In Her Voices - HerStories
Michelle is a yoga teacher who speaks the language of sensitive introverts and misfits, and loves the magic that happens when we find one another on the path. Michelle has taught yoga for over 20 years, and what started as poses on a mat has become equally about consumer choices, honest conversations, how she views and treats herself and others, and so much more. She currently offers yoga classes based on being kind to ourselves and cultivating intuition, as well as seasonal workshops on general health and wellness. Everything she offers acknowledges the full cycle of life, which includes death, so it's not uncommon for her to encourage you to engage with your grief as we make a practice of welcoming all of our parts or selves to the party. In the conversation with Michelle Marlahan we talk about how yoga has played a part in her journey with loss, grief and suffering. She talks about listening and healing her body by being exquisitely sensitive and the 10th Anniversary of Free Day of Yoga.
