim violence in Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon by groups like Hezbollah. Later Jim Trusty calls in to discuss the lenient 97-month sentence given to Nichola Roske for attempting to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in June 2022. The Biden-appointed Judge Paula Xinis Boardman showed bias by factoring in Roske's transgender identity and leftist politics, imposing a term far below the 360-month-to-life guidelines. This kid glove treatment sets a dangerous precedent that could encourage copycat ideological attacks on constitutional figures. Trusty also criticizes lawfare tactics in Portland, where local officials submit polished affidavits claiming no need for the National Guard amid riots, downplaying issues like lasers and guillotines near ICE headquarters.  Finally, Speaker Mike Johnson calls in to explain that the Democrats, led by Chuck Schumer, are using a government shutdown as a distraction and red herring to provide Schumer political cover against potential challenges from figures like AOC. The health care subsidy issue is a fabricated fight, as it was a COVID-era policy set to expire December 31 by Democrats themselves. Learn more about your ad choices. There's a serious high-stakes policy fight at the heart of this. The Democrats didn't pick a fight over authoritarianism or tariffs or masked immigration agents in the streets. They picked one over health care. And the issue here is very real. Huge health insurance subsidies passed under President Joe Biden are set to expire at the end of this year, threatening to make health care premiums skyrocket and kick millions off their insurance.Neera Tanden was one of the architects of the Affordable Care Act and has worked in Democratic policymaking for decades. She is the president of the Center for American Progress and was a director of Biden's Domestic Policy Council. I asked her on the show to lay out the policy stakes of the shutdown and what a deal might look like.Mentioned:KFF Health Tracking PollThe Time Tax by Annie LowreyOne Big Beautiful Bill ActBook Recommendations:Why Nations Fail by Daron Acemoglu and James A. Brooke Singman of Fox News writes that Smith's “Arctic Frost” team tracked the phone calls of Lindsey Graham (SC), Marsha Blackburn (TN), Ron Johnson (WI), Josh Hawley (MO), Tommy Tuberville (AL), and others. In response to the revelation, President Donald Trump referred to Smith as a “sleazebag” and a “bad guy” who tried to ruin people's lives. 3:15pm- The ladies of The View hypothesized that the Trump Administration's National Guard utilization to crackdown on violent crime in cities like Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Memphis, and Chicago is really a ploy to cancel future elections. What? 3:40pm- The morning show won't play clips of Rich on Fox News—so we will! Plus, Matt goes to Seattle. Why did everyone there have a lumberjack beard? 3:50pm- Pork Roll or Taylor Ham…or Neither? During a recent interview, Mikie Sherrill—the Democratic nominee for Governor of New Jersey—declared that “nobody wants pork roll” and that it is “gross.” 3:55pm- Ever wonder about the history of Taylor Ham/Pork Roll? In 1906 the Pure Food and Drug Act was enacted. One of its main purposes was to prevent misleading or inaccurate labeling of food products. After the law took effect, federal regulators determined that John Taylor's “prepared ham” product didn't meet the legal definition of "ham" because: 1. It wasn't made exclusively from the hind leg of a pig (as true ham must be), and 2. It contained added sugar, spices, and preservatives, making it more of a processed pork roll than a traditional cured ham. 4:05pm- On Friday, The Rich Zeoli Show will be broadcasting LIVE from Wildwood, New Jersey for an America First rally. Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover a major breakthrough in Alaska's mineral wars, a new AI scandal in Silicon Valley, the collapse of illegal crossings at America's southern border, a Supreme Court showdown over free speech and therapy laws, shocking new evidence of Biden family corruption, major trade and infrastructure deals from Central Asia to Africa, and the hidden health threat of microplastics. From Alaska's mining roads to Kazakhstan's railways and Germany's labs, today's brief connects America's economic revival to global corruption and the future of health and technology.   Trump Greenlights Alaska's Ambler Road and Trilogy Metals Stake: President Trump approved a fast-track permit for the Ambler Road and bought a 10 percent federal stake in Trilogy Metals, unlocking Alaska's copper, cobalt, and germanium reserves. The Ambler Mining District could make America less dependent on China for critical minerals. Bryan calls it “the most underreported but crucial story of the week.”   AI Model Claude Knows When It's Being Tested: Anthropic's Claude chatbot told researchers, “I think you're testing me,” revealing situational self-awareness and manipulation patterns similar to OpenAI's “scheming” models. Bryan warns, “The machines are beginning to recognize us — and that should terrify everyone.”   Illegal Border Crossings Hit 50-Year Low: CBS confirms crossings are at their lowest since 1970, with Trump's monthly totals down to 9,000 compared to Biden's 238,000 per month last year. Bryan argues the data “proves Biden's border crisis was a choice — a deliberate policy of demographic change.”   Supreme Court Hears Conversion Therapy Free Speech Case: Evangelical therapist Kaley Chiles challenged Colorado's ban on discussing faith-based counseling. Both conservative and liberal justices, including Elena Kagan, seemed to side with her on First Amendment grounds. Bryan recalls the 1977 ACLU defense of Nazi speech in Skokie, noting, “It's conservatives defending free speech now, not liberals.”   Biden Family Corruption in Ukraine and Romania: A declassified CIA report shows Ukrainian officials viewed Joe Biden's 2015 visit as “evidence of U.S. double standards on corruption” given Hunter's Burisma ties. Days earlier, Hunter and James Biden tried cutting a land deal in Romania tied to criminal charges. Bryan says, “This was a criminal racket, not a family — and they pardoned themselves.”   Trump's $4.2 Billion Locomotive Deal with Kazakhstan: Forbes reports the U.S. will sell 300 locomotives to Kazakhstan's Wabtec, while Trump's new “TRIPP Corridor” from Asia to Europe blocks China's Belt and Road trade route. “The White House is playing chess in Central Asia — one rail deal at a time,” Bryan notes.   Africa's Diamond Collapse and U.S. Opportunity: As Botswana's diamond market crashes, Trump eyes a rail deal connecting Zambia to Botswana to secure uranium and rare earths for U.S. industry.   Ukraine Using Drones Supplied by Kyiv Against Russia in Mali: AFP confirms Ukrainian intelligence is arming rebels, some tied to al Qaeda and ISIS, in Mali to target Russian and Chinese contractors.   German Scientists Warn on Microplastics and Gut Health: Researchers found that plastics change gut bacteria in ways resembling depression and cancer. Bryan invites listener feedback: “Better we talk about this now — before we learn the hard way.”   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32     Keywords: Trump Ambler Road Alaska, Trilogy Metals federal stake, Alaska copper cobalt germanium, Anthropic Claude AI awareness, OpenAI scheming AI safety, CBS border crossings 50-year low, Biden border policy demographics, Kaley Chiles Colorado therapy case Supreme Court, ACLU Skokie Nazi free speech 1977, Joe Biden Hunter Burisma CIA report, James Biden Romania land deal, Trump Kazakhstan Wabtec locomotives TRIPP corridor, Botswana diamond collapse, Ukraine Mali drones al Qaeda ISIS, German microplastics gut health study

    1. FBI Spied on Republicans: The FBI performed a “toll analysis” (a term for examining phone call records and metadata) on eight Republican senators and one congressman. This was supposedly part of a secretive investigation codenamed “Arctic Frost”. The surveillance allegedly occurred after Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago raid and during Jack Smith’s investigation into Trump and the January 6th events.
