Crashing is a significant reality for motorcyclists, both on-road and off-road.  The good news is that most crashes are our own faults.  In Washington State, 75% of motorcycle fatalities were single-vehicle (meaning no other vehicles were involved) within a curve, meaning the motorcyclist had complete control over the situation.  For off-road riders, nearly 100% of crashes are caused by the rider.  If we don't want to be another statistic, learn how you have control over your own fate.
