Ministr školství Robert Plaga spolu s dalšími vládními politiky otevřel debatu o zásadních změnách, od podoby letních prázdnin a přijímaček přes zákaz mobilů na školách až po možné zrušení devátých tříd. Některé návrhy se ukázaly jako vypuštěné balonky, jiné Babišova vláda myslí vážně. Co by jednotlivé změny znamenaly pro děti, rodiče i samotné školy? Ve Studiu N odpovídá psycholožka Vlaďka Bartáková. Kratší prázdniny, zákaz mobilů a konec devítek? „Nevím, proč se takhle utrhli ze řetězu. Každý střílí od boku něco jiného,“ komentuje Vlaďka Bartáková sérii návrhů vládních politiků. Stát by podle ní měl při změnách, které se dotýkají dětí a rodičů, srozumitelně vysvětlovat, co skutečně plánuje, a ne rozvíjet debaty na Facebooku. „Nemají snad na ministerstvu školství odbor, který má komunikovat témata, na kterých pracují?“ upozorňuje Bartáková na chybějící strategickou komunikaci. „Jako psycholožka v rámci krizí bych potřebovala, aby stát komunikoval a vytvářel bezpečí, a ne ohrožení. Co na to mám říct? Takhle ne.“ Velkou bouři na sociálních sítích způsobil během prázdnin ministr Plaga nejasným dumáním nad délkou letních prázdnin. Později vysvětloval, že se jejich podoba zatím měnit nebude. Dva měsíce volna jsou podle psycholožky pro děti důležité kvůli regeneraci i přirozenému vývoji. „Ke zregenerování je potřeba víc než jeden týden. V čase, kdy nemusí být v institucionálním drilu, mají často možnost vyrůst jiným způsobem,“ vysvětluje. „Pokud jste rodiče, naschvál se podívejte, s jakou velikostí bot vaše děti vystupovaly ze školy a jakou budete potřebovat po prázdninách.“ Podle Bartákové navíc podobné nápady přicházejí pro rodiče v nejhorší možnou chvíli. „Když jste rodič, musíte myslet daleko dopředu. V lednu už například nakupujete příměstské tábory na léto.“ Apeluje proto na politiky, aby během prázdnin nestříleli od boku nápady, které v rodinách jen vyvolávají nejistotu. Dnešní děti a dospívající navíc podle ní vyrůstají pod výrazně větší psychickou zátěží než předchozí generace. Vedle klimatické krize a dalších náročných informací, ke kterým se dostávají prostřednictvím technologií, jsou podle ní vystavené také systémům sociálních sítí, které útočí na jejich přirozené psychologické mechanismy. Politici by proto podle ní měli místo moralizování dětí a rodičů tlačit na regulaci firem, které tyto technologie vytvářejí. „Jsme hozeni do hořící kádě a musím říkat dětem, aby se nespálily. Já ale potřebuju, aby v té kádi už nehořelo,“ říká. Překvapil ji proto návrh na plošný zákaz mobilů ve školách. Podle Bartákové už školy mají nástroje, jak používání telefonů regulovat samy – prostřednictvím školních řádů a pravidel, která mohou společně s dětmi nastavovat. Introduction What happens to a company that has run two hundred proofs of concept and still cannot point to one that paid for itself? Rafael Broshi says that is roughly where financial services sits after two years of generative AI experimentation, and he does not think the models are the reason. Broshi has an unusual vantage point on this. He built a brand new insurance product, took it to the admitted market, watched it fail to find buyers, and rebuilt his company around the software his team had written to run it. In this episode he walks host Joshua R. Hollander through why demos survive and production launches do not, what has to be written down before a process can be automated at all, and where an AI agent should never be allowed to improvise. Guest Bio Rafael Broshi is co-founder and CEO of Notch, an AI platform for building and deploying agents inside highly regulated industries. He spent nearly ten years in the Israeli military, as did both of his co-founders, and the three of them started Notch about five years ago as something else entirely: a specialty product insuring digital assets including crypto and social media accounts, launched in the admitted market across 47 states with Hartford Steam Boiler. That product did not find a market. The platform the team built to run their own MGA became the company. Notch now deploys agents across customer experience, claims intake, document ingestion, and underwriting workflows for insurers, banks, and asset managers, and is backed by Lightspeed, Jibe Ventures, Munich Re Ventures, and Phoenix.
