We dive into Fear Factory for the first time ever on the pod, and this is a concept album: just ask the band members. Or maybe only ask one of them, because if you compare all of their answers, no one is *really* sure what this album is about. What we DO know is that Police 2000 are involved. An album that flirts with nu-metal but never quite gets there, we both agree that Fear Factory would've been better off doing a full Nu turn, because that's when they're at their best. "Edgecrusher" is an all-time Nu song and every song has moments where the band sounds amazing. In between that, it's Burton C. Bell singing pretty badly, some pretty boring guitar parts, a whack of 6-minute songs, and a WHOLE lot of lore that imagines a dystopian world not unlike every dystopia you've ever heard of before, one where...get this...machine begins to rule man. I know, crazy, right? If you wanna get even more crazy, why not donate to the show? For just $4/month you'll get access to THREE brand-new bonus episodes every damn month. Last month, Bryan and John dug into Lil Wayne's rock epic "Rebirth", which is one of the most interesting curios we've ever covered on the show. Our Celebrity News starts with a Welcome back to The Rizzuto Show, your favorite daily comedy show where deep philosophical questions last about 90 seconds before turning into chaos.Today's episode starts deceptively thoughtful: What genre is your life? Comedy? Horror? Rom-com? Greek tragedy? Straight-to-DVD disappointment? The crew breaks it down in the only way they know how — by roasting each other, name-dropping directors, and somehow landing on Tim Burton, Judd Apatow, Michael Bay, and Tommy Wiseau in the same breath. From there, things escalate fast. The gang debates the worst Super Bowl halftime show of all time, re-litigates Maroon 5's shirtless crimes against humanity, and tries (and fails) to agree on whether Bad Bunny, Kid Rock, or literally anyone else should be allowed near a halftime stage ever again. Spoiler: nobody wins. For you music nerds get fed too. KISS casually hits one billion YouTube views, Queen's touring future sparks debate, Aerosmith dreams are manifested aggressively, and a wild Paste Magazine “Top Guitarists of All Time” list sends the room into full disbelief when legends are left off and Prince reigns supreme. There's also real-world stuff mixed into the madness — heartfelt tributes, shocking news updates, and moments where the show accidentally becomes emotional before immediately undercutting it with jokes (as tradition demands).Basically, this daily comedy show has everything:Existential life questionsSuper Bowl halftime rageRock music historyQuestionable celebrity listsAccidental documentaries about being humanAnd the reminder that everyone's life is probably a comedy… just shot very poorlyIf you're here for a funny podcast, a daily show that refuses to stay on topic, or a comedy podcast that feels like your group chat came to life on the radio — congratulations, you're home.Stick around, subscribe, and prepare to question what genre your life is… while we absolutely do not fix ours.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MOSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

You can't change what you don't feel.Ever notice how fast anger shows up the moment you realize you messed up?You cut someone off in traffic. You miss something obvious at work.Your partner calls you out—and suddenly you're defensive, pissed, explaining, blaming, or shutting down. This episode of The Evolved Caveman Podcast is about that moment—the split second when your body reacts before your character ever gets a vote. Here's the uncomfortable truth most men were never taught:Those reactions aren't a failure of willpower, maturity, or intelligence. They're nervous system reflexes. In this episode, Dr. John Schinnerer breaks down why being “wrong” often feels like a threat to survival, how your fight–flight–freeze–fawn responses hijack your behavior, and why “just calm down” has never worked (and never will). You'll learn how shame disguises itself as anger, logic, withdrawal, or people-pleasing—and what's actually happening inside your body when it does. This isn't therapy-speak or pop psychology. It's real-world, practical clarity for men who want self-mastery instead of self-judgment.Inside the episode: - Why mistakes register as danger in the nervous system - The 3 protective states that drive defensiveness, shutdown, and people-pleasing - How to spot when you're reacting from self-protection instead of choice - What secure, grounded responses actually sound like in real life - A simple, actionable reset practice you can use in the moment - The golden rule: Regulate first. Repair second. Explain last (or never). If you care about your relationships, your leadership, or the kind of man you are under pressure, this episode is essential listening.Because emotional maturity isn't about never screwing up.It's about being able to tolerate being wrong—without attacking yourself or anyone else.Listen in. Sit with it. Notice your patterns this week—not to fix them, but to understand them. That's where real change begins.Want a Higher Baseline of Calm, Confidence, and Control? Start Here…

Is getting straight A's actually preparing you for a successful, fulfilling life… or could it be quietly working against you?   For many of us, being the "good student" became part of our identity early on, shaping how we measure success, effort, and even our worth. But what happens when life no longer hands you a clear rubric, a step-by-step roadmap, or external validation for doing things "right"?   Join me this week as I explore why straight A's aren't always the advantage we think they are. I unpack how perfectionism, all-or-nothing thinking, and reliance on external validation can actually make growth harder later in life, and why real life requires nuance, trial and error, and the ability to tolerate being "good enough" in some areas so you can go all in on what truly matters.   Pro Coach Camp starts February 16th, 2026! People aren't ignoring your content because you're bad at marketing. They're ignoring it because it sounds like everyone else. Service businesses are overexplaining, softening their words, and adding context nobody asked for. And in 2026, that's exactly what makes people scroll past. I'm Veronica Di Polo, marketing strategist and host of the Branding Momentum Podcast, based in Moraira, Alicante, Spain. I help service-based business owners get clients by saying the right thing, clearly, without dressing it up. In this episode, I talk about why being direct works better than being polite, why shorter messages land harder than long explanations, and why clarity beats clever every single time when people are deciding who to hire. This is not about being aggressive. It's about being clear. If you sell your brain, your skill, or your time, this episode will feel familiar for a reason.

Brent Axe recaps Syracuse basketball's 88-68 loss to NC State.  The Orange have hit the low point of Adrian Autry's tenure as head coach as it hit its first four-game losing streak under the Orange head coach.  Quadir Copeland, a guard Syracuse told to hit the road two years ago, dropped 19 points and 10 assists on the Orange in what turned into a blowout loss.  Axe discusses how some of the same old mistakes haunted Syracuse in loss including a lack of offensive cohesion and quality shots at the hoop. Now you can add in some defensive breakdowns to the mix as SU's zone got ripped apart by the Wolfpack.  Things have never been worse under Autry for the 12-9 (3-5) Orange and there are still 10 games to play in the regular season.  The conversation on Syracuse Sports and our live Syracuse basketball postgame shows is always shaped by terrific insight from Syracuse Sports Insiders.  Become a Syracuse Sports Insider today!  Sign up at joinsubtext.com/syracusesports to get your voice heard on the SU football postgame show and have direct text message access to Brent Axe anytime. The guys launch into a sobering conversation about why atrocities like the Holocaust can never be reduced to opinion or explained away, and why denying such evil ultimately erodes the very idea of right and wrong. Drawing on the works of C.S. Lewis, they wrestle with where moral truth comes from, why it exists beyond personal preference, and how abandoning it opens the door to history's darkest chapters. Today's conversation is about Lesson 1 of C.S. Lewis on Christianity taught by visiting Hillsdale professor Michael Ward. Take the course with us at no cost to you! Sign up at http://unashamedforhillsdale.com/. More about C.S. Lewis on Christianity: Encounter the faith & wisdom of C.S. Lewis C.S. Lewis's writings bring the great questions of the Christian faith to life. Through his imaginative and invigorating style, Lewis answers these questions in ways that are compelling to those outside Christianity and energizing to those within the Christian faith. In this free, seven-lecture course, Professor Michael Ward—a leading scholar of C.S. Lewis—will explore Lewis's: argument for objective moral value in response to the rise of modern subjectivism; bittersweet path to conversion and the role of enjoyment in the Christian life; advice regarding the proper way to pray and read the Bible; teachings concerning the purpose of pain and how to confront suffering and loss; insights about the nature of heaven and hell. This course examines these fundamental topics not only through his classic works—including Mere Christianity, The Screwtape Letters, and The Abolition of Man—but also through Lewis's personal experiences with doubt, conversion, suffering, grief, and joy. Through this course, students will discover Lewis's core lessons regarding the truth and goodness of the Christian faith and how to apply those lessons to one's life.  Join us today in discovering C.S. Lewis's enduring lessons about the meaning and practice of Christianity.
