Peter und Sabine Wenz haben am Sonntag 40 Jahre im Vollzeitdienst gefeiert. Zur Feier des Tages, haben unsere lieben Freunde, Markus und Nicole Oppermann aus dem Gospel House in Baden Baden eine Message über Leidenschaft, Treue und Durchhaltevermögen gepredigt.

Mit einer App für die „Vision Pro“-Brille bringt das Mahler Chamber Orchestra seine Musik direkt ins Wohnzimmer. Wie diese Technologie das Hörerlebnis verändert, verraten die Macher im Interview.Seit seiner Gründung 1997 ist das Mahler Chamber Orchestra (MCO) ein Ensemble mit einigen Besonderheiten: Es legt Wert auf seine eigene künstlerische Identität und eine demokratische Struktur. Denn geleitet wird das Orchester von den Musikern selbst, in Zusammenarbeit mit einem Managementbüro. Das MCO ist schon in mehr als 40 Ländern auf fünf Kontinenten aufgetreten. Die Musiker pflegen ein kammermusikalisches Ensemblespiel: Das Repertoire reicht von der Wiener Klassik und frühen Romantik bis zu zeitgenössischen Werken und Uraufführungen. „Alle MCO-Musiker verbindet der starke Wunsch, ihre Beziehung zum Publikum kontinuierlich zu vertiefen“, beschreibt das Orchester sich selbst. Passend dazu hat das Orchester kürzlich eine App für Apples neue „Vision Pro“-Computerbrille veröffentlicht. Diese App soll eine neue Möglichkeit bieten, Orchestermusik zu erleben: Die Nutzer können reale und virtuelle 3D-Umgebungen erkunden und mit ihnen interagieren. Sie können sich frei im virtuellen Raum bewegen und die Musik aus der Mitte der Musiker heraus erleben. Für uns interessant genug, genauer nachzufragen, wie es funktioniert. Die App bietet Raumklangaufnahmen, die in Zusammenarbeit mit Henrik Oppermann erstellt wurden. Diese Aufnahmen sollen den Zuhörer physisch, mental und sozial in den Musikprozess einbeziehen. Timothy Summers, Geiger des MCO und Mitarbeiter der MCO-App, sagt: „Zuhören bedeutet nicht nur zu erleben, sondern auch zu erforschen.“ Wir haben mit Summers und Oppermann gesprochen.

In dieser Predigt geht es um eine kraftvolle Geschichte aus dem Lukasevangelium: den wundersamen Fischfang von Petrus. Vielleicht kennst du die Situation: Du hast hart gearbeitet, alles gegeben - und trotzdem ist das Netz leer. Du fühlst dich müde, frustriert und ausgebrannt. Genau so ging es auch Petrus. Die ganze Nacht hatte er mit seinen Kollegen gefischt und nichts gefangen. Doch dann kommt Jesus und gibt eine unlogische Anweisung: "Fahr hinaus auf den See und wirf die Netze aus!" Petrus denkt: "Das macht doch keinen Sinn!" Aber er vertraut Jesus - und erlebt ein Wunder. Egal, wie leer oder kaputt du dich gerade fühlst: Jesus sieht dich. Er hat einen Plan für dich. Vertraue ihm und sei bereit für das Wunder, das er in deinem Leben tun will! Lass dich ermutigen von dieser kraftvollen Predigt.

In dieser Folge haben wir Sophia Oppermann zu Gast. Sie ist nicht nur eine von zwei Geschäftsführerinnen (gemeinsam mit Rebecca Weis) der NGO Gesicht Zeigen!, sondern auch eine wirklich starke Frau, die mit uns über Zivilcourage, die AfD und die diversen, wundervollen Projekte von Gesicht Zeigen! spricht. Und dabei lernen wir wieder einmal so viel. Sophia, gebo­ren 1968 in Gießen, wusste erst nicht so recht, was sie werden wollte. Am Abendbrottisch zu Hause wurden zwar auch politische Themen verhandelt und auch bisweilen hitzig diskutiert – richtig politisch aktiv wurde Sophia aber erst später. Sie studierte zunächst Ger­ma­nis­tik, Geschichte und Phi­lo­so­phie, stieg dann in die Fernsehbranche ein, um bei ver­schie­de­nen Fern­seh­sen­dern als freie Jour­na­lis­tin und Fil­me­ma­che­rin zu arbeiten; bis sie merkte, dass ihre Leidenschaft woanders liegen muss. Nur wo? Ein glücklicher Zufall ließ ihren Weg mit dem von Uwe-Karsten Heye (ehemaliger Regierungssprecher unter Kanzler Gerhard Schröder) kreuzen, der mit Unterstützung von Paul Spiegel (Präsident des Zentralrats der Juden) dem zunehmenden Antisemitismus und Rassismus um die Jahrtausendwende etwas entgegensetzen wollte und Gesicht Zeigen! gründete. Er fragte Sophie, ob sie nicht die Geschäftsführung übernehmen wolle. Und sie sagte sofort zu, ohne wirklich viel über Vereinsarbeit zu wissen. Ein mutiger Schritt und auch einer der besten ihrer beruflichen Karriere, ließ sie uns wissen. Heute, über 25 Jahre später, ist Sophia es immer noch und hat es nie bereut. Wir haben ihr gebannt zugehört, denn sie hat eine so mitreißende Art über Gesicht Zeigen! und ihre Arbeit dort zu erzählen, dass es Mut macht. Mut, sich selbst zu engagieren und damit ein Zeichen zu setzen. Wir sind jedenfalls inspiriert und wir hoffen, ihr seid es auch nach der Episode. Prof Vanessa brown holds a PhD in sociology from Carleton university. Her thesis investigates the integration of gender and cultural perspectives in professional military education and its relationship to organizational culture change. Doctor Brown joined the Canadian Forces College as a lecturer in 2015, teaching institutional Policy Studies for the joint command and staff program. She was recently appointed assistant professor in the Department of Defense studies at Canadian Forces College. Doctor Brown has assumed a variety of department of National Defense research and advisory roles in recent years including as an assistant professor with the Dallaire Center of Excellence for Peace and Security as well as gender adviser to the commander of the Canadian defense Academy.
