From Mark 9:30-32Tiegreen, Chris. The One Year At His Feet Devotional (One Year Book). Tyndale House Publishers, Inc. Kindle Edition. So sorry for the prolonged time since the last episode. We recorded this back on March 30th, but have been so busy with transitioning our ministry to survive all of our canceled ministry engagements that it took a while to be able to get the time to get these uploaded and published. Here's what we originally wrote about this episode on the 30th of March:Although our Easter will be different than any of us have ever experienced in our lifetimes, the promise of Easter is the same. Praying for your health and safety during this time.Support the show (https://foreverfamilies.com/causes)

This one is from March 7th. And yes - we know last week was from March 15th! You'll notice us do that from time to time - do the devotionals out of order. That could be because we feel like we need to mix up the topics and themes from those we choose, or we may not have had a devotional on that day and wanted to go back and do it. That's one of the things we want to remind couples that are trying devotionals either for the first time, or again because you stopped doing them. The devil is constantly going to try to make you feel like a failure in this. Don't let him! So you skipped a day, a week, or months. Just pick back up and start again! God isn't going to pout and refuse to talk to you because He's been waiting by the phone for your call and now His feelings are hurt that you haven't reached out in a while. And who cares what day you do? He's also not going to refuse to listen to your devotional because you're on the wrong date! And while all that sounds crazy, it's that very kind of junk the devil tries to use to get us bogged down in either condemnation or legalism. Keep at it! You're doing great!Support the show (https://foreverfamilies.com/causes)
From March 15th Devotional. In a world of harsh words and online attacks, our marriage should be a place to retreat to, not a place that adds to the noise.Speaking of noise, sorry for the background airport noise! We have learned to retreat into our quiet times even in the midst of the hustle & bustle of travel!Support the show (https://foreverfamilies.com/causes)

This is from the Jan 4 devotional. We are just now including it because we didn't want to get too real too early and scare anybody away! As we go, we may do this from time to time. We're not so much worried about staying on the calendar schedule in the devotional as we are taking you on a journey that helps grow your comfort zone and gives you the best experience. Blessings!Support the show (https://foreverfamilies.com/causes)
