Welcome to Episode 18 of My Parents Basement! Today my brother, Kevin, and I went for our first "Float". After 90 minutes of floating in our own individual isolation tanks, we decided to chat about our experience in the Upside Down. Float tanks, usually approx. 4' x 8', have a sealed door to block out light, and is filled with 10" of water and 200lbs of Epsom salt. This makes the water Hyper-buoyant, allowing you to float effortlessly on top of the water. It creates an isolated environment for you to achieve brain rest and relaxation.
