Hi! I'm your host Amber Noelle aka @noelleamber_ on social media. I'm also the host of another popular podcast show called "Agenda Us Now". I felt that this space needed to be created because there's enough research, ongoing happenings and legislative around the big elephant in the room: Black Maternal and Infant Mortality and Morbidity.Throughout this show you'll get to hear from professors, physicians, the general public join in on conversations that cover reproductive health for black people. I'll mainly be targeting topics based on maternal health for black females. You may think that you aren't contributing my engaging, subscribing and sharing but you are. When will we be able to stop saying: "Damn, Us Again?" Did you know that black women are the leading racial group in the United States for maternal mortality. Did you also know that much of what's wrong inside of our healthcare industry that is causing a sky rocketing number of black women dying pregnancy-realted deaths? In order to lower the healthcare disparities black women face we should exercise feasible preventative solutions that will aid in lowering these numbers. That mainly includes legislation and collaborative efforts amongst ourselves and officials. Why not join the discussion? At least once in your lifetime you would've known of or personally know a female who has faced a reproductive issue that's based off of quality of care. I will make sure to provide key content that will result in you gaining better awareness around these issues.
