Here it is, guys… I'm kicking off a week of content that you have been asking for and I've been promising for 3. years. now. And I'm starting it off with one of my best of friends, a fellow lover of life and my forever tribeswoman, bonded by a shared exodus + journey of moving our lives across the country, @essentiallyerin__. Our stories are the same, and they are different but Erin is sharing hers this week with us in hopes of encouraging others in the same situations or considering big life moves in pursuit of what your intuition is telling you. We dive deep into what prompted her life-changing move, what are the hardest parts about the transition and what big things she learned along the way. Listen in as Erin shares her heart as we shed a few happy + sad tears over life on the other side of choosing where we thrive.
Celebrating ourselves, or letting other's celebrate us, is a vulnerable thing... because we risk the chance that they'll let us down. That we won't feel special. And that it will feel just like any other day. Is there time to change it before Mother's Day? I think...YES. Listen in as we learn to identify why it feels so hard to be celebrated, how we can own our own needs around feeling special, and how to communicate it to those we love. And incase all falls flat - how to have a Plan B so this Mother's Day can just be the icing on top of your own cake of worthiness, appreciation + happiness.
What if starting today we grow like a sunflower in the direction of the light - what would feel different? What could change? Would more things start to go in our favor? Would more good start enter our life? I can not tell you if you + your spouse are going to make it. Or if your friend will forgive you. But I can tell you that you that things are going to be as okay as you believe they are. Look for the light, and you will find it.
Play requires risk. It's vulnerable emotion. Some of us think we play, some of us have forgotten how to play, and some of us are so full of grief or responsibility the idea of play feels insulting. I've been at each of these places and today i'm going to share my journey with carving out room for play back into my life and how it's sometimes harder to make room for good than let go of bad. Listen in as we define true play, asses our level of health with it and hear a handful of tips you can try on for size too.
