Parent Talk with Kary

Summers and vacations can be very stressful with kids out school and out of their normal routine.  I am going to give you some things to consider and think about when going on vacation or staying home.

I will address many stressors that most families have at the same of day!  It's that time between getting home from work or activities and getting the children to bed.  It's crazy and stressful in most homes and I will give you tips on how to make that much easier for everyone. 

I am going to address what Mindfulness is, the benefits to children and families, and how to teach children to be mindful.  Mindfulness is also called awareness, being present, being in the now, or being grateful.  It's about self regulation and being in control of your body. 

Almost everyone is back into the swing of school so let's talk a bit about what may be happening with some of you children and how to respond to things.  I will address the ever stressful bullying, homework, routines, peers and extracurricular activities.

Talking to your Children about SEX! Don't be afraid! I will help you to feel relaxed and more confident when talking to your children about their bodies and sex.  I will share what to say to a boy and a girl, when to share it, how to share it and why it's important.
