At Dr.B Speaks the focus is growth and development. I was once told what is the point of working at something if you aren’t improving. We will have conversations with individuals that have learned to overcome obstacles and push through adversity. Most rat
There are 3 main takeaways that you should have from this episode one there is power in mentorship, two losing isn't losing if you learn the lesson(s) and finally that the process of becoming more than you are now will require a different version of you. We all have experienced what we would call losses. But hidden within those difficulties, hardships, no's, financial lack etc are the pieces of you that are required to assist you in leveling up. Success is different for everyone but many of the processes to achieve it are similar. When Mr.Miagi decided to mentor Daniel he didn't teach him martial arts initially and he made daniel a better fighter as a result of putting him through those challenges. The question is will you allow your losses to teach you how to move to closer to your wins or not?, either way it's up to you. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
There is a significant difference between reaching a certain level of success and maintaining that level of success. Greatness does not come easily, but what's even more difficult than achieving the greatness is maintaining it. In this episode I discuss the two main factors I believe help individuals maintain a certain level of success. I am fully aware that success looks different for different people, and maintaining success could also look different for different individuals. However, what is universal throughout this topic are the distinguishing factors between certain individuals who not only reach certain levels of achievements but maintain those levels.
I believe it was geometry when you and I were First introduced to the Concept of parallel lines. Parallel lines are two lines in the same dimension or plane that do not intersect. The idea behind the title of blurred lines is when lines are parallel they are next to one another and they are moving in the same direction. When lines are blurred you can see which direction they are pointing and you don't know what the trajectory of the lines are. I am using lines as a symbolic representation of people in our lives. And having blurred lines with those that surround us can cause damage to our destiny. In this episode I discuss the importance of being very particular about those that influence You and I within the particular aspects of our lives that relate to our growth and development. We all must avoid the people that are the blurred lines around us and we must seek those that walk parallel with us, those individuals that encourage, strengthen, and enrich our lives. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
It is my strong belief, that it is necessary to have foundational principles and values or a beliefs system that guide us in all that we do. In episode four of this podcast I discuss the magic in commitment, which is one of the core values of my life. We must learn to begin those projects, goals or dreams we want to achieve. And once we do there are courses within the universe that will support your decision. So just start. As Nike said “just do it”. I Remember my grandfather telling me a man's word means something, he told me if you tell someone you're going to do something do it, or tell them if you cannot, but never commit to something and then not follow through. Within this episode, Dr. B speaks on how committing to something can cause the universe to work in your favor, listen intently and allow this information to grow you, here's to your success --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
As the world reels and mourns at the untimely death of the Iconic Chadwick Boseman I have found myself engrossed in learning more about his life. I have been watching interviews, reading articles, listening to digital programs learning lessons from Chad. My brother Roland Martin's digital program Roland Martin Unfiltered held a celebration of life program today. and on his show he had a number of guests from Chadwick's peers to form professors current students etc. and they discussed so many details about his life that speaks volumes. I learned so much and was so inspired I did this particular episode without making any notes, because there is so much to learn from someone like Chadwick Boseman. Some people desire to go through life and just be comfortable other people desire to be great. I believe the people who desire to be great will most benefit from this podcast. The Bible speaks of weakness coming from the level of service to others, not only did Chadwick Boseman serve others through his masterful art of film and acting, he served others through his knowledge of his purpose. I am absolutely thrilled to bring you this episode and I really wish I would have taken better notes as I watch these episodes in these interviews to have more details to provide for you and see that even in what I do I could be better, and that is always the goal. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Have you ever considered why you or I don't achieve the things we desire? Have you compared yourself to someone more “successful” than yourself and it diminished your sense of self?
