Ross (creeping with armstrong / we watch fringe / animatronic nude dodo) and Jon (animatronic nude dodo) talk irrelevantly about the Doctor Who: New Adventures line of books, this time they discus book One: Timewyrm: Genesys The Virgin New Adventures (NA series, or NAs) were a series of novels from Virgin Publishing based on the British science-fiction television series Doctor Who. They continued the story of the Doctor from the point at which the television programme went into hiatus from television (in 1989). Timewyrm: Genesys is an original Doctor Who novel, published by Virgin Publishing in their New Adventures range of Doctor Who novels. It was the first book in that series, and featured the Seventh Doctor and Ace; it also features a brief cameo of the Fourth Doctor- in the form of a holographic message to his future self- and the Seventh Doctor briefly uses the TARDIS to summon the personality of his third incarnation when he needs his past self's technical expertise. As with all Doctor Who spin-off media, its relationship to the televised serials is open to interpretation. Book cover
