Welcome friends, this podcast has been born out of an excitement to share more with you, a spark of desire swelling into a wave of action: a couple of days later, here we are! My love, my heart, to yours and your journey. I hope this lifts you up, carries you higher, calling in connection and grace.
KIND Matters is back! This podcast is brought to you with compassion, as compassion is what I am left with after navigating the last couple of weeks between resistance and flow. Join me for episode 2 to explore what these two spaces represent and how we can recognise resistance, take back our power and spiral up into our natural place of flow. As always, with heaps of love and honesty from me to you.Links:WomanCode by Alisa Vitti - The book on hormones, periods, fertility, menopause and all things woman!AYA - Heal Me Now by my band AYA at the start and end of the showI love hearing from you! Welcome to the 1st episode in a series of KIND Matters by me, Jayna. A space for real talk, soul to soul, on healing, conscious living and truth. Here I will share honestly to the parts of you that are ready to soften and be inspired. Exploring ways we can release the blocks that hold us apart from our highest potential. Together we rise!In this episode, I am sharing my thoughts on the real work in life. To come to peace within ourselves, find presence and release our conditioning so that we can be free. For those of you I haven’t met yet:My experience lies in my long journey of recovery on many levels, my tools have been yoga, movement, the 12 step programs for addiction, meditation, experience and understanding of mental illness and cultivating conscious relationships. My anchors are nature, creative expression, my emotional and physical body. There have been many beautiful teachers, friends and mentors that have inspired and supported my growth. All of this and more has been my medicine for growth. On the more physical realm, I trained and worked as a professional Ballet and Contemporary dancer before staring KIND Yoga in 2015, offering spaces for people to connect to themselves through regular retreats, Yoga classes, sound healings and ceremonies across London and out in nature.I am in a band with my sister called AYA, which makes heavenly pop music using sister harmonies, minimal beats and deep bass lines (Heal Me Now by AYA in this episode’s intro and outro). We have toured in the UK and Europe, supporting cult band Lamb and performed in venues such as Shepherds Bush Empire and Manchester Cathedral.AYA can be streamed through all platforms: find us here at www.weareaya.com
