A nearly incompetent band of misfits (who are definitely not mercenaries) fumble their way to glory in the Frozen Northlands of Faerun. A 4th edition D&D game set in the Forgotten Realms run by Mike Lee, and starring the Dallas Unsung Heroes.
The Session Finale as the Champions of Elkridge once again speak to the Harpers and are warned of Merric's gemstone. After further time in the City, they decide to head into caverns in search of Gauntlgrym.
The new Champions of Elkridge continue their journey into Neverwinter, stopping at the Dirty Dwarf Inn. Adrik's interests are piqued as a unique metal box is anted in a game of dice.
The spoils of battle are split up within the group, and Finrix attempts to train his Drake... with... interesting results. Returning triumphantly to Elkridge, the Heroes collect their fame and rewards.
With Bajik's forces nearly defeated, the Heroes of Sundabar work to easily clear up the rest. We also learn about Jim's childhood, perhaps a little too much.
After scouting the upper levels, Listos returns and enters the fray with the Drake that Finrix befriended outside Elkridge. Now with two additional Allies, it looks like the reign of Bajik will be over soon.
The battle begins to really heat up as Bajik joins the fight, and the Heroes are able to make an Ally of someone they had fought before. Will it be enough to turn the tides?
After a short rest, the Heroes head deeper into the ruins Astraternese in hopes of confronting Bajik. Unfortunately, the path ends up being just as dangerous as before.
The Session Finale as the Heroes of Sundabar try to get into the Tower so that they may finish of the Snipers. Little do they realize that the Tower hold more than just victory.
Gaining entrance into Astraternese is a constant battle as the fight continues, now with Snipers and a Drakerider. There seems to be little rest for the Adventurers this Session.
Continuing into the ruins of Astraternese, the group meets up with Brigs the Brigand... wait... did he just say that? Somehow this sounds like an ambush.
With the Guardians numbers dwindling, the Adventurers have almost secured victory. Will this be it, or will more of the Undead horde come to assist?
The battle continues to gain entry into Astraternese, as the party continues to be surrounded by Undead minions. Zombies, Specters and Ghosts, oh my!
The Heroes of Sundabar learn that Astraternese has a mysterious new Steward, Bajik. In order to enter, though, they must fight their way through its otherworldly Guardians.
Reaching the top of Morningfall Summit, the group finds something they were not expecting: The lost Dragonborn Citadel of Astraternese, the "City of Flying Stone".
