Have you ever had a moment when it seems as though God isn't with you? Logically, we know that God will never leave us but when things come against us in life, it sure feels like he is distant, lost, or willingly turning His eyes from us. The call of a Christian is to give up our own way. What a difficult thing to do because it can seem so counter-intuitive. Do you have difficulty with the idea of surrendering to God? Sometimes we can look at our current situation and forget that we serve the one and only God who created the universe. When life seems hopeless and without a possible solution, we have to remember that we serve the Creator of the universe. He who constantly demonstrates His ability to create something from nothing. Today let's meditate on the beginning in Genesis 1.

When bad things happen it's difficult to believe that God is good. Today we set our focus on this simple truth, God is good.

During a time when we may be physically alone due to social distancing, it's important for us to remember Truth, we are never alone. This week we will meditate on God's Promise to never leave us or forsake us. Let's delight in these things and allow the peace of God to calm the storms that we may be facing. "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6

When the world is a ball of confusion and chaotic, it's difficult to silence the voices within, the anxiety that creeps up without us even knowing it. But we are reminded by Psalm 46:10 to be still and know that He is God!
