An interview with Stuart Chorley. Stuart is 70 years old and raced at Hyrox last week. We had a great chat about training motivation when your best times are behind you and focusing on enjoying the journey instead of fixating on targets. A good listen for anyone that wants to be fit and healthy into their later years. Season 5 - Episode 37: Getting to the ghostiesNamaste everybody – I'm taking a short rest from Clinton Vs Ramone to bring you episode 37 - You can't say I don't treat you! Well friends – she had me at hello, it's lovely Linda Pollock. Last week she let us all know she was looking for jobs – and she's back with some ‘irons in the fire' – but I must say, it all seems a bit secretive. Let's hope Linda isn't doing anything dodgy and she's going to be a secret spy! This week we hear from Paranormal researchers in York. They received an email about some poltergeist activity in a home – and despite thinking it was a prank, I went to check it out. Without giving too much away, the spirits definitely showed themselves… and it wasn't what anyone expected… Darren James, from Darwin Library theatre, also joins me to let us in on a spooky situation he had in a previous job as a youth worker. He took the children on a residential with an abandoned room – even the owner refused to go inside – but these kids we're fearless and decided to check it out. But what happened next was really rather spooky! And we read some advice from a modern-day fortune teller– and I must say, some of them chat a lot of Showaddywaddy. I'd like to think me, and Linda have lived a little – so email us with your problems and we'll try sort them on the podcast! All this PLUS Barry's ASMR (as promised), more guests from Chorley theatre, and we have a little chat about life on tour… Fading now… Thanks to: Katherine Boyle and Barry from Watford Ian Robinson and Shaun Duxbury at Chorley Theatre Darren James at Darwin Library Theatre Podcast producer extraordinaire, Laurie Peters, at Peters-Fox ----- Clinton Baptiste appears courtesy of Goodnight Vienna Productions ----- By signing up to www.patreon.com/clintonbaptiste you hear this podcast ad-free each week, that's ONE WHOLE WEEK before anyone else - and a whole lot MORE including access to my CLINTON BAPTISTE TV™ SHOW every single month! Season 5 - Episode 34: P - P - P - Podcast 34!!! Namaste friends. Another Friday, another bloody paranormal podcast – and we've got plenty in store for you all. So get comfy, relax, and get ready for the spookiness that is… Episode 34. Stick the bloody spooky music on already Linda! Linda ‘lightweight' Pollack is back and she's feeling slightly ‘delicate'. Unlike Linda, I've given up the drink – and it's all for you lot! I've given it up to fit into my snazzy tour outfits… you're welcome. We talk nights out, odd couples, and beer fear - Do let us know of any beer fear stories you have – especially if it's led to anything spooky! You guessed it – the P…P…Public Service Section is back. This time we hear from Claire, a nurse, who has a haunted hospital story that I bet is going to leave you with a few goosebumps – we get Claire on the phone, and she shares her most spooky encounters and BLIMEY, she's seen some flipping scary things… And I spent some time with Comedian, Jack Campbell, this week! He tells us all about when he lived in a Victorian house with his EX-girlfriend – she was obsessed with having a spooky house – and poor Jack got barely any sleep! I couldn't have started the tour and not of had Ramone on the show! I managed to get some backstage footage from our show in Chorley – and as you can all imagine, Ramone was his happy, bubbly, wonderful self… NOT. All this plus your ‘spooky' skype calls, costume fittings, and of course a Barry white sing out… Fading now… Fading… Thanks to: Katherine Boyle Claire Grand Jack Campbell Lewis MacLeod & Brendan O'Hea Podcast producer extraordinaire Laurie Peters at Peters-Fox ----- Clinton Baptiste appears courtesy of Goodnight Vienna Productions ----- By signing up to www.patreon.com/clintonbaptiste you hear this podcast ad-free each week, that's ONE WHOLE WEEK before anyone else - and a whole lot MORE including access to my CLINTON BAPTISTE TV™ SHOW every single month! Taylor Payne hosts your go-to Newcastle United podcast with Senior Writer George Caulkin and club correspondent Chris Waugh.Newly promoted Bournemouth came to St James's Park with a predictable gameplan, but Eddie Howe's Newcastle side were unable to break down the low block despite having the lion's share of possession. We examine our own frustration and try to figure out if it's justified. It was a similar story for Newcastle's women at Kingston Park, Chorley providing a stumbling block one again. There's an international break for the men now, with the real prospect of Nick Pope starting in goal for England, and we should at least one important attacking player back to face Fulham in October.Important Note: no Georges were harmed in the making of this podcast.
