Born in 1975 into the Children of God cult, Monique is the eldest of 13 siblings, child labor in the form of begging on the streets, public performances & hard labor, she lived a transient life, traveling the world inside the international cult. Backsliding at 19 years old, with her 2 week old baby girl, she received her GED and started on an education path immediately. Being able to access therapy programs and self-care, she successfully completed a 17 year career in the biopharmaceutical industry. In 2014, Monique began launching entrepreneurial businesses and philanthropic programs as a Thriver, seeking to assist others on their own path out of exploitation, human trafficking and cults.
