Hello to you, Marilyn, listening in Hancock, New Hampshire!Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington, this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds (and a bit more) for Wednesdays on Whidbey—this final day of the old year—and your host, Diane Wyzga. Shoveling Snow With Buddha by Billy Collins"In the usual iconography of the temple or the local Wokyou would never see him doing such a thing, tossing the dry snow over the mountainof his bare, round shoulder, his hair tied in a knot,a model of concentration. Sitting is more his speed, if that is the wordfor what he does, or does not do. Even the season is wrong for him.In all his manifestations, is it not warm and slightly humid? Is this not implied by his serene expression, that smile so wide it wraps itself around the waist of the universe? But here we are, working our way down the driveway, one shovelful at a time.We toss the light powder into the clear air.We feel the cold mist on our faces. And with every heave we disappearand become lost to each otherin these sudden clouds of our own making, these fountain-bursts of snow. This is so much better than a sermon in church,I say out loud, but Buddha keeps on shoveling. This is the true religion, the religion of snow, and sunlight and winter geese barking in the sky,I say, but he is too busy to hear me. He has thrown himself into shoveling snowas if it were the purpose of existence,as if the sign of a perfect life were a clear drivewayone you could back the car down easilyand drive off into the vanities of the worldwith a broken heater fan and a song on the radio. All morning long we work side by side,me with my commentaryand he inside the generous pocket of his silence, until the hour is nearly noonand the snow is piled high all around us;then, I hear him speak. After this, he asks, can we go inside and play cards? Certainly, I reply, and I will heat some milkand bring cups of hot chocolate to the tablewhile you shuffle the deck, and our boots stand dripping by the door. Aaah, says the Buddha, lifting his eyesand leaning for a moment on his shovelbefore he drives the thin blade againdeep into the glittering white snow."My New Year wish for you: As the old year folds onto itself and the new year dawns I wish for you that your everyday activities, even the very simple tasks, bring humor, contemplation, and a sense of magic in the ordinary. May you find your way on the path following a compass heading of True North. May the love you seek wend its way to you. Episode 167 of The Authentic Human Podcast continues with Part 92 of The Story of Creation, a living transmission shared at the request of the Creator and Universal Beings—offering the truth of consciousness & co-creation from the universal perspective. This episode explores consciousness as a living body of existence, not a philosophy or belief system. It reveals how humanity is at a pivotal evolutionary moment—simultaneously dismantling old systems while creating an entirely new world that has never existed before. You are meant to be co-creating the future of human existence, it's why you exist and it's time you remember how to participate in existence by using the power of consciousness. This is not instruction. This is remembrance. If you feel called to understand who you are, why you are here, and how creation actually works, this episode opens another layer of the illusion and returns consciousness to the forefront of human existence. ✨ In This Episode, You'll Explore: • How Consciousness Works • How truth is found through energy, not belief or perception • The role of humanity in the next stage of evolution • Why co-creation requires feeling, not control • How limiting beliefs keep humanity inside the “black box” • The difference between dismantling the old world and creating the new one 0:00 – Why The Story of Creation Exists & Why It's Being Shared Now 1:14 – How To Communicate with Consciousness (Energy → Senses → Words) 5:52 – Consciousness Is a Living Body of Existence 7:29 – How Limiting Beliefs Shape Reality & Keep Humanity Lost 9:18 – Why You Can't Reach Truth Using False Foundations 11:41 – Two Missions Unfolding on Earth Right Now 14:45 – Why the “Box” Doesn't Actually Exist 19:30 – Why Most People Aren't Truly Co-Creating 24:49 – Co-Creating The New World with Consciousness 32:44 - Consciousness is the Foundation of Existence. 37:03 - Your Soul knew this Resurrection of Human Existence was Coming

In this episode of Founder Talk, I sit down with Ryan Walsh, a drone industry veteran operating at the intersection of advanced technology, regulation, and global competition. We dive into what it really takes to build a tech company in heavily regulated industries, how drone innovation fell behind in the U.S., and what the growing conversation around UAPs reveals about advanced aerospace technology and how little the public actually understands about it.Ryan shares firsthand perspective from operating across global markets, including why Asia moved faster in drone adoption, how regulation shapes innovation more than founders expect, and what it really means to build hardware businesses where timelines and risk look very different from software. We also talk about the long, uncomfortable middle of entrepreneurship: sunk costs, delayed momentum, and the discipline required to keep going when results aren't immediate. We also explore the growing conversation around UAPs and what it reveals about how new technologies are misunderstood long before they're accepted. Ryan offers a grounded take on why many UAP sightings are likely tied to advanced aerospace and drone technology, and what that disconnect teaches founders about perception, narrative, and trust. You'll learn:✅ Why regulation and policy often matter more than the technology itself✅ How founders decide when to persist versus walk away✅ What drones, robotics, and AI signal about the future of logistics✅ Why UAP discussions highlight how society misunderstands new tech✅ How patience, discipline, and mission compound over timeIf you're building anything complex, regulated, or capital-intensive, this episode offers an honest look at the realities most founders never hear about.Connect with Ryan WalshGuest LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ryan--walsh/Guest Website: https://www.valqari.com/If you are a B2B company that wants to build your own in-house content team instead of outsourcing your content to a marketing agency, we may be a fit for you! Ethan welcomes back bestselling author and Buddhist Astrologer Juliana McCarthy (Ethereal Culture, The Stars Within You) to dive headfirst into a discussion of the momentous year ahead. They break the discussion into four areas: spiritual practice, creative practice, technology and politics. Juliana predicts big personal and collective moments ahead in February, April and especially in July 2026, including a massive revolutionary placement of planets that coincides directly with July 4th, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the American Declaration of Independence (Which Ethan wishes was called the Declaration of Interdependence!). Juliana also talks about why "thick karma" is not a problem. These conversations are always fun, and this one might have been the most impactful of them all. Enjoy! WORT 89.9FM Madison · The Absence of Reality E. Hughes(photo courtesy ehughesbooks.com) At the end of Lewis Carroll's 1871 children's novel, “Through the Looking Glass,” Carroll's heroine, Alice, asks her cat, Kitty, an important question about her recent escapade across a giant chessboard: “Now, Kitty, let’s consider who it was that dreamed it all. …You see, Kitty, it must have been either me or the Red King. He was part of my dream, of course — but then I was part of his dream, too! was it the Red King, Kitty?” The idea that we are all living in a dream, known as the “simulation hypothesis,” dates back to ancient Chinese, Indian, Greek and Aztec philosophy, but received new life in 2003 when Nick Bostrom argued that we were all living in a giant computer simulation. E. Hughes has built a career not only as a poet and science fiction author, but also as a philosopher of metaphysics. Her new book “The Absence of Reality: Aphorisms and Observations on the Nature of Reality and Existence” explores this idea. E. Hughes joined the Monday Buzz on December 22, 2025. Send us a textWhat if the part of you that never changes has been quietly watching all along—calm, loving, and fully awake—while life pulled you into errands, deadlines, and everyone else's urgency? Today we open Lesson 17 from The Way of Mastery and trace a path from autopilot to awareness, from “I'm a product of my circumstances” to “I'm the witness who can choose.” We talk about the wave-and-ocean view of self, why stillness matters in a noisy world, and how five honest minutes of meditation can reset your day and your direction. From there, we explore states of awareness beyond the body that you already touch in dreams, daydreams, deep focus, and breathwork. You'll hear how practices like Revelation Breathwork make you vividly aware that you have a body but aren't confined by it, easing fear around death and freeing authentic creativity. We also open a grounded conversation about “friends” on the inner path—guides, angels, and supportive presences—and how to invite respectful, loving communication without forcing belief. Simple intentions, recurring symbols, colors, and quiet nudges can become a real relationship when you start paying attention. The boldest idea lands with a thud of recognition: you can't imagine what you haven't already experienced in some dimension of being. Imagination isn't wishful thinking; it's memory peeking through. That means your recurring vision—a stage, a book, a healing practice—isn't random. It's a breadcrumb from a wider self calling you forward. We unpack how to pursue that call without the ego's hunger for validation, and why the inevitable tests are actually part of becoming who you already are. If everything already exists, your next brave step is the bridge. If this sparked something in you, follow the show, share it with a friend who's ready to move, and leave a quick review to help others find it. Jim Elvidge is an independent researcher and author whose work challenges conventional cosmology by proposing that the universe itself may be a computational system. In The Universe — Solved, Elvidge presents a bold framework suggesting that reality is not fundamentally physical, but information-based, governed by mathematical rules similar to those underlying digital computation. Drawing on concepts from physics, information theory, and philosophy, he explores how space, time, energy, and consciousness may emerge from a deeper informational substrate. Elvidge's ideas invite a radical rethinking of existence—one that blurs the line between science and metaphysics and raises profound questions about the nature of reality and humanity's place within it.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-x-zone-radio-tv-show--1078348/support.Please note that all XZBN radio and/or television shows are Copyright © REL-MAR McConnell Meda Company, Niagara, Ontario, Canada – www.rel-mar.com. After a heavy weekend on Earth, Ethan discusses violence and gun violence via the mass shootings at his alma mater of Brown University and the Jewish community in Sydney at Bondi Beach, along side the movie One Battle After Another and the murders of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer. Ethan contemplates the first precept (to refrain from killing) as both a personal and a political practice. He also argues that the American love of "free speech" and our widespread addiction to guns are directly at odds with each other, and as a society, we must either choose guns or speech and can't have both. How can our mindfulness practice lead us toward an actual end to violence? Can it? Or will it just be "one samsara after another?" AI Isn't Intelligent—And That's What Makes It Dangerous Artificial intelligence is shaping our world—but few people understand what it actually is. In this compelling presentation, Lenny Esposito cuts through the hype and fear to reveal a far more sobering reality. Machines don't think, reason, or understand—and yet we are increasingly trusting them with moral decisions, education, surveillance, and even spiritual authority. The greatest danger of AI isn't that it becomes human—but that humans stop being human.

PREVIEW — Jim McTague — A Tale of Two Economies: Household Budget Constraints. Reporting from Lancaster County, McTague documents the existence of a "tale of two economies" through interviews with a family at Costco, wherein the father asserted that the economy was performing adequately. However, the mother, who manages the household's financial expenditures and budgeting, expressed significant concern that household expenses exceed available resources, making economic survival increasingly difficult. McTague validates the mother's assessment through personal observation of light retail traffic and diminished consumer engagement, suggesting that official economic statistics may mask genuine household financial distress affecting middle-class purchasing power and discretionary spending capacity. Ethan welcomes Dan Harris, one of the leading voices in the mindfulness movement, for a live (and lively) conversation about the quest for stability in an unstable world, and to present the 2026 Yearlong Buddhist Studies Program. When Ethan mentioned a classic quote from the Indian master Shantideva about "covering the world in leather," Dan responded with one of his slightly irreverent and not-safe-for-the-monastery quips. It was a great conversation. Check it out! A former ABC news anchor, Dan Harris is the bestselling author of 10% Happier and Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics. He hosts the 10% Happier Podcast. Philosopher Stefan Molyneux challenges the existence of God from a philosophical perspective, drawing on decades of study. He defines existence and categorizes entities into three groups: those that exist, those that may exist without proof, and self-contradictory entities. Focusing on the latter, the lecture critiques God's traits of omniscience and omnipotence, posing logical dilemmas. Additionally, the relationship between consciousness and the brain is explored. Ultimately, he concludes that God's existence fails to meet criteria of evidence and logic, inviting reflection on the implications of believing in a non-existent entity.SUBSCRIBE TO ME ON X! https://x.com/StefanMolyneuxFollow me on Youtube! https://www.youtube.com/@freedomain1GET MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING', THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI, AND THE FULL AUDIOBOOK!https://peacefulparenting.com/Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free!Subscribers get 12 HOURS on the "Truth About the French Revolution," multiple interactive multi-lingual philosophy AIs trained on thousands of hours of my material - as well as AIs for Real-Time Relationships, Bitcoin, Peaceful Parenting, and Call-In Shows! You also receive private livestreams, HUNDREDS of exclusive premium shows, early release podcasts, the 22 Part History of Philosophers series and much more!See you soon!https://freedomain.locals.com/support/promo/UPB2025
“Neuroscientists who stand up and say ‘we have souls' are few and far between,” says pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Michael Egnor.“But when you look carefully at the neuroscience—the best neuroscience over the past century—it clearly points to the existence of the soul and to the existence of aspects of our mind that don't come from the brain.”Egnor himself started off as a materialist and atheist. But 40 years and more than 7,000 brain surgeries later, he concluded that reason and free will do not reside in the brain. In this episode, he reveals what he's found.“Neuroscience is just fundamentally wrong in a lot of ways … because of the materialist bias in neuroscience. We can't get away from this machine analogy, [but] we're not machines, and we don't work like machines work. And there's overwhelming evidence in neuroscience for the existence of a soul,” he says.Dr. Egnor is a professor of neurosurgery and pediatrics at Stony Brook University, a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute, and the co-author of the book “The Immortal Mind: A Neurosurgeon's Case for the Existence of the Soul.”Views expressed in this video are opinions of the host and the guest, and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Epoch Times.
