Welcome to the In All Fearness podcast hosted by Shreya, a Millennial living in London, trying to make sense of all the ups and downs of life and the hidden lessons that fear and failure can teach you. In this podcast I aim to discuss modern day Millennial dilemmas, the trials and tribulations of ‘adulting’, and how we can move away from chasing perfection. In all fairness, it is completely human to feel fear and its okay to not be okay.
Moving OUT of my family home in the middle of a pandemic...am i crazy?! Or am I finally #adulting? Lockdown 2.0 has been a weirdly anxious one for me, Ive found myself lost in confusion and lacking motivation in comparison to the first lockdown. But we move, literally and I talk through some of the ways ive coped.
Do you ever find yourself in a constant cycle of download, delete, repeat? Or are you an avid dating app enthusiast? I'm joined by my two close friends, Sorrel and Katie, to unpick the highs and lows of dating apps, the effects that they have on individuals and in society as a whole and whether they can create thwarted or unrealistic ideals in finding love. Have Dating Apps made finding 'the one' easier or has it created a whole lot of extra drama in an already complicated arena?
In this two-part episode, I chat to my friend, fellow podcaster and upcoming author Dami Edun about the subtle forms of racism that still exist in the UK today and how we all have a long way to go in breaking down and understanding racist behaviour. We talk about the guilt that a lot of us will have faced in the last few months and how we can sit with that uncomfortable feeling and accept it to allow us to be better allies. It's okay to not get it right all of the time and regardless of how you choose to take a stand, learning to acknowledge mistakes and listening to those who have lived experiences can help in driving change and bringing communities closer together. An introduction to yours truly and the lessons I've learnt so far in my journey to adulthood.
A brand new podcast hosted by Shreya Shah that aims to address modern day millennial dilemmas, the ups and downs of #adulting and encourage everyone to be okay with not being okay. In all fairness, we're only human, and we weren't meant to be perfect.
