Apple has enough cash on hand that it could pay off Australia’s national debt. Uber is worth $48 Billion. Airb’n’b is worth $13 Billion. What’s App was sold to Facebook for $22 Billion. Slack raised $120 million in January with pre-money valuation of $1 Billion. The first product you sell is scrip. Your investors are your marketers. Your idea has to be viral - in other words it needs be understandable, demonstrable and defensible no matter what industrial sector it aims to disrupt.
