The Army has honored three of the Parkland school shooting victims posthumously with the Medal of Heroism: Peter Wang, Martin Duque, and Alaina Petty. The three students were all apart of the JROTC at Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS and demonstrated extreme courage in the face of the shooting last Tuesday. Wang was also honored with a posthumous admission to West Point, he would have been Class of 2025.
In a milestone episode that happens to follow a horrible tragedy, Andrew talks about and shares the story of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and of the heroes of that day the teachers and staff who did what they could and put their lives on the line to save their students. This episode is part 1 of a 2-part story on the heated gun control debate in America. The 2nd part will be on next week’s episode 26.
