I know your daughter saw you smoking outside but I was wondering when do I talk to my young kids about cannabis. My husband and I both use it for different reasons, I use it mainly for my pain control and anxiety. Where as my husband starting turning to medicinal cannabis instead of his prescription pills. He was injured while serving in he military and suffered severe head trauma. I am happy to report that he is happy and much healthier then when he was taking prescription meds. EPISODE 60 Q. I’ve been a cannabis smoker about 4 years now. Tried it for my diagnosed anxiety instead of taking all the Prozac, Zoloft type of medications I was prescribed. I’ve never had a problem with smoking marijuana and the effects until recently. Blue dream and northern lights being the strains I’m most comfortable with and smoke the most often, I’ve been starting to get really nauseous even after smoking just a blunt. When I am used to smoking up to maybe 4 blunts a day along with several bowls... I’m wondering what could be causing this.. it doesn’t matter what strain it is it’s inevitable to happen. I have no idea if you will even have a clue but I’ve been watching your videos for so long and notice you and I have some similarities I was wondering if you ever experienced this or know what could be the problem. EPISODE 52 Q: I'm 25 and have dealt with anxiety for most of my life. I've also had terrible depressive episodes since I've turned 20. Sometimes cannabis helps with the symptoms, but a lot of times it makes them worse. I've learned to stay away from sativas and I smoke a LOT of CBD. I guess my question is, do you still take the anti-anxiety/depression medication now that you regularly smoke? If you have, have you ever smoked without taking the medication? Is there a difference? I'm debating taking a low dose for my anxiety to see if it helps at all, but I don't know how smoking and taking medication is going to mix. Thank you so much! EPISODE 46 Q: I have the problem of living in a state that does not support legal cannabis use. It has been passed medically but ONLY for severe epilepsy. As someone who uses cannabis for mental health reasons, it is hard to educate people about it in a state that does not support it legally. Recently, my family found out about my cannabis use and do not approve (they found out accidentally. Cannabis use is something I keep very private).They are very conservative and since they do not have the proper education, they are very closed minded and judgmental. They don't see that I am someone who is very productive, have a great job(that I have had for 5 years now) am very responsible, and have been the happiest I have ever been in the last year since using cannabis. I am wondering what you would think is the best way to talk about this subject to family who already have a negative view about it since it is considered illegal in our state.
