Human beings possess the ability to impact the world around us through simply applying our minds. The problem is that we usually apply linear thinking to a non-linear world; so imagine the possibilities if we simply Curve our Thoughts and then see what happens.

So for today we delve into the race to the summit of the ANC. The players involved, the strategies deployed and the possible outcomes of the ANC Elective Conference to elect new ANC leadership. Also discussed was the newly published book 'Kill Zuma by any means necessary' by Gayton Mckenzie. Why I suspect the book is largely a farce and what it's publication tells us of the state of affaairs within the Status Quo faction of the ANC. Gayton Mckenzie's new book Zuma says that western government's plot his downfall Zweli Mkhize's Unity Push ANC KZN Court Case ANC Free State Court Case ANC North West Courst Case ANC Eastern Cape Court Case Lack of confidence in ANC, so keeping status quo may be dangerous Curved Thought Youtube My Twitter Curved Thought Facebook As always, if you enjoyed this content. Today I talk about how nuance seems to have flown the coop in recent years. We now deal almost exclusively in absolutes and moreover are unable to even see value in the words of those whom disagree with us. This binary thinking seems to be something which overrides even the best intentions, but it can be dealt with if we apply our minds correctly inwards. It's hard work but the payoff is almost always worth it. A discussion between myself and Richard Sjoberg [@DeMoNiKZA] Richard is a musician, video game journalist and gay man (which matters for the upcoming conversation). We discuss being yourself and the various forms that can take. Whilst acknowledging the ways the world tries to circumvent that process. This obviously touches upon religion, culture, societal norms as well as mere expectations from others. There is something about morality that seems to lead back to an absolute source, so it is often difficult to separate moral decisions from our beliefs about their origins. I think I'll be talking about this for a while so this is sort of like the preamble. https://soundcloud.com/curvedthought https://twitter.com/Snare https://www.facebook.com/curvedthought/ This podcast is powered by Pinecast.

A conversation between @Snare & @guidancek A Christian and an Athiest attempting to have a civil conversation. The former intending to change minds and the latter attempting to raise questions. This exchange began on Facebook where it could have become a mess. Instead, we will see how messy it will or won't become through an actual conversation. Where we will reason in real time to see if we find any positive headway in the space between our views. So politely, and in complete disagreement, this was us reasoning in public.
