After a hiatus the Docs are back talking Covid precautions and functioning in "the new normal". 

Is the Hall technique an "out of sight, out of mind" approach? Or is it a mindful way to manage caries in less-than-ideal conditions? The Docs discuss their real world experiences with the technique. 

You know the joke. The patient is in the dental chair when the doctor says, "This tooth is going to need a root canal." The patient, upset, says, "I'd rather have a baby than a root canal!" After a moment the doctor responds... What's the most interesting part of being a dentist, the patients or the employees? Dr. Kris waxes nostalgic about some of his most interesting team members. Ahh the joys of practice ownership! 

It's been centuries since dental amalgam broke into the scene and it's been controversial ever since. The FDA says it's safe for patients over 6, yet Dr Oz claims it's toxic. It's falling out of favor among private practice dentists. So, "hands up, who's still using amalgam?"
