Episode 8 discusses various psychotherapeutic interventions for psychological problems.
Episode 10 deals with legal and ethical issues related to mental disorders.
Episode 2 introduces various etiological factors, theories, manifestations, assessments and psychotherapeutic managements of anxiety disorders and other neurosis.
Episode 1 begins with a discussion on the basic overview of abnormality. The various paradigms of abnormal psychology will be introduced. The complex bio-psychosocial factors that cause psychological disorders and the intervention for the disorders will be studied.
Episode 3 discusses the various etiological factors, theories, manifestations, assessments and psychotherapeutic managements of major psychological problems i.e. affective disorder, psychotic disorder and suicide.
Episode 4 discusses the interconnection between our mental and physical wellbeing. The physiological changes and medical diseases which are related to exposure to stress will be discussed. Manifestation and management of organic brain syndrome and mental retardation will be highlighted.
Episode 5 introduces various manifestations and managements of personality disorders. Manifestations and contemporary managements of psychological disorders related to substance misuse in our country are also discussed.
Episode 6 introduces the psychological problems that are related to sexual problems. The unconventional sexual disorders and issues regarding homosexuality will be discussed. Legal and social implications of sexual disorder will be highlighted.
Episode 7 describes the various psychological disorders of childhood and adolescents. Manifestations, assessments and psychotherapeutic managements of these disorders will be discussed.
