James 1:23-25 (Getting Out of Your Head)
Bonus Episode: James 5:7-11
James 1:19-21 (Glorifying God in your Thinking, Speaking, and Anger)
Today’s sermon looks at the reasons that we sin and the tendency we have to blame others (maybe even God) for things that come into our lives to tempt us. What we find today is that temptation is something that starts in the heart, and if you let it have its way, will produce death and destruction in your life. We hope you enjoy today’s message and we pray that God will challenge, encourage, and bring you joy.
James 1:9-12
What does it mean to have joy during trials? How can we ask God for understanding when bad things happen? Today's message shows how James addressed these questions as he wrote to the persecuted church. I pray that this message brings you joy and encouragement in Christ.

In today's sermon, Brother Mack focuses on the fact that salvation only can be found in Christ. The reality of Christmas is that God sent His Son to die for all that would repent and believe. This is a message of joy. It is also a message that must be shared. May God use His word to bring you renewed joy and boldness to go share! Sermon Preached @ Friendship Baptist Church...Metcalf, GA on 12/15/19
How should we respond when God answers our prayers in a different way than what we expected?
This world is not our home, but we are to represent Christ not only in our personal relationships, but also to the governmental authorities that God has placed over us.
So many people want God to change their situation, but what do you do if your situation never changes? The answer is that faithfulness and Godliness doesn't depend on your situation... it depends on you.
