Regulations are Protections. Deregulation is all the rage these days. Regulations are blamed for everything from economic inequality to the financial crisis. On this episode, we explore what it would be like if we accomplished the libertarian acid rain filled wet dream of a deregulated White Man’s paradise. We look at the hard-fought battle for labor laws and the events that finally led to the few workers rights we enjoy today, including the tragic story of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory. We discuss many of the regulations the Trump Administration has slaughtered, and with that in mind revisit the stakes of the 2020 Election (with a few choice words for CNN). Finally, a quick look at the Death penalty and why it sucks rocks. #resist

We then discuss the terms we should use when discussing the Epstein case. Next, we dive into what rape culture really looks like and how it must change. Finally a celebration of women's soccer! #resist
On this episode, we cover a few highlights from the news that may have gotten lost beneath the glitz of the headlines and smoke bombs Trump enjoys to throw as a distraction, both good news and bad. Finally we cover the #StopTheBans rallies.
If our government was a baseball game, the fans would have stormed the field and chucked the umpires into the dugout by now. As our institutions are strained, seemingly toward the point of collapse beneath the weight of unprecedented American corruption, it is hard to not feel as though the fundamental understanding of our own system of government is upended, and dangerously distorted. We would be naive to assume our system will remain unbroken. Are we headed towards a societal collapse? By examining the science and history behind past collapses we can explore how close or far we may be, and what steps we can take to prevent such a fate. #RESIST

Check out this episode of K-Voice because Ann Coulter shut the government down, so why not hear about how cool it is to not be Mitch McConnell - who seems to have gone on a long fishing trip.
