As the war in Iran roils on, with devastating effects on the oil markets, what is Trump's plan to get the U.S. out of another regional quagmire? Scott Galloway and Jessica Tarlov discuss the latest developments on the war in Iran from the administration — including a befuddling announcement from Trump, startling messaging from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and a foreboding sense from Secretary of State Marco Rubio that Cuba is next. Plus — Scott explains why the markets seem to have rebounded from yesterday's oil price spike, and Jessica unpacks why Trump's refusal to provide strong support for Ukraine in its war with Russia may have already hurt the U.S. in Iran. It's one of the DMV's grisliest, and weirdest, crime stories in years: an 87-year-old millionaire shot to death inside a Potomac nursing home. When the news first broke, it petrified residents of the luxe assisted-living facility. Now that there's been an arrest and cops have laid out what they say looks like an elaborate pre-planned scheme — there's a bigger question: Why? The Washington Post's Dan Morse has been covering the story and he's here to tell us the latest. Want some more DC news? Then make sure to sign up for our morning newsletter Hey DC. The war with Iran and stalled shipping through the Straight of Hormuz is limiting supplies of both crude oil and fertilizer to the rest of the world. Crude prices spiked to near $120 dollars a barrel today. The American Farm Bureau today called on Washington and fertilizer suppliers to help farmers through the economic challenges they are facing.
Meanwhile Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any who belonged to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. Now as he was going along and approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” He asked, “Who are you, Lord?” The reply came, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But get up and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.” The men who were traveling with him stood speechless because they heard the voice but saw no one. Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; so they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. For three days he was without sight and neither ate nor drank. Now there was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” He answered, “Here I am, Lord.” The Lord said to him, “Get up and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul. At this moment he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight.” But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints in Jerusalem, and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who invoke your name.” But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is an instrument whom I have chosen to bring my name before gentiles and kings and before the people of Israel; I myself will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” So Ananias went and entered the house. He laid his hands on Saul and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on your way here, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and his sight was restored. Then he got up and was baptized. In this episode, The Annuity Man discussed: Planning for a lasting legacy to protect clients and business continuity Creating a client-first culture by prioritizing guarantees over commissions Fostering radical transparency through honesty and owning mistakes Using trust and straightforward service to stand out in a commoditized market Key Takeaways: Preparing for the future keeps client trust intact even after the founder is gone. Documented processes and succession plans ensure smooth operations. Continuity strengthens reputation and confidence. Prioritize guarantees over commissions to align the team with client outcomes. Focus on what the client receives, not what the team earns. This builds credibility and trust. Honesty guides every decision and strengthens relationships. Owning mistakes openly fosters loyalty. Clear communication reduces friction. In a commoditized market, trust and client focus set you apart. Straightforward, consistent service matters more than product complexity. Clients remember integrity above all. "Annuities are commodity products. We all sell the same thing. The Vancouver housing market has always been shaped by powerful forces — interest rates, government policy, global economics, and human psychology. But in early 2026, those forces appear to be colliding all at once, creating one of the most uncertain real estate environments the city has faced in decades. In this episode, we unpack the latest data revealing how dramatically the market has shifted. Sales in February fell another 10% year over year, following the lowest annual sales volumes in a quarter century. At the same time, home prices have now declined for 11 consecutive months — marking the second-longest price downturn in the region's modern history. For homeowners, investors, and prospective buyers alike, the central question is becoming unavoidable: how much further can the market adjust?Part of the answer lies in the broader economic backdrop. The market that once surged during the stimulus-driven boom of 2021 — fueled by ultra-low interest rates and unprecedented liquidity — is now navigating a dramatically different landscape. Today's environment is defined by global conflict, trade tensions, job insecurity, rapid technological disruption from artificial intelligence, and ongoing legal and political developments around land claims. The result is a level of uncertainty that has effectively frozen large segments of the housing market. At the same time, government policy is once again stepping into the spotlight. With transactions slowing and tax revenues under pressure, policymakers are beginning to introduce measures designed to stimulate activity. One of the most notable is the federal government's proposed housing affordability legislation, Bill C-4. If finalized, the measure would eliminate the federal GST on qualifying new homes for first-time buyers, potentially saving purchasers up to $50,000. While supporters argue this could meaningfully improve affordability, critics question whether demand-side incentives will meaningfully address supply shortages or simply inflate prices once again.Mortgage stress is also beginning to appear in the data. Canada's mortgage arrears rate has climbed to a five-and-a-half-year high, while British Columbia's arrears rate has reached its highest level in nearly a decade. Although the numbers remain low historically, the trend is notable — particularly as 2026 represents the largest mortgage renewal year in Canadian history. With millions of borrowers transitioning from ultra-low pandemic-era rates to significantly higher borrowing costs, economists are watching closely to see whether arrears continue to rise.Interest rate expectations remain relatively stable for now. Bond yields have recently moved higher following geopolitical tensions, pushing fixed mortgage rates upward as well. The Bank of Canada is widely expected to hold rates steady through most of 2026, leaving borrowers with little - further - relief in the near term. And yet, not all signals point to collapse. Days on market have recently shortened, suggesting some buyers are beginning to re-enter the market as prices soften. Meanwhile, the sales-to-active listings ratio has moved out of deep buyer-market territory — a reminder that Vancouver's market rarely stays in extreme conditions for long. The coming months will determine whether this downturn becomes the longest in Vancouver's modern housing history — or whether the marke _________________________________ Contact Us To Book Your Private Consultation:

I'll be honest: I have a hard time with the idea of kids on social media. And still… the reality is: Teens (and preteens) are being pulled into this world, and parents are left trying to make sense of it. So, we sat down with Meta to find the safest way to protect our kids in these social media times. In this conversation, Kristin interviews Tara Hopkins (Global Director of Public Policy at Instagram/Meta — and a mom of two teens) and asks the questions parents actually have about Teen Accounts, content exposure, messaging, time limits, AI, and what “safety” really means in a world of short-form dopamine loops.Full disclosure, this episode isn't going to leave you saying, “social media is perfect.” But, if you've already given your child Instagram, if you're curious what limits you can place for your kid begging for social media, or you know someone in the thick of it, you'll walk away knowing *exactly* what you can, and can't do, to protect your kid online, which is exactly what I hoped. This is an information-forward, real-world conversation for parents who want to understand:• What Instagram Teen Accounts actually are and what happens inside them• What protections are in place for teens (and where parents can take a step further) • How Meta approaches sensitive content and teen safety• How time limits, sleep settings, and parental permissions work• Where AI fits into all of thisMy hope is simple: more clarity, less spiraling. Whether you're firmly in the “no social media” camp, already navigating it with your teen, or you can feel the pressure creeping in… this episode gives you a clearer picture of what's being built, how to use parameters that already exist, and what questions still deserve answers.Disclaimer: you have to be 13+ to use Meta platformsFor access to more helpful tools and expert guidance, parents can visit https://familycenter.meta.com.● Instagram Teen Accounts —now inspired by 13+ movie ratings—are designed to give parents peace of mind that their teens are safer with the right protections in place. Facing tough circumstances on the second night of a back-to-back, the Hornets headed into Boston and got off to a hot start, as Charlotte won its sixth-straight game in wire-to-wire fashion, 118-89. Hornets Radio Network Manager Rob Longo and the host of Hornets Postgame on the flagship station Sports Radio WFNZ Will Palaszczuk analyze the game and pick their stars of the night, and the two also discuss if this was the most impressive win for the Hornets so far this season as the team is back above .500 for the first time since October.

Host Grant Mona brings you a high-energy Wednesday edition of The Sporting Tribune Today, capturing the pulse of Los Angeles sports after a night of massive statement wins. From a gritty fourth-quarter surge at Crypto.com Arena to a defensive masterclass at Pauley Pavilion, we've got all the locker room reactions. Segment One: Lakers Slam the Door on New Orleans The Los Angeles Lakers found themselves in a "rock fight" against the Pelicans, trailing by three heading into the fourth. Grant breaks down how a 17–7 run in the final six minutes secured the 110–101 victory. We hear from head coach JJ Redick on the team's "balanced" defensive identity and star Luka Dončić, who led the way with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Plus, hear from the Lakers' supporting cast on how they held New Orleans to just 14 points in the closing stretch to keep their climb up the Western Conference standings alive. Segment Two: Mick Cronin's Bruins Dominate the Top 10 In what Grant calls "the best they've played all year," the UCLA Bruins dismantled No. 9 Nebraska 72–52 in their home finale. We bring you the postgame presser from a rejuvenated Mick Cronin, who praises his team for shifting from their "worst defensive effort" to their "best." Freshmen standouts Trent Perry (20 points) and Eric Freeny share their thoughts on the intensity required to shut down a top-10 opponent and how this win officially cements their status as a dangerous out heading into the Big Ten Tournament. Topics include: Tyler Tanner was amazing in a win at Ole Miss. Officiating was again, a topic of conversation. Vanderbilt needs to get Tyler Nickel and Duke Miles back to their prior forms. Foul trouble, again, was an issue. Baseball has lost four straight and pitching effectiveness and health are big concerns. Plus, Brodie Johnston, Collin Barczi and Rustan Rigdon have all been absent for various reasons on the hitting side. The RPI and strength of schedule metrics work against Vanderbilt, for now. Some pitchers who weren't supposed to be factors this season may need to be factors after all. The directed towards Tim Corbin is absurd. And more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The segment kicks off with Nova Southeastern's historic 100-game winning streak, and while it's Division II basketball, Joe says it doesn't matter — winning 100 straight at any level is special and deserves recognition. The conversation shifts to the World Baseball Classic and the global buzz surrounding Shohei Ohtani, who continues to look like one of the favorites to take home WBC MVP honors. The crew talks about how Ohtani has become the most liked player in Major League Baseball, drawing massive crowds even for batting practice.
That's right. Straight up margarine.
For the 15th time this season, the Hornets held an opponent under the century mark, as Charlotte won its fifth-straight game, this time by a final score of 117-90 over Dallas. Rob Longo and Sam Perley break down the game and pick their favorite performances of the evening, and also preview Charlotte's game on the road at Boston as the Hornets face the Celtics on night two of a back-to-back.
The Golden State Warriors dropped two in a row to Los Angeles teams. On "Dubs Talk," Bonta Hill and Monte Poole break down the Warriors' loss to the Clippers before looking ahead to what Golden State should do with Steph Curry and Kristaps Porziņģis as a spot in the play-in tournament seems all but inevitable. (02:30) - The Warriors come up short to the Clippers 114-101 after a rough second half sees a 14-point halftime lead slip. (08:00) - Draymond Green has been unusually quiet in front of the media. (12:45) - The Clippers made their big third-quarter run once Draymond went to the bench. Should Steve Kerr have bumped up Draymond's minutes to defend Kawhi Leonard? (16:15) - De'Anthony Melton has been struggling as he moves up the scouting report. (23:00) - Curry will be re-evaluated for his runners knee injury in ten days. How should the Warriors handle his situation the rest of the season? (27:15) - The Warriors would still like to see Steph play with Porziņģis before the end of the season. (35:30) - How do you evaluate Porziņģis with the amount of games he has missed? (39:00) - Atlanta Hawks fans feel like Jonathan Kuminga could change their franchise, Porziņģis has struggled to get on the court. (43:30) - Nate Williams was a bright spot for the Warriors against the Clippers. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Today's daily comedy episode proves two things: kids are expensive, and karaoke should absolutely require a permit. We kick things off with an email that had the entire studio arguing like a courtroom drama sponsored by Fisher-Price. A military family's kid chucks a Lego at a friend's 75-inch QLED TV (because of course it was a 75-inch QLED), leaving a tiny but permanent “oops” mark. They do the right thing and offer to replace it — $1,200 later — only to find out the “damaged” TV is getting relocated to the daughter's room. Wait… what? Is that justice? Is that capitalism? Is that just the cost of letting children exist in your home? Rizz, Moon, and King Scott debate responsibility, friendship, and whether the real solution is simply moving to a new town and changing your identity. Then we dive into the wildest dating trend we've heard in a while: “Alpine Divorce.” It sounds like a seasonal IPA. It is not. It's apparently when someone strands their partner in the wilderness as punishment. Romantic! Nothing says “I love you” like abandoning someone mid-hike because they forgot a water bottle. We unpack the psychology behind it and question how this is even a thing. Ghosting? Bad. Ghost-lighting? Worse. Alpine Divorce? Congratulations, you're on a watch list. And then — because we care about the people — we establish the official list of karaoke songs that should be considered arrestable offenses. Whitney Houston? Jail. Bohemian Rhapsody? Straight to court. “My Heart Will Go On”? Emotional felony. The crew breaks down the crimes, the charges, and the sentencing guidelines for murdering everyone's ears at your local bar. It's the kind of public service announcement only a true daily comedy show would dare to provide.Between parenting disasters, dating red flags, and musical war crimes, this episode has everything you expect from your favorite St. Louis daily comedy chaos factory. You've been warned. There are moments in radio history where legends are made. This is not one of those moments. This is the episode where we voluntarily ate jelly beans that taste like burnt rubber, liver and onions, wet dog, and — yes — actual stink bug… all in the name of giving away concert tickets.Welcome to the Rizzuto Show's most statistically impossible round of “Good or Gross.”In today's funny podcast, the gang breaks out a fresh batch of Bean Boozled beans that have been “warming in the sun” like that somehow improves the situation. We spin the wheel, let callers predict “good” or “gross,” and if they're right, they win tickets. If they're wrong? We suffer. That's the system. That's the chaos. That's radio, baby.Flavors on deck include:• Booger or Juicy Pear• Burnt Rubber or Licorice• Liver & Onions or Cappuccino• Toothpaste or Berry Blue• Stinky Socks or Tutti Frutti• And the nightmare fuel: Stink BugMoon debates abandoning the building if he pulls stink bug. King Scott questions whether we even have time for this nonsense. Toothpaste becomes an accidental blessing. At one point, a bean hits the floor and we briefly consider just… eating it anyway. Because professionalism. But here's the twist: we go FIVE straight “good” beans in a row. Five. In a game designed for suffering. Either the jelly bean gods smiled upon us, or the matrix glitched.Listeners walk away with tickets to Filter, Finger Eleven, Young the Giant, and Point Fest while we walk away with lingering flavor trauma and a renewed distrust of speckled candy. This episode is pure funny podcast chaos — the kind where optimism meets gastrointestinal fear and somehow wins. If you love a daily show that blends concert giveaways, food challenges, sarcasm, and a room full of adults questioning their life choices, this is your flavor (hopefully not stink bug). The Rizzuto Show continues to prove why this funny podcast is basically group therapy with worse snacks.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
