David and Kyle are two old friends who now live across the country from each other. Using the internet and two recorders, they each make a dish in their own kitchens while shooting the breeze and trying not to burn the house down.
Kyle Stephens & David Modzelewski
David brings it back to the classics and cooks a sausage over spaghetti squash and zucchini. Kyle shamelessly cooks from a Blue Apron box.IG: @weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
We're back! Kyle adjusts to LA life and watches another dog while making an arugula and cream cheese stuffed chicken breast topped with pineapple, while David discussed newfound kitten woes and makes pressure-cooked chicken and dumplings with homemade cornbread.IG - weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
It's the salmoniest episode yet! Kyle makes a salmon eggs benedict with homemade Hollandaise sauce while David cooks a salmon with a sriracha honey glaze and an experimental cauliflower waffle. It's one big coin-toss of an episode!Instagram - weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
Kyle's back in Johnson City to help David make the best meal ever, duck with orange gravy. Special guest Brandon Cox.Instagram - weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
It's a soup-off! David makes a turkey and spinach tortellini soup while Kyle fixes up a broccoli cheddar soup that would make the Wednesday night special at Cracker Barrel proud. IG - @weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
We're back from vacation and we can't shut up about it! Eventually we get around to cooking, and David makes a quiche for dinner, which is apparently gauche? I dunno, we ain't sophisticates. Meanwhile, after gorging on pasta for two weeks, all Kyle wants is some starch and meat, so he's making bangers and mash with homemade onion gravy.IG - @weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
Our first travel episode! Kyle goes to Italy with his friends Eddie and Kim while David, who phones in, goes to Bucharest, Romania, and Greece with his lady Ammanda. Just about anywhere there's good food... and cheap flights. And for once, Kyle's not the one who messes up a dish!Instagram - @weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
David cleans out his freezer before his big trip to Greece and makes spareribs. Before he goes to Italy, Kyle makes pork shoulder tacos after ruining his first attempt, turkey tenderloin tacos. It's a story of redemption. Also they spoil Avengers like everyone else, so heads up.Instagram - @weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
We ain't got but an hour to make these dishes before the Game of Thrones returns. Kyle sticks to what he knows and cooks up a salmon thing with spicy cauliflower, and David spends hours slow cooking an ox tail to what could only be described as head-smashingly delicious. That's a good reference, right? From the one guy?Instagram - @weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
David makes an apple wood smoked chicken with Carolina mustard glaze that will make your ears water. Kyle, the Goofus to David's Gallant, makes broccoli cheddar fritters and a scratch-made carrot ginger soup, but has to puree it with his smoothie machine. Yes, there are pictures. Kyle maybe could have suffocated himself from the smoke of frying up pork and chicken schnitzel in his WIP kitchen (there isn't actually a fan), but at what price a happy full belly? Warm potato salad, at that. David grills up a chicken thigh and bakes some zucchini and likely risked no physical danger to himself.Instagram - weaintcooksMusic - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
David makes a traditional spaghetti squash dish with ground turkey. Kyle gets real lofty and tries to do a spaghetti squash stir fry with tofu and barely reads the recipe.Music - "Baby Carrots" by Jacob Mann Big Band
