How to stay motivated with fitness, food and goals a up to 3.5 min podcast
Hi all! As I take this new journey into doing my podcast, I noticed that my episodes are really time consuming. It takes a lot of energy to think of a topic, and speak about it for up to 3.5 mins. I know that my podcast is about talking for 3.5 mins but that 3.5 min topic can range from 30 mins ( which isn't bad) to 3 hours. Just like any new habit, it takes time. With this time away ( and chiming in from time to time) I hope that I can find something that will make sense and work with my schedule. Thank you so much for listening in! I hope to continue a routine that best fits me. That's what life is about, find what you're comfortable with and let it work for you.
Theres a reason for everything: That affirmation that you tell yourself in the morning, have you been saying it? Or is it just too routine now?! I caught myself not wanting to do it because it was just too tedious... but that step is more crucial than I knew...
Sometimes your old habit creeps back in, and no matter what we tell ourselves sometimes we need someone to help remind us why we're doing this!
Write things down on your calendar. Prioritize it. Add to the list but always prioritize it! Breathe, Relax, and stay organize. What's messy, a bit chaotic that needs a bit decluttering... I never thought this was true until recently. You'll be surprise with what the magic of decluttering can do.
Take small steps each day so you're not making a huge mess and learning the huge mess all at once... Hmmm I wonder if it's because I started clearing out my closet and my workspace that the cleaning and tidying is spreading to the kitchen and downstairs area... Hmmm
When you don't feel like doing it... Keep on moving! ESPECIALLY if you are just starting!
Please check the conversation that you’re having with yourself… It may surprise you! As it did with me today. I don’t know how this happened, this self sabotage talk to myself… But I know It needs to stop. And with everything it takes time and it needs to be persistent.
What did you did you achieve for January? How do you feel about meeting those goals? What progress can you make coming in February? Focus, Execute and be great!
I started a new routine and well... I wrote down what I achieved and what I fell off on for the month of January... and Today was the last day of January... I had things that were so close to the home run but never made it.... But I soon realize it's the last day! I'm not perfect and my 2020 motto is it's progress not perfection! So... here i am keeping tabs on myself and still playing catch up! Because life is about progress not about perfection! I read and finished my first book in January and I will finish my quota Podcast in January! Because it starts now and it starts here! Woohoo we got this!
Sometimes we focus on others before ourselves on the things we ourselves need help on. Look to see what it is that you're doing for others first before yourself and see if you put yourself first and helped YOURSELF how would your life be? To me, It was putting up laundry. I could put up laundry for everyone but when it came to me... I recognized that I had to work on my stuff first. Kind of like love yourself first before you can allow someone else to love you kinda thing... Hmmm
No one taught us how Who we are. Everyone's taught us what we should be. I took an assessment a few years ago and it taught me my powers and also my blind spots that could potentially stop me from aligning my goals to reality. I am providing a link for the free mini DISC assessment. If you like, maybe do that first and see where it goes! Happy Self learning =) -Here is a link to the free mini version DISC assessment: behavioralresourcegroup.com/free-disc-p…ality-test/ -Link to schedule a one on one with Jair: behavioralresourcegroup.com/scheduling/

When you pause your goals and your daily routines, remember you're allowed to do that. Sometimes it's more of a need than a want. Take a moment to breathe, but please, don't stop. Breathe if you must, but remember, As sad as it is, it's true Life happens and Life waits for no one.
How do you prioritize your to do list when you have a last minute project? Did you have to take anything out of your to do list? If not- why? If you did, why? What did you learn from it?
