In this ”Oscars Special”, we say goodbye to 2019 by publicly sharing our predictions for the winners at this year’s Academy Awards, and in the process surprise each other with our picks.

As January is coming to a close, we talk about the phenomena known as the “dumping ground”, before moving on to brighter subject matters, by looking at how the Awards Season has unfolded, before Dustin gives us a sneak peek behind the scenes of the Critics’ Choice Awards.

In this episode we dissect the Golden Globe Awards from last night and what it means for the Academy Awards going forward, but most importantly, who has bragging rights after predicting the most winners.

In this episode, each of us present our top 5 films from the past year, before getting a peek behind the scene of the 13th annual Houston Film Critics Award. In the last part, Dustin forces James and Adib to bet on who will win at this year’s Golden Globes, which hopefully won’t make this episode age too poorly.

In this holiday episode, we don’t talk about Christmas or any other holiday-themed movies. Instead, we muster up the courage to talk about the “last” Star Wars movie, and begin our awards talk by taking a gander at the Oscar Shortlists.
