Selling your products on Instagram can be difficult, especially when you don't know where to start. It's even harder to figure out how to sell your product if it is only available locally! A listener of the Passion In Business Podcast recently asked how they can modify their Instagram strategy if they were selling an expensive-to-ship and only-available-locally product. Listen to this episode of the podcast to find out the three different ways that you can optimize your Instagram account and marketing strategy to sell products on Instagram locally!
This episode of the Passion In Business Podcast is a Q&A based on a question submitted by Marcine (@artworksbymarcine) who is a listener of the show! Marcine asks whether it's better to post hashtags directly in the caption of a post that she's publishing, or if they should go in the first comment. Listen to this episode of the podcast to find out how you should be publishing your hashtags on your Instagram post.
There are a lot of business owners running into the same problem when it comes to growing their following on Instagram -- and that's having the wrong people following them. If you have other businesses following you, or people who obviously are not a part of your target audience then there are a few things you can do to make that shift to getting the right type of people to follow you. I'll lay out what you may be doing wrong and how to fix it in this episode of the Passion In Business Podcast.
When you publish new posts on your Instagram account you then proceed to add hashtags either to the caption or comment in hopes that someone somewhere in the world will see it and be inspired to check out your account and follow you. But the real question is: how do hashtags actually work? When you add them to your post, how exactly do they help you gain more exposure and (hopefully) get your target audience to your account? This episode of the Passion In Business Podcast will lay out, step by step, how hashtags work and also what it might mean if they aren't working -- even if you do add them to your post caption or comment.
As business owners, we aren't clocking in and out like we would at a full or part time job... because we aren't working full or part time positions. Being an entrepreneur is an "ALL TIME" title and demands a lot of time and energy from the other areas of our lives (for example: family, religion, personal care, etc). And somehow we still love what we do! With such busy schedules, it can be incredibly difficult to find time to add in tasks like Instagram marketing and building a following on a new platform we aren't used to. In this episode of the Passion In Business Podcast, I want to talk about how we can add Instagram marketing to our daily schdules and fit it into our lives -- without having to give up more time with our families, religions, or (heaven forbid!) personal care. Learn how to have time for Instagram marketing even if you already have a fully booked schedule in this episode.
HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIEND! Every year I tend to take a short break from podcasting, generally around the holidays and the month of December. I don't always plan for this to happen! Somehow every year personal stuff comes up around this time, on top of the normal holiday craziness, so I always end up deciding to take a short break from creating content. I definitely don't like taking breaks because I love to record podcasts and connect with people in my audience! Sometimes we just need a break and have to prioritize other areas of our lives so that we can get right back at the grind afterwards -- and I think that's ok! Needless to say, I am very excited to bring back the Passion In Business Podcast and start putting out regular content again. Hope you enjoy and thank you for your patience with the lack of episodes if you've been a long time listener!!

This session is the introduction to the season in its entirety. In this session, we cover what the very first season of the Passion In Business Podcast is all about and how you can benefit from it. I spent a lot of time trying to decide on the perfect topic for the kick off of the seasonal format for this podcast — and after a lot of deliberating, Instagram seemed to be it! I have a huge passion for Instagram and using it to not only help me build my business, but to help others be able too as well. After a lot of trial and error I have been able to (over time) learn the ins and outs of Instagram and the incredible benefit of attracting your own target audience there… no matter what industry you are in. I love turning skeptics into Instagram converts and if you listen to this season that is sure to happen to you too! That’s my goal anyway. (:
After taking a much needed break from podcasting (not necessarily from burn out), this is an introduction and evaluation on where the Passion In Business Podcast should be going. I have done a lot of research and thought about what kind of podcast I want to host -- all the way down to how I want my audience to feel. And the problem with the current state of my podcast was that it wasn't living up to my own expectations. So some changes are going to be made! This episode is all about the pivot that is happening for the Passion In Business Podcast and why they are being made as well. Sometimes as entrepreneurs and business owners we have to take a step back and think about what we want and how we are going to reach our goals. Often we find that we even have to completely change the path that we are on to make those goals a reality. Listen to this quick 15 minute episode on why I took a break from publishing episodes, the new changes that are going to happen, and why switching things up a bit is sometimes a good thing!
