In this episode we talk with Jonny Holt about Youth Ministry in a Small Town Context. Jonny shares the unique opportunities and challenges in Small Town Youth Ministry. He shares his churches long term strategy on developing and growing a strong Youth Ministry. This is a great Episode, even for those in a City or Urban Context. Here's a little bit more about Jonny Holt. Jonny is Assistant and Youth Pastor at LivingWaters Church in Chorley. Married to Rebekah they have one son Jacob. Jonny’s background involves 13 years working with the young people in his local church. Recently he has taken on the role as North West Regional Leader for Serious4God where he hopes to be able to serve and encourage many of the great youth workers in the region. Alongside LivingWaters, he has worked for the last 12 years as a software developer. More specifically the last 5 years have seen him heavily involved in the work of CCPAS (Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service), who exist and specialise in safeguarding youth, children and vulnerable adults throughout the UK.
