Zipp caught up with Saint Motel Drummer Greg Erwin recently at the band's (fabulous!) show in Columbus, Ohio. When we arrived, the band was in soundcheck getting ready for a sold-out show that evening. A Zipp ambassador, Greg had just finished a long bike ride shortly before we recorded this podcast. If you're a fan of music or cycling, you'll love Greg's passionate approach to both. He'll also introduce you a few of Saint Motel's stylish and imaginative songs. The band's sound could be described as energetic and stylish. As for bikes, Greg will explain why cycling keeps his life in balance, especially while on the road on his Zipp 303s.
Lead guitarist Greg Erwin & Lead Singer Maggie Noel of Magnolia Boulevard paid us a visit this week. They share some stories of what Todd Copeland meant to them as a friend and band-mate. Greg shares about the moment guitar changed his life. Maggie gives some backstory of how the band came to be. Also some tales from the road...some are spooky...omfg IG @insecurityblanketpod @trinabeancomedy @lowkeydicktater @sturgie_artanddesign @bassmobile39 Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/insecurityblanket?fan_landing=true youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCk6kN6YLGgyT8rY_I6wKz7A
How about some rock and roll? Greg Erwin is the drummer for Saint Motel, and a buddy of Taylor Phinney. He joins Bobby and Gus to talk about how he got into cycling, and how bringing a bike on tour keeps him healthy mentally and physically. And Gus also explains the 21/90 rule of forming habits. It's time to Put Your Socks On.

On this episode of Athletes Unfiltered, we’ll speak to three athletes who asked themselves, “How did I get here?” We’ll introduce you to Mimi Anderson, who was a normal British housewife – until she ran across the Sahara Desert. We’ll speak to Greg Erwin, who was touring the world as a rock drummer, but realized what he really wanted to do was ride his bike. And we’ll introduce you to Ayesha McGowan, who went from chasing cars on her fixie, to chasing a dream of becoming the first ever African-American pro female road racer.
