To nominate a future person for Adam to model please take 1 minute to nominate them here: https://courses.adamcox.co.uk/modelling-excellence-monday Modern Mindset Monday: The Mindset of Rafa NadalWhat separates the good from the great? Is it talent?Luck?Confidence?Or something far less glamorous... and far more powerful? In this episode of Modern Mindset Monday, Adam explores the mindset, values, and psychological principles that helped Rafa Nadal become one of the greatest competitors in sporting history.Despite winning 22 Grand Slam titles, Olympic Gold, and spending years as World Number One, Nadal's philosophy was never built around entitlement, ego, or natural ability. Instead, he developed a mental framework based on discipline, humility, resilience, emotional control, and relentless self-improvement.This hypnosis session draws upon seven core principles that define the Nadal mindset:• Respect Every Opponent, Fear None• Focus Only on the Next Point• Intensity Is a Choice• Stay Humble, Especially When Winning• Suffering Is Part of Excellence• Emotional Control Creates Competitive Freedom• Improvement Never EndsThrough hypnosis, you'll discover how to let go of anxiety about outcomes and focus on the next step in front of you. You'll learn how to stay composed under pressure, develop resilience when life becomes difficult, and cultivate the discipline to keep moving forward regardless of mood or circumstance.Whether you're building a business, pursuing a personal goal, overcoming adversity, or simply wanting to become mentally stronger, this session helps install the psychological habits that allow consistent progress over time.Because champions don't become extraordinary through occasional moments of brilliance. They become extraordinary through the mindset they bring to ordinary moments. So take a deep breath, settle in, and prepare to access the calm determination, resilience, and focused intensity that have made Rafa Nadal one of the most respected competitors in history. The next version of you begins with the next point.
Turnbuckle Tavern is powered by G FUEL and Official Dick Lazer. Use code TAVERN for 20% off at GFUEL.com and DickLazers.com. Episode 190 is headlined by a major development in Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE, as all parties have received approval to move the case toward private arbitration. We discuss what the canceled June 16 hearing, the July 10 status report, and the potential move to confidential arbitration could mean, not just legally but publicly, as questions grow about whether WWE and TKO may eventually test the waters for a Vince McMahon rehabilitation tour. We also break down CM Punk's expected WWE return. Punk has been announced for FanaticsFest on July 19, reports continue to point toward a return on or before the July 6 Raw near Chicago, and Dave Meltzer reports WWE's current plan is for Punk to join the SmackDown roster. We examine the teased Cody Rhodes program, why creative changes delayed his return, and what it could mean for SummerSlam. Rhea Ripley is dealing with issues both inside and outside the ring. WWE revealed that the Women's Champion is being evaluated for a knee injury suffered in Italy, while Ripley also opened up about fans crossing major boundaries, including showing up at her home and one person obtaining her personal phone number after being unable to purchase SmackDown tickets. On the AEW side, we look at ticket sales for Redemption in Montreal and Grand Slam Mexico, with both events showing encouraging early momentum. Redemption has distributed 4,782 tickets and is already approaching AEW's previous Bell Centre number, while Grand Slam Mexico sits at 5,146 tickets distributed, well above AEW's current 2026 attendance average. We also cover NJPW Dominion 2026, where five championships changed hands. Yota Tsuji regained the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, Shota Umino captured the IWGP Global Championship, YOH became the 100th IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, Aaron Wolf reclaimed the NEVER Openweight Championship, and Great O Khan and HENARE captured the IWGP Tag Team Championships. Plus, Gabe Kidd returned and immediately inserted himself into the title picture. The road to G1 Climax 36 is now set as NJPW finalizes its play in matches. We discuss Aaron Wolf's rapid rise, the final qualifying matches, and how the field is shaping up before the tournament begins July 11 in Chicago. John Cena also shares new details on the planned John Cena Classic, including WWE's version of an All Star Game, a new championship, fan voting, cross brand exhibition matches, and the possibility, however unlikely, of one more match. Plus, UFC Freedom 250 becomes one of the strangest stories of the year. The FBI says it foiled an alleged attack plot targeting the White House event, Dana White publicly criticized Josh Hokit's remarks about Michelle Obama, Roman Reigns, Nick Khan, Paul Levesque, Shane McMahon, and Declan McMahon were all in attendance, and Daniel Cormier found himself at the center of a bizarre social media controversy involving Eric Trump. From there, we head to TNA, where the company is undergoing major changes. Tessa Blanchard has been granted her release after reportedly declining an exclusive contract offer, while longtime creative figure Tommy Dreamer has mutually parted ways with the promotion after nearly a decade in leadership and creative roles. We break down the reported wrestling politics involving TNA, WWE, AAA, CMLL, and AEW that may have contributed to Blanchard's departure, discuss Dreamer's exit and his impact on the company behind the scenes, examine the reports linking Road Dogg to a potential role in TNA's creative future, and explore what these departures could mean for the company's direction moving forward. We also preview the week ahead, including Cody Rhodes defending the WWE Championship against Gunther with Sami Zayn as special guest referee, Charlotte Flair facing Liv Morgan in the Queen of the Ring semifinals, Mercedes Moné battling Hazuki in the Owen Hart Tournament, AEW's continued build toward Forbidden Door, and a loaded slate of action from NJPW, TNA, and more.

In this fascinating episode of Angus Underground, David Brown and Jim McWilliam welcome internationally respected cattle evaluator, consultant, and global livestock ambassador PJ Budler. Originally from South Africa and now based in Texas, PJ shares stories from a career that has taken him to more than 120 countries and judging assignments in over 50 nations. From evaluating cattle on icy parking lots in Kazakhstan to consulting operations across multiple continents, PJ offers a unique perspective on what makes cattle profitable, functional, and adaptable regardless of geography. The conversation quickly moves beyond travel stories and into a thoughtful discussion on cattle breeding philosophy. PJ argues that profitability begins with the cow on the ranch—not at the feedlot, packing plant, or retail counter. He challenges the industry's obsession with chasing maximum growth and extreme EPDs, advocating instead for balance, fertility, functional efficiency, environmental adaptability, and cattle that work within their production environment. Throughout the discussion, David, Jim, and PJ explore the differences between breeding for optimization versus maximization and why consistent, honest breeding programs ultimately build the strongest customer base. The episode concludes with an in-depth conversation about visual appraisal, functional efficiency, tropical adaptation, the influence of the late Jan Bonsma, and the dangers of overcomplicating cattle breeding. PJ emphasizes that successful breeders combine observation, curiosity, and repetition to understand cattle, while warning against treating genomics or any single tool as the only answer. His message is clear: great cattle breeding is still rooted in common sense, balance, and a relentless focus on profitability and function. Key Discussion Points PJ Budler's journey from a South African farm to becoming a globally recognized cattle judge and consultant Judging cattle in more than 50 countries and visiting over 120 countries worldwide The creation of the "Champion of the World" livestock competition Why profitable cow-calf operations start with efficient cows rather than terminal traits Functional efficiency versus chasing extreme genetic measurements The importance of fertility, body condition, and hormonal balance in cattle selection How environmental adaptability should influence breeding decisions Angus cattle and the challenges of heat, humidity, and parasite pressure The role of Bos indicus influence in tropical environments Why consistency and honesty are powerful marketing tools for seedstock producers Lessons from Jan Bonsma and observation-based cattle breeding The dangers of treating genomics as the "only game in town" Sponsor & Ad Mentions Creek Insurance -for more information or quotes visit InsureMyBull.com

Sometimes, a gravel champion of multiple nations simply finds himself without a floor pump. A few weeks ago, Benjamin Perry was in need of such a tool at Unbound Gravel, the premier gravel race on the calendar. Perry, who's based in Gerona, wasn't able to pack a pump for his North American trip. “Then, I was going around the hotel waiting for somebody to come out of a room who looked like a cyclist,” he said. “In Emporia around Unbound week, it's pretty easy to find somebody who has a floor pump, so it's not the end of the world.” Still, having to search for a pump to set his tires for a big event is quite the contrast to his days as a professional road racer, when his teams would take care of all the logistics and maintenance. Elite gravel—it requires a lot of hustle. For the past three seasons, Perry has been making his way as a privateer racing on mixed surfaces. He's had successes, including his 2025 Canadian gravel championship title. (He's set to defend in a few days. He faces serious competition.) This year, he competed in the Catalan championships, and won, putting him in the strange situation of being a non-Catalan with that community's champion's jersey. He's also had multiple top-10 finishes at major races this season. Yet sometimes, Perry has to scramble for parts. Did a few boos—or a few cheers—at Madison Square Garden really matter? Not as much as the media seemed to think. As President Trump's appearance at the NBA Finals sparked another round of political hysteria, the bigger story became the growing contrast between two visions for America. From primary election battles in Maine, South Carolina, and Nevada to debates over election integrity, media bias, and voter enthusiasm, the conversation turns to why one side appears fueled by optimism while the other seems consumed by outrage. Plus, a candid challenge to Democrats to defend the direction of their party, a look at why political hatred has become such a powerful force in modern discourse, and why showing up, voting, and staying engaged may matter more than ever as the midterms draw closer.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Most fundraising problems aren't fundraising problems. They're board problems.Elise Woodworth — VMI alum, Air Force veteran, and author of Business Not Battle — joins Trevor to unpack why so many nonprofit boards stall out, and what to actually do about it. She came to this work through a back door (the VMI Foundation made her their first female and youngest-ever trustee), and her approach is unusual: instead of teaching EDs how to manage their boards, she teaches board members how to be effective in the first place. In this episode: the 20-minute Champion's Elevator Pitch exercise you can run at your next meeting, the four thoughtful questions that move a stuck organization forward, why Elise refuses to say the word "fundraising" with new boards, and her four-month blueprint for turning around a burned-out board. If you've ever said "I can't get my board to fundraise," this one's for you.Chapters:00:00 Intro00:55 Understanding Strength and Strategic Mindset05:45 Journey into Nonprofit Leadership11:14 Empowering Board Members14:53 Embracing Change for Growth18:37 Aligning Mission and Leadership19:19 The Champion's Elevator Pitch24:11 Transforming Fear into Invitation30:35 Passion for Nonprofit ImpactHave a question or topic you'd like us to cover? In this episode of Don't Miss This, Dave Butler and Grace Freeman study 1 Samuel 17–18, 24–26 and 2 Samuel 5–7, following the journey of David from shepherd boy to king. What begins with an unexpected anointing in Bethlehem unfolds through battlefields, friendships, acts of mercy, and years of preparation, revealing how God sees potential long before the world can recognize it. As Samuel searches for Israel's next king, the Lord teaches one of scripture's most powerful lessons: man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart. David may have seemed like the least likely choice, yet God saw something greater. Through the story of David and Goliath, we see a young man whose confidence came not from his own strength, but from his trust in God, reminding us that the greatest victories come when our eyes are fixed on the Lord instead of the giants before us. The episode also explores the people who shaped David's life along the way. From Jonathan's loyal friendship to Abigail's wisdom and mercy, these stories reveal how God places the right people in our path during seasons of uncertainty and growth. The account of David's mighty men highlights the power of surrounding ourselves with faithful people who strengthen our courage, share our battles, and help us become who God is calling us to be. Ultimately, David's story is about more than a shepherd becoming a king. It is a reminder that God sees who we can become long before we see it ourselves. Through every battle, friendship, triumph, and setback, the Lord was shaping David into the leader He had promised he would be. The same God who saw a king in a shepherd boy continues to see divine potential in each of us and patiently helps us grow into it.
