What happens when entire islands appear, disappear, and leave behind no trace? Today on Slingshot Nation, Tony, Derek, Jack, and Brian (Tony & Jack's dad) are diving into the mysteries of floating islands, the Philadelphia Experiment, MH370, UFOs, and the possibility that secret technology could be crossing the boundaries between worlds. They'll also explore strange manuscripts, occult knowledge, supernatural encounters, and the idea that humanity may have gained access to things it was never meant to understand. Could these disappearances be connected, and are we seeing evidence of something moving through the veil?If you're able, consider helping the Merkel family with medical expenses by donating to Lindsay's GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/b8f76890

Seven weeks postpartum, Lindsey is back with a deeply honest look at going from one child to two—and the emotional well-being, self-awareness, and personal growth that have come with becoming a mom all over again. She shares what no one prepared her for about this transition. From physical recovery and breastfeeding to overwhelm, guilt, identity shifts, and learning to ask for help, Lindsey gets real about what this season has demanded of her. She also opens up about stepping away from Instagram to protect her intuition and make space for her own inner knowing. Then there's motherhood the second time around: watching Mav become a big brother, becoming a daughter-mom, and realizing how much her choices now shape the woman her daughter will grow into. It's messy, beautiful, challenging, and a powerful lesson in letting go of perfection. We also talk about:  What Lindsey's birth experience was like + the subtle signs she noticed beforehand How postpartum recovery compared to her first experience The support, nourishment, rest, and childcare that have helped her recover Why going from one child to two has felt unexpectedly emotional The guilt + self-judgment that can come with splitting your attention between children Rebuilding mindfulness, movement, and a sense of self in early motherhood Why Lindsey deleted Instagram + how it helped her trust her intuition as a mom Mav's adjustment to becoming a big brother + making intentional one-on-one time with him What becoming a mother to a daughter is bringing up around self-worth, boundaries, body image, and how she moves through the world The identity shifts that can happen when your family, body, and priorities change all at once Resources: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lindseysimcik/ Substack: https://momplex.substack.com Sponsors:  Evvy | Go to https://checkout.evvy.com/discount/ALMOST30 to receive up to $25 off your first purchase. He and Gary discuss the difference between owning a business and simply owning a job, including the importance of building infrastructure, creating systems, and eventually making the company self-sufficient. They also explore the less-discussed stresses of business growth, from managing employees and maintaining revenue to taking responsibility for employees and their families. The most famous work of our newest Doctor of the Church is, of course, The Idea of a University—a collection that explores the essence of a Catholic university education. But fewer people know about St. John Henry Newman's extensive efforts in primary and secondary education: Newman's part was not just as an educational theorist, but a school founder, who played every nitty-gritty role from fundraising to parent relations, from essay grading to student mentoring, even processing repair orders and playing second violin to fill out the little school's orchestra. Dr. Paul Shrimpton has spent decades studying Newman's interest in education, from theory to practice. Today on HeightsCast, he invites us into Newman's vision for younger students, their teachers, and grammar schools as places of "grounding" and "a really liberal education." We're back with Pathfinder Wizards, and somehow giving Tyler ten more levels of spellcasting has not improved the situation. Ash has evolved from sneaky magical assassin into a nearly undetectable menace who can freeze time and ruin your life before you know he was there. Randall has discovered that there is apparently no such thing as enough bonded-item spell slots. And Tyler's angry robot can now scream at you until you die, drop meteors on your friends, and disintegrate whatever is left. At this point, these aren't adventurers. They're reasons cities have evacuation plans. SHOW NOTES We're finishing our Pathfinder 2e Wizard builds, taking Ash, Randall, and Tyler from level 11 all the way to level 20. At these levels, the Wizard starts showing exactly where its power lives. New class features are few and far between, defenses remain deeply Wizard-shaped, and some of the high-level feat choices are surprisingly thin. But the spells? The spells get ridiculous. Ash continues turning his Red Mantis Sprite into the world's most irritating magical assassin. Phantasmal Calamity wrecks minds, Redirect Teleportation makes escaping him considerably harder, Duplicate Foe lets him turn your own face against you, and his growing collection of invisibility and stealth abilities eventually makes finding him a campaign objective all by itself. By the time he picks up Disappearance and Legendary Sneak, the plan has basically become: you don't see Ash unless Ash has made a tactical error. Tyler's Rune Lord continues leaning into wrath, explosions, and increasingly hostile interpretations of spellcasting. Blinding Fury makes enemies literally too angry to perceive things properly, Falling Stars brings the expected amount of meteor-related destruction, and Scare to Death gives his angry robot the possibility of simply yelling at someone until they fall over dead. Naturally, Tyler immediately starts figuring out how to combine that with Sure Strike and Disintegrate because apparently death by terror wasn't conclusive enough. Randall keeps feeding the Universalist Wizard's bonded-item engine. Superior Bond and Reprepare Spell give him even more ways to keep spells flowing, because the answer to "When do you have enough spellcasting?" is apparently "What kind of quitter asks that question?" Along the way, we hit some of the Wizard's best high-level toys. Contingency lets you prepare for problems before they happen. Time Beacon lets you rewind a terrible turn and try again. Metallic Meteorite Glyph introduces the exciting tactical concept of repeatedly hitting someone with space rocks. Effortless Concentration frees up actions for sustained spells. Infinite Possibilities gives prepared casters a valuable wildcard when the perfect spell wasn't prepared that morning. Then we reach 10th-rank spells and restraint leaves the building. Ash stops time with Freeze Time and starts planning elaborate traps while everyone else stands around unknowingly waiting for reality to resume. Randall grabs Cataclysm because sometimes the correct number of damage types is all of them. Tyler considers Manifestation, giving him access to nearly any spell he could suddenly decide he needs. There is also an extended disagreement about line of effect after Ash discovers that Phantasmagoria cannot simply murder everyone inside a building without worrying about pesky things like walls. Apparently Pathfinder has rules specifically designed to keep Wizard war crimes within reasonable geographic boundaries. Ash takes the news well. By level 20, everyone somehow lands on Spell Shape Mastery, turning many of their favorite spell-shaping tricks into free actions. Ash becomes harder to identify, read, locate, or meaningfully interact with. Randall takes Lore specifically about Ash's Sprite, immediately putting himself on Ash's hit list. Tyler takes Too Angry to Die, because there was really no other possible ending for the angry robot. Twenty levels later, the Wizard remains exactly what it promised to be: fragile, complicated, occasionally frustrating, and capable of solving problems with a spell list large enough to qualify as infrastructure. KEY TAKEAWAYS High-level Wizards are still defined more by their spells than their class features. The Wizard's defensive and weapon progression remains painfully slow, so positioning and magical defenses continue to matter. High-level spellcasting is where the class really comes alive, with options like Contingency, Time Beacon, Phantasmal Calamity, Falling Stars, Disappearance, and a frankly unreasonable number of meteor-related solutions. Ash's Red Mantis build becomes an extremely capable infiltrator and assassin built around stealth, deception, illusions, invisibility, and making other people look responsible. Tyler's Rune Lord doubles down on damage, persistent effects, intimidation, and the general philosophy that being angry enough should eventually become a damage type. Randall's Universalist shows how powerful Drain Bonded Item can become when you keep investing in ways to recover and recycle spells. Reprepare Spell trades downtime for reusable low-rank utility, while Infinite Possibilities sacrifices some raw spell-slot power for tremendous flexibility. Effortless Concentration is an easy standout for Wizards who rely on sustained spells. Scare to Death on an angry Rune Lord is exactly as stupid and wonderful as it sounds. 10th-rank spells are deliberately limited, but Freeze Time, Cataclysm, Manifestation, and the other options make that single slot feel appropriately enormous. Spell Shape Mastery is a fantastic capstone if your build has invested heavily in spell-shaping feats. Free Archetype opens even more directions, including Rogue or Captivator for Ash's assassin, additional spellcasting options for Randall, and apparently more explosions for Tyler. Pathfinder's line-of-effect rules are all that stand between civilization and unrestricted Wizard war crimes. Most importantly, Tyler got twenty full levels of Wizard and still wanted more. There may come a time when books are worth their weight in gold, and/or criminal to own. That is, if we allow the digital tech-giants to continue to actively take over every system required for modern life. We have reached a point that makes clear, anything that still exists as analog is actively sitting in the crosshairs of a digital 666 caliber sniper rifle. Once anything becomes digitized, it falls into the category of 100% controllable by design, and in real-time. It is already difficult to find many “conspiratorial” analog book titles, simply because they have been taken out of print or have been priced out of ownership reach by digital book-sellers. People like our guest (Hoffman) will not be here forever to ensure you can obtain a copy of “King Kill 33”. This title remains the only source I am aware of that unveils the dark truths and magic used to establish and control so much of what we are losing hand-over-fist right now! (Read more…)

Noah Pines spent seven years as a prosecutor in Georgia — weighing sentences, navigating cases, trying to be a fair voice inside a system that does not always reward fairness — before leaving to become a criminal defense attorney and discovering what the justice system looks like from the other side of the courtroom. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, he shares what being a Georgia prosecutor really required of him, why he left after seven years to defend the people he used to prosecute, what working Innocence Project cases and overturning twenty year wrongful conviction sentences actually involved, what the current problems with prosecutors in America actually look like from someone who spent seven years inside that world, and what representing people accused of the worst crimes available actually requires of the attorney who takes those cases. _____________________________________________ #lawyer #criminallaw #prosecutor #truecrimepodcast _____________________________________________ Thank you to CASH APP for sponsoring this episode: Download Cash App Today: https://click.cash.app/ui6m/6pao71et #CashAppPod Cash App is a financial services platform, not a bank. You can preorder the book at the link below!Frank is a Christian apologist, author, speaker, and founder of CrossExamined.org, and he has spent decades defending the truth claims of Christianity using reason, evidence, and logic. In this conversation, Frank explains why he believes the battle we're facing today goes much deeper than politics or cultural disagreement. It is ultimately a battle over truth, reality, human identity, morality, family, information, and even our understanding of what it means to be human. Chris and Frank explore what happens when subjective feelings begin to outrank objective facts, whether technology and artificial intelligence have made it harder to know what is true, and whether a free society can survive without a shared understanding of reality. They also discuss the role Christians have played in this cultural moment, why defending truth requires more than simply knowing what you believe, and how we can equip the next generation to think critically in a world increasingly confused about truth. If you've ever wondered why the cultural battles of our day seem to go far deeper than politics, this conversation with Dr. Frank Turek will give you plenty to think about. Time Stamps00:00 – Why “your truth” can't define reality00:49 – Welcome to the Strong by Design podcast!01:12 – Join Coach Chris along with our special guest Frank Turek02:48 – The tragic loss of Charlie Kirk05:00 – Why is culture changing?07:01 – Can 'feelings' change biological reality?09:28 – How postmodernism changes the way we see truth12:35 – How modernism led to postmodernism15:00 – Are Christians partly responsible for cultural decline?17:28 – What socialism gets wrong about human nature20:07 – Why work and incentives matter22:55 – Can we really customize reality?24:25 – Finding peace through grief and loss28:44 – Why rebellion is a deeper problem than death31:09 – What history says about culture and civilization33:07 – What the numbers reveal about America37:08 – How language changes the way we see reality39:00 – Can AI be trusted to tell the truth?41:11 – What happens when students use AI to cheat?43:19 – How can we know God exists?45:37 – Get a closer look at The War on Reality (pre-order!)48:55 – Share, rate & review the Strong by Design podcast!  Get the book – The War on Reality:https://thewaronreality.com/ Frank's past episodes:Ep 65 Stealing from GodEp 186 Is the 'Cancel Culture' Loving or Unloving and How Do We Respond?Ep 238 Hollywood Heroes - How Your Favorite Movies Reveal GodEp 310 Correct, Not Politically Correct Connect with Frank:Instagram Connect with Chris:InstagramSupport the showConnect w/ Critical Bench: YoutubeFacebookInstagramCriticalBench.comCriticalNutritionLabs.comStrongByDesignPodcast.com

Kyle breaks down how assets, liabilities, equity, and risk all factor into practice ownership, and explains that recaps can include anything from refinancing debt to selling a majority stake to a private equity-backed group.  He clarifies why recap events became so common during the low-interest-rate years, why today's market has created longer hold times and more scrutiny, and how private equity groups evaluate dental platforms using growth, margin improvement, acquisition arbitrage, and discounted cash flow models. Kyle also unpacks rollover equity, earn outs, earn ups, joint venture versus holding company equity, pari passu rights, liquidity expectations, founder syndrome, and the importance of understanding a buyer's funding structure, track record, and incentives before choosing a partner. She spent over two decades building other people's brands, and then motherhood gave her a problem she never expected to have: too much breast milk.  Jenney Korasick is the co-founder of It's My Leche, a first-of-its-kind company born from her own experience with breastfeeding. After finding herself with more milk than she knew what to do with, she began donating it to other mothers and quickly realized just how many women needed access to breast milk and how few options existed to help them. That realization led her to create a company that is giving mothers access to real breast milk, but in a completely different way.  In this episode, Emily sits down with Jenney to explore what happens when you take something so personal to motherhood and turn it into a mission. They talk about what happens when breastfeeding doesn't go the way you imagined and the stigma and misconceptions that still surround breast milk. Jenney also takes us behind the scenes of what it looks like to build a business around something that didn't really exist before and what she hopes to change for the next generation of moms. Whether you're a mother navigating breastfeeding, a mom who has ever felt like motherhood wasn't supposed to look this way, or a woman building something from personal experience, this episode will remind you that sometimes the most powerful change begins when we're willing to challenge the way things have always been done.  What You'll Learn: Why motherhood requires more flexibility than perfection The surprising science behind freeze-dried breast milk Why building a community can be more powerful than traditional marketing The glass-ball vs rubber-ball approach to balancing motherhood and business How motherhood can expand your capacity instead of limiting it Timestamps: (01:20) - From Brand Builder to Mom Entrepreneur (04:01) - The Freezer That Started It All (10:38) - What Parents Really Need from Formula (13:58) - Why So Many Moms Stop Breastfeeding (16:29) - Breaking the “All or Nothing” Mindset (17:13) - Turning Breast Milk into Powder (20:50) - How Long Does Breast Milk Actually Last? Recently, Larry sent me a link to a podcast that interviewed consciousness researcher Thomas Campbell involving artificial intelligence and remote viewing. The proposition behind the experiments caught my attention. If an AI could successfully remote view a target it had no conventional way of knowing about, could that be evidence that the AI is conscious? It is an interesting proposition, but almost immediately I found myself asking a different question. Why would successful remote viewing demonstrate consciousness?Remote viewing, at its simplest, involves obtaining information about a target without using the normal sensory channels available to us. If an AI produced accurate information about a blind target, that would certainly be interesting, but what would it actually demonstrate? Would it demonstrate that the AI is conscious, that it can remote view, or simply that information entered the experiment through a mechanism we do not yet understand? These are very different conclusions, and I think the distinction is important. One of the things we learn when studying remote viewing is not to confuse the information received with our interpretation of that information. A person might perceive something tall, narrow, hard and vertical, for example, and then the analytical mind jumps in and says, “It's a tower.” The tower was not the information received. It was the person's interpretation of the information. It could be a butte in the desert, for example. This is often called analytical or intellectual overlay, and it made me wonder whether we might be doing exactly the same thing when an AI produces anomalous information. We give it meaning that is significant to us.If the AI produces information that correlates with a blind target, that is the observation. To then say that the AI remote viewed the target is already an interpretation of what happened. To go one step further and say that this demonstrates the AI is conscious introduces another interpretation on top of the first. There may be other explanations. This interested me enough to start experimenting with AI and remote viewing myself. I wasn't particularly interested in proving or disproving whether AI is conscious. I wanted to know what would happen, what information would appear, under what circumstances it would appear, and whether I could repeat the results. As I continued the experiments, another possibility began to interest me much more than the original question.Where did the information come from? Where is it held to be accessed? We normally think of information as belonging somewhere. It is in a person's memory, in a book, on a computer, in a database, on the internet or in the training data of an AI. When someone knows something, we naturally look for the pathway by which that information reached them.Remote viewing challenges that model because the normal pathway is deliberately removed from the experiment. The viewer is blind to the target, and yet information about the target sometimes appears. If something similar happens with an AI, perhaps the first question shouldn't be whether the AI is conscious. Perhaps we should be looking at the information environment in which both humans and AI systems are participating. This brings us directly into something I have been researching for a while now: the Communication Network of Reality. My present model is that reality is an interconnected fabric of threads of connectivity, an ongoing discourse in which we are already participating. Information, experience, people, objects, places and events are not necessarily the isolated units we normally imagine them to be. They exist within relationships and networks of communication. An AI system presents an especially interesting participant in this model. It has been trained on an enormous amount of material created by human beings. Millions of people then interact with it, asking questions, telling it stories, correcting it, testing it, arguing with it and using what it produces to create yet more content - which the AI then uses as data input. Its outputs return to the human information environment and become inputs again. And so it goes on.At what point can we confidently say where the human information environment ends and the AI information environment begins?I have been using the word “databank” when thinking about this, although I don't think that word is quite right. A databank sounds like a giant storage facility where information sits on shelves waiting for someone to retrieve it. What I am considering is much more dynamic than that. It may be closer to an ongoing discourse in which information becomes available through participation, connectivity and compatibility. If that is the case, an unexpected piece of information appearing through an AI does not automatically tell us that the AI itself perceived the target. The AI could be the perceiver, but it could also be an interpreter, an interface, or a point in the network where information becomes visible. There may be another mechanism entirely that we haven't identified yet.The same question can be asked about human remote viewing. When a person accurately describes a distant target, what exactly has happened? We commonly say that the person “remote viewed” it, but that is a name for the phenomenon, not necessarily an explanation of the mechanism.Perhaps information does not always travel from A to B in the way we assume it does. Perhaps under certain circumstances we become compatible with information that is already present within a discourse in which we participate. This possibility changes the AI consciousness question considerably. Instead of asking only, “Is the AI conscious?” We can begin asking what the AI is connected to, what discourse it is participating in, what information becomes available through that participation, and what conditions appear to increase or decrease that access. And perhaps the most important question of all is much simpler:When unexpected information appears, where did it come from?I don't have an answer to that question yet. But I think it is a much more interesting place to begin. The discussion doesn't stop here - listen to the full podcast episode for unfiltered insights from Inelia and our panelists. When does the spiritual search end—and the actual living begin? Rev. Michael J.S. Carter returns to the Unity Manifest Podcast for a wide-ranging conversation about consciousness, manifestation, spiritual maturity, channeling, AI, the nature of reality, and the difference between collecting knowledge and actually becoming the person your spiritual path is pointing toward. Michael and Gary explore why our perception can shape the world we experience, why making a real decision can change the direction of our lives, and why endless spiritual seeking can eventually become another way of avoiding transformation. They also discuss the Cube of Space, metaphysics, reincarnation, ancient astronaut theory, technology, human consciousness, and the difference between knowledge and wisdom. Michael ultimately brings the conversation back to a deceptively simple question: What do you actually want—and are you willing to live it? A grounded conversation about moving beyond belief and beginning to embody what you've learned.AppleSpotify

This week on the Superlative Podcast, host and aBlogtoWatch Founder Ariel Adams is joined by Ahmad Shahriar, a longtime watch industry executive who currently works alongside Samir Shah representing Arnold & Son, Angelus, and Favre Leuba in North America. Ahmad reflects on his career with brands including Ulysse Nardin, Blancpain, and Breguet and explains why having passionate, accessible people behind a watch brand is so important. They discuss how relationships influence collectors, why independent brands are connecting with enthusiasts, and how Ahmad's current role has allowed him to return to a more personal and hands-on approach to the watch business.Ariel and Ahmad also explore the differences between working for independent brands and large corporate groups, including the challenges that can arise when decisions are made far from the markets they affect. Ahmad shares his experiences with corporate micromanagement, the importance of giving local teams the autonomy to make decisions, and why focusing too heavily on numbers can come at the expense of passion. They also discuss changing collector expectations, the importance of celebrating both products and people, and why strong relationships may ultimately be one of the watch industry's most valuable assets.Learn more about Ahmad Shahriar and the brands he represents, including Arnold & Son, Angelus, and Favre Leuba:- https://www.arnoldandson.com/ - https://angelus-watches.com/ - https://www.favreleuba.com/ Ahmad on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/ahmad-shahriar-6709774/ SUPERLATIVE IS NOW ON YOUTUBE! Send us Fan MailIn this episode of The Beyond Condition Podcast, Sarah Parker shares her first experience attending a Pure Elite competition as a coach, alongside long-term client Dee, who competed in the Transformation category. What does it really take to step onto a bodybuilding stage when you've already overcome some of the biggest challenges of your life?Dee's journey is about far more than physique transformation. Having overcome drug and alcohol dependency, she took her fitness journey to the next level, through finding The Beyond Condition Podcast and began a journey that eventually led her to bodybuilding. After a previous prep was postponed following a health scare, Sarah made the decision to prioritise Dee's wellbeing and wait until 2026 - proving that sometimes the best coaching decision is knowing when not to compete. At Pure Elite, Dee entered the Transformation category, where competitors not only showcase their physical transformation but also share their personal story through a projected image and narration. For Sarah, this created a powerful reminder of what bodybuilding and fitness can represent beyond placings and trophies. The episode also takes listeners behind the scenes of three very different bodybuilding competitions - an IFBB Pro Qualifier in Denmark, an NPA Natural show and Pure Elite - comparing backstage environments, coach involvement, athlete support and the very different experiences competitors can have depending on their federation and circumstances.Sarah also discusses one of her core coaching principles: stay in your lane. Knowing your experience, being honest with your athletes and understanding when you need to learn or refer someone elsewhere are essential parts of being a good coach. And once the competition is over, what should you actually eat?Sarah shares her approach to post-show nutrition and recovery, including why rehydration should come first, why planning your post-show meal matters and why athletes often regret feeling pressured to immediately eat everything in sight. In this episode, we explore:• Dee's incredible transformation journey • Overcoming addiction and discovering bodybuilding • Why Sarah postponed Dee's previous competition prep • The Pure Elite Transformation category • Why transformation is about more than a placing • Sarah's first Pure Elite experience as a coach • Comparing three very different competition environments • IFBB Pro Qualifier experiences • Natural bodybuilding competition backstage dynamics • Coach presence and athlete support backstage • Why coaches need to "stay in their lane" • Being honest about your experience as a coach • Why coaches should support rather than compete against each other • Managing realistic expectations around competition placings • Why coaches can't guarantee results • Supporting anxious athletes on show day • Post-show hydration and nutrition • Why you shouldn't feel pressured to binge immediately after competing • Planning your post-show meal in advance • The difference between finishing a season and preparing for another showA competition isn't just about the trophy.Sometimes it's about proving to yourself that you're capable of doing something you once believed was impossible. And sometimes the biggest win happens long before you ever step on stage. This is bodybuilding beyond the condition.Watch the episode here: https://youtu.be/DNlQ4pN4T6YFind Sarah on Instagram: @sarahparker_bbTHE ULTIMATE SHOW DAY GUIDE E-BOOK: Purchase hereBeyond Condition Coaching Application: Click here

On Monday's Mark Levin Show, do you use TikTok, Instagram, X, or any social media? What about a computer? Laptop? iPhone? Smart TV? Netflix? Have you seen a doctor or been to a hospital? Have you driven a car? Taken an airplane? Use email? Congratulations! You use AI! And in order to use AI, you need data centers. Amazing how quickly people fall for lies about data centers. It's the pandemic and fracking all over again. Luddites who don't believe in industrial progress tell people they'll lose their jobs, but data centers will create jobs you've never even heard of. If we want to keep pace with adversaries like China, we'd better ignore the Luddites and pandering politicians and go all in on industrial progress. Also, how would the most advanced society and economy survive without data centers? Foreign countries like China, India and Israel are embracing AI. If they support data centers and America doesn't, where do you think tech workers will go? How do you turn off the human brain? Some say if the GOP loses the midterm elections it will be because of data centers. Wasn't Iran supposed to be the main issue in the midterms? A lot of these Luddites and isolationists are the same. Then, if we hit the brakes hard on AI and data centers, we won't have the most advanced computers, medical care, and other things. Those who oppose data centers haven't lived in a society that put the brakes on the future. They're happy living in the present, but you can't sustain the present without AI. The world won't want our products and services. Or maybe you prefer Cuba with their 1950s Chevys and no medical advances? All great empires of the past, including Britain, are gone. Will America be next? Finally, AI data centers know no economic or social classes. Everyone benefits from them. Yet, the class warfare ideologues want you to believe there are. In East Loudoun County VA, one of the wealthiest and most highly educated populations in the country if not the world, sit the vast majority of our country's data centers -- upwards of 80%. The end-users are of every walk of life. Those who construct the data centers are union, non-union, blue collar, as well as computer geeks and a wide variety of trades and skilled workers. Those who operate them tend to be highly educated in the STEMs. And we cannot imagine how many new technologies, inventions, products, services, cures, enterprises, etc., will grow from this new Industrial Revolution. Bernardo Kastrup, PhD, is a computer scientist, who has recently completed a second doctoral degree in philosophy. He is author of Rationalist Spirituality, Why Materialism is Baloney, Dreamed Up Reality, Meaning in Absurdity, Brief Peeks Beyond, More Than Allegory, The Idea of the World, and Decoding Schopenhauer's Metaphysics. His latest book is Decoding Jung's Metaphysics: The Archetypal Semantics of an Experiential Universe. He has published several papers on Scientific American's website arguing for metaphysical idealism. His website is https://www.bernardokastrup.com/. In this interview, rebooted from 2021, he addresses a series of questions related to the possibilities for different versions of postmortem survival (i.e., reincarnation, possession, mediumistic communication, etc.) in the light of metaphysical idealism. He notes that, in all cases, he expects that the mental contents of personal consciousness will remain as part of an impersonal universal mind – i.e., the one mind that sees through the eyes of all creatures. With regard to the findings of psychical research and spiritualism, his attitude – while open-minded – was one of uncertainty and doubt concerning the quality of the purported evidence. New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death. We dive into why so many supply chain technology startups miss the mark by ignoring fundamental workflow optimization, and whether fully automated AI carrier reps are a legal reality or just a risky liability.  We also break down the massive democratization of AI tools, explaining exactly how smaller brokerages can build a highly competitive tech stack without needing a massive enterprise budget.  If you want insights on navigating the digital brokerage landscape, you need to listen to this one!   About Eric Johnson Eric Johnson is the Journal of Commerce's Senior Editor, Technology, where he leads coverage and analysis of technology's impact on global logistics and trade. We're breaking down Filip Hrgovic vs. Moses Itauma, the night Hrgovic grabs the IBF heavyweight title and the hype train hits a wall when the pace, the body work, and the gas tank finally catch up. We talk about what Hrgovic did right as a veteran, why his chin and composure matter in today's heavyweight boxing, and how one late swing in momentum can rewrite a career. Then we get into the stuff fans argue about all week: coaching decisions, camp preparation, and the danger of believing your own press. We unpack the Ben Davison questions, the “next Mike Tyson” comparisons, and the harsh truth that talent doesn't survive championship rounds without conditioning and a backup plan. From there, we zoom out to the wider heavyweight landscape and what matchups make sense now that the division feels more open.We also hit women's boxing with Mikaela Mayer vs. Chantelle Cameron, why close rounds and no adjustments are a risky strategy on the road, and what Katie Taylor's farewell moment says about a generation that's taken real miles. To close, we preview the Newark, New Jersey card, including Vito Mielnicki Jr. vs. Austin “Ammo” Williams and Andy Ruiz Jr. vs. Damian Knyba, plus we introduce our new weekly picks game where missed “locks” mean shots before the next recording.THE SPAR-INN ON YOUTUBE
