A weekly podcast about life and the interesting things we encounter on our journeys. This is a safe place to be validated, share your experiences and to be reminded how awesome you are. Feedback and special requests are welcome at keepingitrealwithshayla@gmail.com
We are back! This episode will be a full immersion recap of the past 3 years. A LOT has gone down and a lot has changed. We know this for sure: I am worthy, I am adaptive, and I am depressed.
Shayla is easing back Into podcast life with a LOT of updates and a LOT to say. Let's go!
This episode I talk about how we conceived successfully this time, how my pregnancy has been so far and how to get through infertility challenges.
This episode is solely about infertility, miscarriage and family planning. There are some mentions of graphic experiences, so be aware this is mostly a woman’s point of view. We will also hear from an adoring husband about his role in infertility and how the process has effected him. This is a sensitive and taboo subject, we are here to share our stories and also let the women of the world know they are not alone and there are options!
This episode will be solely about depression, anxiety, addiction and other mental illnesses. Time to end the stigma, open up and raise awareness. I’m honored to have Baylee from Imagine Thriving featured on the episode today. Not only is she such a beautiful and strong woman, but an amazing example of overcoming obstacles and living her best life despite her trials and tribulations. Take a listen to what motivates her to share her story and help others find the help they need! Find Baylee at Baylee@imaginethriving.org or visiting Imaginethriving.org
This week I talk with Kimberly Elayyne about Invisible illnesses and her platforms for connecting with people who have their own invisible illnesses!
This week I talk about family dynamics, holiday traditions and taboos! Also, hear some funny snippets of my family!
Take the fourth seat in our conversation about diet, workouts and bodybuilding. Hear it straight from a recent first time bikini competitor Katie Suppa, and a PRO figure competitor and bodybuilding coach Kathy Kemper.
Here’s an introduction to my podcast! Stay tuned for new material very soon!
