Within the past year, a lot of you have asked me about Jisa or mentioned that you missed the podcast. We are finally back, but with a few exciting changes! I am however, so happy that Vivian will be joining me and let me present her thoughts and feelings to the world through this new segment.  (Jisa is just marinating a comeback that's all) In this episode, we touch upon self-hatred, and self-help materials such as apps and videos. A touch of anxiety here, a dash of depression there, and an over-all shooting-the-shit type of conversation. The long awaited episode on family and culture is finally out. Please excuse us for such a long break between episodes, personal affairs in our lives prevented us from being able to take the time to edit the episode. We start by discussing our backgrounds and growing up in China versus growing up in the USA, as well as family dynamics. I talk about my personal experience with being of mixed race/ethnicity, and Jia and I muse on the feeling of existing in between worlds. There is also a sprinkling of discussion about white privilege, and finally, we talk about what defines a family.

In this episode, we talked about our experiences with dating apps, along with the expectations and limitations of dating.
