Robb experienced extreme fatigue, weakness, and dangerous bleeding episodes due to his condition, which required him to take up to 16 different medications daily including high-dose steroids and undergo multiple blood transfusions.Medical treatments included experimental procedures and a splenectomy, but doctors eventually told Robb his options were running out and suggested either an expensive experimental drug costing $600 per week or radiation therapy.A young man from Robb's church suggested medical cannabis as a treatment option, which initially angered Robb who questioned how marijuana could help when scientists and doctors couldn't determine what was wrong with him.Research into cannabis led Robb to discover Rick Simpson's story, Dr. Rafael's work from Israel, and most importantly US Patent 6630507B1 which lists cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants for autoimmune diseases. After the splenectomy failed to improve his condition, Robb obtained his medical cannabis certification in Michigan in 2008 and purchased his first gram of Rick Simpson oil for $80 from a compassion club.Initial dosing began with tiny amounts using a toothpick to extract small portions of the oil throughout the day, as Robb considered himself a lightweight when it came to THC effects.Lifestyle changes accompanied the cannabis treatment including adopting an organic diet, eliminating processed foods, and studying the immune system to understand how nutrition affects overall health.Within one week of starting cannabis oil treatment and detoxing from prescription medications, Robb returned to work after being unable to work for over a year and a half.Robb became a licensed caregiver in Michigan, growing cannabis for five patients and eventually operating a 24/7 drive-through dispensary in 2016 with an on-site MD for patient certifications.Partnership with Dr. Calasperius beginning in 2020 created a comprehensive treatment approach combining traditional medical examinations with customized cannabis formulations based on patient needs and tolerance levels.Success story involved treating a six-month-old baby named Anastasia who was experiencing 100 seizures daily, using only CBD, CBG, and CBN without THC to eliminate her need for toxic narcotics.Frustration remains with public misconceptions about cannabis despite extensive patent evidence and 17 years of safe processing and provision in Michigan without any lawsuits or liability cases.Educational efforts continue to promote cannabis in all forms including hemp hearts for nutrition, emphasizing that the plant can provide food, housing, clothing, energy, and medicine while encouraging people to think independently about their health.Current operations focus on community wellness through the website communitywellness.life, offering various cannabis products including infused honey from a third-generation wildflower honey farm. Welcome to a powerful and heartfelt episode of the Compared to Who? podcast, hosted by Heather Creekmore. In this episode, Heather chats with three real women—Patricia, Diane, and Jess—who have courageously walked through coaching and programs to improve their body image and relationship with food. If you’re tired of feeling stuck in food obsession, diet culture, or shame around your body, this episode is for you! Episode Highlights: The guests share honestly about their lifelong battles with body image, food restriction, calorie counting, and the underlying fears and shame that kept them trapped for years. Patricia Reveals how she lived in “body image bondage” for nearly two decades, mistaking strict dieting for freedom until she discovered the faith-based approach of Compared to Who? and began her journey to genuine freedom. Diane At age 71, reflects on six decades of food obsessions and restricting behaviors, and how finally integrating her faith with her eating and body image struggles began her transformation. Jess Shares how she didn’t realize she even had body image issues until after having kids; she discusses the shame of living in a bigger body, the mental exhaustion of chasing diets, and how true freedom finally came through the support and tools offered in the coaching group. The women and Heather explore the themes of fear, idolatry, objectification, and the dynamic between self-worth and body size. Hear practical, inspiring stories about breaking the cycle of daily weigh-ins, obsessive thoughts, and moralizing food choices. Each guest describes how participation in the 40 Day Body Image Journey, the Body Image Freedom Framework, and intuitive eating coaching offered loving accountability, lasting mindset shifts, and deepened connection to God’s truth about their identity. The episode closes with encouragement for anyone who feels stuck, scared to start, or believes they’re “too old” or “too late” for change. Key Takeaways: Lasting body image freedom isn’t about reaching your “ideal weight”—it’s about shifting your perspective, breaking fear-driven cycles, and finding your worth in God, not a number on the scale. Healing comes in community: support, vulnerability, and shared struggle are powerful in bringing freedom from shame and isolation. No matter your age or how long you’ve struggled, there is hope and there is help. Let me guess. It's a new year, and you're supposed to feel motivated. Excited. Ready for a fresh start. But instead? You just feel tired. Tired of being tired. Tired of trying. Tired of feeling like you're starting over AGAIN with your eating disorder recovery. Everywhere you look, you're being bombarded with "new year, new you" messages. Detoxes. Transformation challenges. Fresh starts. Clean slates. And if you're in ED recovery, you know exactly what that pressure feels like—and how triggering it is. Here's what I need you to hear: A calendar flipping to January 1st doesn't magically fix anything. But there IS one emotion that will actually get you out of ED hell. And it's probably not what you think. In this raw, no-BS episode, I'm getting provocative, confrontational, and real with you about the power of frustration—and why being absolutely sick and tired of yourself and your eating disorder might be the best thing that could happen to your recovery. This isn't your typical "be kind to yourself" recovery talk. This is me calling you out with love, getting you MAD, and helping you channel that anger into the fuel you need to actually change. In this episode, you'll discover: Why "new year, new you" is toxic garbage (especially in ED recovery) The ONE emotion that will actually get you out of ED hell (hint: it's frustration) Why feeling "sick of yourself" isn't weakness—it's readiness My personal story of how I had to get ANGRY with myself to finally stop playing games with recovery What your eating disorder has actually taken from you over the years (and how many more years you're going to let it take) 3 powerful action steps to channel your frustration: plate-throwing, journaling prompts, and the anger letter The raw, unfiltered reality of what recovery actually takes (no sugarcoating) Why you need to stop negotiating with your ED and start getting pissed off enough to do something different If you're done playing victim to your own story. If you're sick of half-assing your recovery. If you're ready to get FRUSTRATED enough to finally take action—this episode is for you. Let's go.

Would you like to be more in a state of flow? If you've been knocked out of flow, how do you get back into it? Our guest today is Christy Whitman, two-time New York Times bestselling author and transformational leader for the past 25 years teaching how to manifest and create having it all in life, through deliberate application of the Universal Laws. Her latest book is "The Flow Factor: How To Master Your Energy and Enter A State of Flow." She discusses the idea of "flow" and how to utilize daily practices of universal law. When you are in lack or limitation, this can easily take us out of flow. Sometimes there are bumps in the roads, from everything as small as stubbing your toe, to having a flat tire, to someone making a rude comment to us, which can affect our feelings and throw us off. Christy talks about "bushwacking moments" that can take us out, yet, when you are intentionally in this conscious state, flow is more powerful than the contrasting experiences. People typically think of flow as a state where time doesn't exist. It can be painting, running, taking a yoga class, or doing any creative activity where you feel in the zone. These are moments that show up in our lives from time to time, but what creates this flow? Christy defines it as connection with the infinite. We have access to this unlimited, universal energy at any time. This is pure, positive energy. We are all the conduit of energetic flow. When we are successful, laughing, giddy, flow feels good. When you have a pessimistic attitude or feel a little negative, you have fallen out of flow. And when this happens you attract more of the same. We can so easily fall off track, just because of a thought. Christy explains how it can be thoughts of lack, disapproval, or discouragement. We can think we are not good enough or not worthy of receiving. Frustration is also one of the biggest thoughts that can cause us to be out of flow. Christy shares how joy and success all exist right now. She talks about steppingstones that help us get back on our path. It's small steps. If someone is in despair, they need a bridge to start to feel better. How do you get from there into abundance and flow? Peace, harmony, and compassion for yourself can start. It calms the limbic system. When you go into the state of neutrality, it's easier to soothe ourselves. When we experience contrast, our natural fight, flight, freeze, or fawn reaction begins to accelerate. Our energy can get caught. We need to release the energy by coming into a space of neutrality. From there we can get into abundance and flow. Unconscious thoughts create our reality and as we check in with our emotions, we can learn to make changes. Christy teaches us ways to quickly get out of a negative state and into a flow of joy and abundance. It starts with being compassionate to yourself first. This is Part 1 of the interview.

In this short solo episode, Anna explores a gentle, nervous-system–informed approach to getting back into flow when things feel hard.Instead of treating frustration, fear, or burnout as problems to fix, Anna offers a different framework: these states are signals of inner conflict — moments when parts of us want different things at the same time. And it's that internal tug-of-war, not the emotions themselves, that drains our energy and pulls us out of flow.In this episode, you'll learn how to stop fighting yourself and start bringing your energy back onto one team.In this episode, we cover:Why frustration, fear, and burnout aren't the problem — and what actually isHow inner conflict drains your energy (and how to gently resolve it)A simple practice for working with frustration instead of spiraling against itHow to meet fear with care, curiosity, and reassurance — rather than self-criticismWhy burnout is often a signal to rest intentionally, not push harderHow choosing rest can actually bring creativity, motivation, and clarity back onlineWhy practicing these tools in community can create an upward spiral of support and flowAnna also shares how these practices are used inside Seen & Safe, her twice-monthly group for sensitive creatives, practitioners, and entrepreneurs who want to move forward without overriding their nervous system. This week on Next on the Tee, I welcome three outstanding guests for an episode filled with elite instruction, thoughtful perspective, and great storytelling. Leading things off is the show's Resident Director of Instruction, Tom Patri, who recently received one of the highest honors in the game — being named a Golf Magazine Top 100 Alumni Instructor. Tom reflects on what that recognition means and his journey through the game. From there we dive into Tom's candid and passionate take on comments from new PGA Tour Commissioner Brian Rolapp and Tiger Woods regarding proposed changes to the Tour, including fewer tournaments, smaller fields, and scheduling adjustments to avoid competing with the NFL. Tom also shares insights on some of the top golf courses around his old stomping ground, New York City, several of which were named among Golf Digest's 25 most beautiful courses in the country. Next, making his Next on the Tee debut, is Stan Moore, one of Florida's top instructors and a highly respected short game and putting coach. Stan walks us through his approach to putting, including stance, stroke length, and key fundamentals that help golfers become more consistent on the greens. He also shares feedback he's received from students that reinforces why his methods are so effective. In Part 2 of this week's show, I'm joined by longtime friend John Inman, former PGA Tour professional and head coach at UNC. John reflects on winning a National Championship there in 1984, shares thoughts on Carolina football and the Bill Belichick experiment, and discusses how NIL has transformed college athletics into a minor league system. We also revisit John's victory at the 1993 Buick Southern Open, his brother Joe's win at the 1976 Kemper Open, and the constant ups and downs that make golf both maddening and magical. It's an episode packed with insight, honesty, and plenty of moments every golfer can relate to — so settle in and enjoy another great week on Next on the Tee, where golf legends live and your game gets better.

Arsenal are through to the Carabao Cup semi-finals — but it didn't come easily. In this episode of The Non-Negotiables Podcast, we react immediately to Arsenal's penalty shoot-out win over Crystal Palace at the Emirates. A dominant first half, 25 shots, and complete territorial control somehow gave way to a familiar story: missed chances, second-half drop-off, and another late twist that forced penalties. We break down why Arsenal failed to put the game to bed, the ongoing concern around underperforming xG, and how control slipped after the break. Highlights: The big question: Is Shedeur Sanders the Browns' long-term answer at quarterback? His development is a work in progress amidst a poor offense. A compelling case for the Browns to use a high draft pick on a "sure thing" wide receiver like Carnell Tate instead of a risky QB, providing a reliable weapon for the next decade. The offensive line is a top priority for a complete overhaul, with a need to invest heavily in the draft and free agency to find a cornerstone "10-year left tackle." Jerry Jeudy's disappointing season raises questions about his future with the team given his large contract. After a shaky start, kicker Andre Szmyt has become a reliable and above-average weapon, solidifying a key position for the Browns. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel is largely viewed as a long-term backup, a role highlighted by fan reactions during a recent game appearance. A debate emerged comparing the calm demeanor of Browns coach Kevin Stefanski to the fiery, culture-changing style of Indiana's Curt Cignetti, questioning which approach is better for a struggling team. The modern college football landscape, with NIL and the transfer portal, allows for much faster program turnarounds than the more structured team-building environment of the NFL. Cavs guard Darius Garland has shown a recent resurgence, playing more like the dynamic, aggressive offensive player he has been in the past. Despite a recent win, the Cavs' defense remains a major concern, as they continue to struggle with transition defense and rebounding. The Cavaliers are criticized for their heavy reliance on high-volume three-point shooting, with suggestions they should focus more on attacking the paint. There's a belief that the Cavaliers' offense functions best when center Jarrett Allen is happy and actively involved as more than just a screener. Fans expressed grave concern over MLB's official partnerships with sports betting companies, fearing it compromises the game's integrity. Frustration is mounting over MLB's slow action in the gambling case involving Guardians players, especially when compared to the NBA's swift response in similar situations. A top offseason wish for the Guardians is to trade from their pitching depth to acquire a much-needed right-handed power-hitting outfielder. The system allowing wealthy MLB teams to sign "ready-made" international players is debated as unfair, sparking ideas for creating more parity for smaller markets. The lack of playing time for offensive lineman Zak Zinter, despite numerous injuries, raises questions about his future with the Browns. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Playoff hopes dim after chaotic ending The Detroit Lions saw their playoff hopes fade in a 29-24 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The finish twisted the knife. Detroit appeared to score on the final snap. The celebration died when offensive pass interference wiped it away. The call, tied to Amon-Ra St. Brown, turned a stunning comeback into an empty box score. The moment fit the day. Frustration. Confusion. Missed chances. This loss stings because it was there to take. The Steelers were banged up. The Lions did not capitalize. Detroit's offense sputtered on the ground. The defense broke late. In the NFL, that combination loses you games in December. Officiating confusion and accountability The officiating crew, led by Carl Cheffers, lost the plot in the final sequence. Communication failed on the field. Players and coaches were left guessing. Letter of the law, the offensive pass interference on St. Brown can be called. Process matters too. It did not look like the crew controlled the situation or explained it. That erodes trust. Earlier, an offensive pass interference flag on Isaac TeSlaa compounded the angst. TeSlaa was pushed by a defensive back into another defender, which triggered the foul. That nuance mattered. Detroit paid for the savvy by Pittsburgh. Calls like these underscore a bigger NFL problem. Transparency is lagging. The league needs an eye-in-the-sky voice. It needs clear, real-time explanations. With gambling tied into every broadcast, the room for opaque officiating is gone. Run game stalls, defense cracks late The Detroit Lions run game vanished. David Montgomery had four carries for 14 yards. His longest went for 17, which means the rest lost three yards. Jameer Gibbs had seven carries for two yards. His longest was six. The other six lost four yards. Jared Goff lost a yard on a designed run. That is a non-starter for a Detroit offense built on balance. It is more galling given Pittsburgh's injuries. No T.J. Watt. No Nick Herbig. Cornerbacks rotating. The Lions offensive line was makeshift, but the execution fell short. Detroit could not move bodies or sustain tracks. The Steelers defensive front won too many snaps on first down. The sticks flipped, and the playbook shrank. Defensively, Detroit blinked in the biggest moments. Two long Jaylen Warren runs in the fourth quarter tilted the field and the clock. Those gap fits must be airtight. They were not. The Lions did not play well enough to overcome that, even without the officiating swirl. Short week to Christmas kickoff An abbreviated week now looms. The Detroit Lions play again on Christmas. The locker room has to flush this and find urgency. The margin is gone. The path is narrow. What remains is pride, correction, and sharper detail. The Detroit Lions Podcast daily notes it plainly. Detroit must own the self-inflicted wounds, demand clarity from the league, and run the ball when it matters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04GqVJ-4R4s #detroitlions #lions #detroitlionspodcast #amon-rast.brown #offensivepassinterference #carlcheffers #isaacteslaa #davidmontgomery #jameergibbs #jaredgoff #jaylenwarren #t.j.watt #nickherbig Learn more about your ad choices. In this episode of Heal Yourself, Change Your Life, Brandy Gillmore explores how subconscious emotional patterns can be directly linked to physical pain, inflammation, and unexplained symptoms—and how real healing begins at a deeper level of the mind. Brandy shares compelling research, including documented cases of multiple personality disorder (now called dissociative identity disorder), where an individual experiences different illnesses, symptoms, and even blindness in different personalities—despite having the same physical body. These findings offer powerful evidence of the mind-body connection and show how quickly the body can change when subconscious programming shifts. In a live coaching session, Brandy works with Tracey, a volunteer experiencing migrating foot pain, jaw pain, burning sensations, and inflammation that doctors have been unable to explain, even with MRIs. As the session unfolds, Brandy helps Tracey identify suppressed emotional patterns related to relationships, control, and unmet emotional needs that have been stored in her subconscious mind. You'll Discover: How it's possible for chronic pain to move or flare without a clear medical cause How suppressed emotions can remain active even when you "feel fine" Why positivity, meditation, affirmations, and mindset work may not be enough How subconscious relationship patterns can affect both emotional and physical health What true emotional transformation looks like at the mind-body level As Tracy's awareness shifts, listeners witness her experience real-time reductions in pain and burning, demonstrating how emotional healing can support physical change when addressed at the subconscious level. This episode is especially valuable for anyone experiencing: Chronic pain or unexplained symptoms Autoimmune flare-ups linked to stress or relationships Repeating relationship patterns that feel painful or confusing A sense of feeling unloved, disconnected, or emotionally stuck Frustration after trying meditation, mindset work, or holistic approaches without lasting results This episode offers education, insight, and hope, showing how healing becomes possible when emotional patterns are transformed—not suppressed. Do you want to see proof of the power of the mind in a medical journal? Here's a demonstration of Brandy Gillmore working with volunteers under medical equipment, as featured in a medical journal. Playing with your preschooler should be fun, right? In this Coaching Hotline episode, I answer two listener questions that dig into common parenting frustrations. The first tackles how to show up authentically when your preschooler's bossiness during play triggers irritation. The second explores managing all those thoughts about how children "should" behave. You'll learn practical ways to reframe your irritation, understand what being "authentic" really means in parenting, and get curious about those inherited beliefs about how kids should act.
