For this Appalachian Trail FKT, I realized I have to become one with the thru-hiker. That means mud baths, tarp life, eating with my hands, and yes—training while also working a remote job from the literal woods. This episode is a stitched-together recap of my second big training camp, where I logged over 300 miles and 80,000 feet of vert in the hardest terrain the AT has to offer.I kick things off with a midnight arrival in Bangor and a 2.7-mile walk to my hotel (because, of course, there were no Ubers). From there, it's all rain, roots, bugs, busted toes, and resupply strategy. I test out nearly every piece of gear I plan to use on the FKT—including my hilariously short sleeping bag and a tarp that may or may not survive the Whites. I hike through mud pits, scale ladders, eat questionable trail food, and rediscover the terrifying beauty of the Kennebec River—the same one I swam across back in 2016 like an idiot.Along the way, I also get an infected toe, limp into urgent care covered in dirt, try not to scare Ivy League joggers with my homeless-looking setup, and wrestle with one of my biggest fears: talking to people in small-town resupply stores.This camp wasn't about big miles (although I still hit plenty). It was about dialing in the uncomfortable stuff—nutrition, logistics, clothing, sleep strategy, and reminding myself just how hard this trail really is. In the same way that WE THE PEOPLE means every person, not just ‘white people', thus implying that the ‘others' are not people, Juneteenth celebrates segregation by creating two separate independence days for American citizens, black and white, in the name of freedom. In the USA it is next to impossible to find a leader who actually represents their own people and not some other people, or the interests of some lobby or foreign government. Democrats care about Muslims, Blacks, and LGBTQ while Republicans care about Jews and Whites. What about WE THE PEOPLE regardless of skin or theology? Take Ted Cruz for example, who recently admitted his dual loyalty and treason: “I came into Congress thirteen years ago with the stated intention of being the leading defender of Israel in the United States Senate.” He reasoned: “Those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed.” Since Israel comes from late Latin and Greek from Hebrew Yiśrā'ēl, meaning ‘he that strives with God', then all humans are God's people, not a singular master race. The All Whites had their best win in more than a decade when they beat a country ranked 45 places higher than them in the world rankings on Sunday. The one nil victory over the world number 41 Ivory Coast was New Zealand's first win over a team ranked that high since 2010. Gus T. Renegade gives counter-racist analysis on the 5th day of the Sade C. Robinson murder trial in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. More than a year after the murder and dismemberment of the 19-year-old black teen, Suspected Racist Maxwell Anderson is accused of arson, dismemberment, hiding a corpse and homicide. The opening of second week of the trial included detailed analysis of surveillance footage from Sade Anderson and Maxwell Anderson's visits to Twisted Fisherman and Duke's - two local White-owned bars. At no time does anyone card 19-year-old Sade. In fact, the bartenders ply her with shots of liquor and beers all night long. They leave one bar only to visit another bar to play beer pong and guzzle down more liquor. The last time Sade Robinson was seen alive, she was playing beer pong with Anderson and other Whites. The prosecution also called Waukegan, Illinois enforcement officer Brooke Tavajian to testify about the arm she located in June of 2024. Once again, DNA testing along with the haunting pink fingernail polish helped identify the remains as those of Sade. This live broadcast was delayed as Gus T. finally had the chance to visit Warnimont Park, where Sade's remains were first discovered, as well as Anderson's residence. Gus T. Renegade returns as a credentialed journalist to the 51st annual Seattle International Film Festival. Friday was the first official day of the event, and Gus kicked off the fancy television viewing with 3 feature length films and one collection of shorts. All of the films Gus reviewed were directly connected to the Global System of White Supremacy. Neely Fuller Jr.'s native land of Muskogee, Oklahoma was mentioned during the discussing of the documentary film, DROWNED LAND, which examines the history of White Supremacy against Choctaw "indians" and how Whites polluted most of natural waters in Oklahoma. This film included a snippet about the Choctaw owning black slaves in Greenwood, Mississippi, and these "red" people took their black property with them to Oklahoma on the "Trail of Tears." Gus engaged in a fascinating exchange about this anti-black history with Choctaw filmmaker Colleen Thurston. Prior to this constructive film and exchange, Gus was forced to endure the contempt for gender in the short film "Saturn Risin9," which features an "LGBTQ" black person with bleached eyebrows who was likely classified as a male at birth. He does mention Racism as a problem well after he identifies as "queer." Gus also saw Danielle Deadwyler star in the Canadian science fiction thriller 40 ACRES, which imagines a future where black and non-white people are under assault from Racist(?) cannibals.
