The word “church” holds different meanings, depending on who you ask. In the Bible, there are lots of metaphors used to describe it. In our modern culture, it usually refers to a building, but should it? Today we will talk about it as we explore one of the metaphors used to describe it ... the body of Christ.
We can never finish the things we never start. Sometimes, we spend so much time thinking about how to start something that we never actually start it. This week, Pastor Brian will take us back to the Old Testament for a look at how Moses had a few excuses when God told him to go back to Egypt and free the Israelites. As we will see, God will always be with us and equip us if we just step out in faith.
He’s with you through the pain. He comforts you in the waiting. When you’re anxious about your future, He gives you courage. As you endure the storm, He keeps you safe in His arms. When we feel all alone, God is with us, and He gives us hope. Today, we'll talk about the storms we endure in this life and how, in every moment, God is with us.
