Rich Keefe ranks every Star Wars movie from best to worst and explains where the Mandalorian and Grogu rank among them along with new horror movies he's excited to see.
In the sixty-fifth episode of Making Mt. Rushmore, host/moderator Steve Riddle welcomes Matt Ferrell and James Gruenberg to discuss which Star Wars Characters deserve a place on their respective lists. Is Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker a no-brainer? What about Luke Skywalker? Does Han Solo grab a spot? Does Obi-Wan Kenobi and Emperor Palpatine deserve a place? After that, they discuss which Star Wars Movies/TV Shows will be part of that grouping. Can you argue that Return of the Jedi shouldn't get a spot? Will the Empire Strikes Back be included? Is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in the conversation? What about Revenge of the Sith or the Bad Batch?

I talk about Scott Adkins latest movie and finding reviews of the new Star Wars movie from people who aren't the “go woke, get broke” people
A new Star Wars Movie usually excites the Lambs to a bleating frenzy, but this week's episode drew only the loyalist of fans. Matthew Poirier of the "Direct to Video Connoisseur" podcast and site, takes over the hosting duties while Richard is traveling. Matt's guests are Jeanette Ward and Todd Liebenow and they have things to say. Most of those things are good, but there is some criticism along the way. Everyone sees the seams of a series seasons worth of episodes being stitched together, but there were not really any complaints about it. Matt admittedly lets some digression in the conversation slip through, but that is the kind of thing that makes a show worth listening to.
THE LIGHTSABER LOUNGE: Rebellious Conversations about the Star Wars Universe.
Are Star Wars fans being sold a side quest instead of a main event? It was entertaining in a popcorn, theatre going way. A perfect, family-friendly outing. But did die-hard fans who've waited 7 years for a true Star Wars movie deserve more than a lengthy Mandalorian episode with some flashy effects?

To parapharse a single line from the Original Jurassic Park 'yeah ya Gonna Have Some Star Wars in this Star Wars movie HUH ??????? ' well STAR WARS is coming back to the movie theaters, its first movie in 7 years (small potatoes LOL LOL LOL compared to 17 years between Original and Perquel trilogies BTW), is a glorified extension of your Disney+ show *sigh* well at least your getting back to what ya'll NEVER should have left ........... so there is THAT reality. *sigh* 'Help us STARFIGHTER your our only HOPE' LOL LOL LOL LOL Hahahahahahahahahaha, but hey least Star Wars: Starfighter is on the horizon On the latest episode of Fandom Awakens Radio, your hosts David Senden and Kyle Wagner reaction to the latest trailer for the Mandalorian & Grogu, I will admit ONE thing this trailer does at least nudge the needle LOL LOL LOL hahahahahaha maybe NOT move it the way a STAR WARS needle should be moved before going into a STAR WARS movie, nice of them to put in 10 to 15 percent of STAR WARS in a STAR WARS trailer, what a CRAZY notion It maybe a SPLIT reaction going into this, put to paraphase a line taken from the Mandlorian himself "You like STAR WARS warm, You can like STAR WARS cold, You can like STAR WARS Mustafarian HOT !!!!!!!!!! at the end of the day STAR WARS .......... Is THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!", and isn't THAT what we ALL are here for regardless ??? a BRAND NEW episode of Fandom Awakens Radio starts RIGHT NOW !!!!!!!!!

In today's Daily Fix:After months of rumors, Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy is stepping down. She will return to producing films, which is what she did throughout the 80's and 90's until her appointment as President of Lucasfilm when George Lucas sold the company to Disney. Taking her place is Dave Filoni who is already overseeing several Star Wars projects, and Lynwen Brennan, who has held executive positions at Lucasfilm since 1999. In other news, Julian Gerighty is leaving Ubisoft—where he worked on The Division and Star Wars Outlaws—for a job working on Battlefield for Electronic Arts. And finally, infamously bad DS game Cory in the House is being review bombs—but the opposite way than what we're used to seeing. The positive buzz is a result of an internet joke that's also cause copies of the game to skyrocket on eBay.
Star Wars is heading into a new era as Kathleen Kennedy steps down after roughly 14 years leading Lucasfilm, shifting back to producing full time. In this quick breakdown, we talk through what her tenure delivered, why the leadership split between Dave Filoni (creative) and Lynwen Brennan (business and operations) makes sense, and why Filoni feels like the right choice to guide the next wave of Star Wars projects, including the Rey-focused movies. We also tease Kennedy's recent Deadline interview and what it may reveal about what's been happening behind the scenes.00:00 Major Lucasfilm changes, Kennedy's exit, and what her era produced00:19 Why it's worth remembering the wins alongside the debates00:32 The new leadership structure: Filoni on creative, Brennan on operations00:41 Why Filoni fits as a “fan first” creative lead00:52 Avoiding a “Clone Wars only” future and the importance of tentpole movies01:08 Kennedy's Deadline interview tease and quick wrap-upKathleen Kennedy is stepping down as president of Lucasfilm and moving into a full-time producing role. Her tenure covered the modern Star Wars era, from major films to the Disney+ expansion. The planned leadership approach splits creative direction and business operations, similar to other studio structures.Dave Filoni's background across key animated and live-action Star Wars projects positions him as the creative north star. The hope is balance: honoring what works in Star Wars while keeping the big-screen future moving forward.A deeper follow-up is teased based on Kennedy's Deadline interview and the behind-the-scenes details it includes.“Star Wars is going to go through some major changes.”“She took chances, and I respect the hell out of that.”“He's truly a fan first and executive second.”“You need those tentpole movies.”If you enjoyed the episode, subscribe to Geek Freaks Headlines, leave a quick review, and share it with #GeekFreaksHeadlines.
