Keep in mind this is a little risky because your chopping up a $1000 harness. If you attempt this, do so at your own risk. The parts list below is not complete but it will give you some general guidance in the direction I went. You will need all the fasteners and “fixin’s” to go with the parts blow. I am floored by the difference this made. Why was it not like this from the factory? Before I was always just on guard from letting this bike kill me. It’s now a tamed beast. Like drew said the cam builds power slower but its still all there, just when I want it to be now, in all turning positions, and buttery smooth. We have done extensive mods to the 450L, but this should have been our first mod, and it should be yours as well. Before you spend big money on other mods like the vortex. I believe a bone stock 450L with this cable and cam mod with some proper dirt tires should be considered stage one if your looking to transform your bike with less than $300.
