Andy is the Executive Director at Ashby House Community Services and a Deacon in the Episcopal Chuch. He has over twenty years of experience working in non-profit organizations and faith communities. Much of his time has been dedicated to creating and implementing initiatives and programs that support individuals and families facing tremendous hardship, including issues of substance use, poverty, death and dying, homelessness, incarceration, and spiritual and emotional crisis. Andy helped start and facilitate Four Laundry Love locations in Kansas City and Salina KS and served as a Laundry Love Coach for several years. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has three beautiful children.
This week on The Dirt on Love, Stephanie Maass joins us and takes us on an amazing story ride of 12+ years with the Laundry Love family. Stephanie is a faithful community advocate. She has been involved in local and global non-profit work for over 25 years. Stephanie serves on the Board of Directors for Serve NWA and Laundry Love National. Her work with Laundry Love over the past 12+ years has opened her eyes to the vulnerability of people living on the margins. Everyone deserves their dignity recognized.
